The Janome 5300 sewing machine would be a pleasure to have. I especially like the auto backstitch and the auto thread cutter at the edge of the fabric. Cute little machine. ❤️
After reviewing all the videos and seeing machines in person, I purchased a Skyline S7! It is much more machine than I am used to, but Ann was so encouraging, and I am looking forward to learning to sew on this beautiful machine.

I think the Janome machines are the best. LOVE love love the automatic thread cutter. Can you get a closer satin stitch on the red button hole example? Taking my chance and hoping to win as I have 2 young granddaughters 10 and 6 that so want to learn to sew, make doll and Barbie clothes and eventually clothing for them selves and maybe a quilt for their beds.

Would love to retire my 30 year old Janome MC8000 for a new machine. She wouldn't be totally retired LOL....none of us girls are but she'd be getting help with a new Janome in the house. All your videos are wonderful...lots of tips and am not so old that learning has become boring.
SO educational! What is the applique stitch you used on the 5300 that gave the "needle turn" look? You mentioned it as you sewed it, but didn't show which one it was on the stitch display. Thank you!

Super Stitch is a great shop. I have a Janome that my husband gave me for Christmas about 15 years ago. I still use it almost everyday.
