Bought one at a quilt show for $480. A steal in my opinion. Thread cutter, programmed 1/4 inch seam stitch with small stitches, lightweight, foldable table for traveling and quiet too. Had a Janome 4000for over 20 years and it’s still going...best machine for the price, hands down.
i JUST found you and am so sad that you are out of business. I understand your videos and would be happy to pay to see more of you teaching this old dog some new tricks! Hope you are well.
I purchased this machine about 2 yrs ago. I use it as my backup it’s also the machine I’m using to teach my granddaughter to sew. This is a great little machine.
I have seen some reviews about the Janome 3160 QDC having problems with bobbin case jams or thread tangles. Have Janome addressed this on the newer machines? I would hate to buy one and then have this issue.
I have one of these but it's not the B edition.I have a problem with stitching stretchy fabrics. I also find that the bobbin does not wind evenly. What am I doing wrong ?
Assuming you're straight stitching, you just dial to the "00" stitch. I always just use the 1/4" foot with the default settings that come on when you turn the machine on. I think the 1/4" foot is the same type of foot as the normal foot ("A") except it has the black metal guide on the right side of the needle. Just make sure your needle position is over the hole on whatever foot you want to use. For example, the "F" foot (Fancy) also works with the straight stitch (the screen will tell you to use an "A" Foot.)
@@dhayana7871 that machine should I dont have to but plan on buying it... there are a number of needles and you need stretch needles for your stretchy fabrics. Hope this helps
You’re buried in a sea of room contents because you used a wide angle lense on your camera. I cannot see what I came to see which is the machine but instead I should’ve got to see everything in your room..

What was the purchase price?
I am looking for presser feet for my Janome 3160 QDC. Can you please provide a link for me?
Is there a needle setting for a scant 1/4 “ ?
You can use the "00" setting with the 1/4" guide foot. Just make sure your needle is positioned in the center.
LOVE my machine!!! Definitely worth every penny.
Is this a full sized machine or like a featherweight size.. Jem720?
Just getting to know my new Janome. If I want to use the quarter inch foot, what needle setting do I choose to get that perfect 1/4” seam?
