Looks amazing and love the paint colour but as you say i have a 2022 ST which I've had from new. It's been brilliant and continues to be brilliant so i couldn't justify nearly £20K more on this. It is very nice though

There’s some brand new ones on Allen Ford £4k deposit £490 per month for 3 years pcp there’s some low mileage used ones for £23k to 27k but monthly payments more because of used rate finance 👍🏾

Any updates on the ST Edition digital cluster ? Is it exclusive for the ST Edition? Or comes standard on all 2024 produced STs ?
I ordered a normal ST Track Pack with all available packets plus sunroof (Metallic Gray), and showed your video to the dealer asking why the Edition has a different digital cluster, her said probably all 2024 STs will come with this cluster, the new Kuga has it too
Update: The dealer has just called me, Panorama sunroof can't be ordered together with the Track Pack... Unfortunately.
No worries at all and I am happy you enjoyed the video. My understanding is that this is specific to the ST Edition but I cannot be 100% sure if it is the same on 2024 Focus ST's in non-edition specification. You will have to let us know when yours arrives and many congrats on your order. Love the sound of that spec 👍
Likely they were only given to select garages (best sales performers) due to the reasons they may struggle to sell that you highlighted.

That makes sense. I spoke to them today on the phone and they said to me both cars are brand new so sadly no test drive from me for the channel to share with you all unless an owner does offer. Both cars still for sale and I see a few more appearing on autotrader also so it looks like 300 will be built and given to dealers without a guarantee sale so perhaps deals are available on these. No worries at all and I appreciate the positive feedback 🙏
Very cool video. However this car at 41k seems overpriced.
As much as I admire any company sticking with ICE for performance cars, the market is moving towards EV so residual values are not going to be great added with the factor that it's a Ford makes that even worse.
I've just picked up a used mk8 R and even without the PP, it's more car than the focus.
You have a golf R! Isnt that thing faster then that ford?
Yeah I do love my Golf R! 7 years in and it hits the spot for me although I'd say the ST Edition is more fun on a back road 👍

The Magnetic grey ST outside on the forecourt looked nicer,Azura blue has been deleted from the Puma facelift ST 170ps ,a lot of money for a bit of blue stitching and blue paint,I'd rather have Mk 8-5 golf Gti
That Magnetic Grey ST was certainly more subtle and would be more refined on the road with the automatically adjustable suspension and less track focused tyres for sure. The Golf GTI is certainly a big competitor to this 👍

How many miles do you change the oil after buying a new Ford?, it's worth buying it, but in a different color, because it's a regular varnish, it's better to pay extra for metalized paint
As far as I am aware it is normal service intervals with Fords. So 1 year or 12,000 miles for oil which ever comes sooner. Worth double checking though with the dealer. The special paints for ST versios look fantastic! I particularly like this Azura blue but in the standard ST they have many great colours to choose from like frozen white, mean green and fantastic red to name a few 👍
@@SamAustin I'm more concerned about the shavings in the engine after rubbing, what do you think about it, is there anything to be afraid of?
The car from new would be under warranty and I have not heard of this issue you are describing myself.
@@SamAustin Supposedly, the engine is run-in at the factory, but metal shavings will always be found in the oil filter, at 1242 miles, the oil should be replaced with a new one

What a scam regarding the cost of the first years Road Tax

My last 3 cars were all valued at over 40k so the pain of higher tax goes on

Great video Sam, lovely colour Azura Blue £44k it is not cheep, you could get a Focus MK3 RS if you can find a low mileage example. If I had the choice I would go for another RS, obviously I would still keep my Red Machine👍
Thank you! Yes, plenty of options around that price point to go for on both the new and used market. I think you have to be really into your fast Fords to go for this one. However, it does seem like a great car to me 👍
@@SamAustin I almost changed my RS for a Red Edition RS MK3, but I couldn't do a deal, Iam a bit of a sucker for limited run cars. But I decided when I got my current car that I was going to keep and enjoy it, sad to see that this will be the last proper ford hot hatch. Maybe we will see the Fiesta back as an EV, I really like what Renault are doing with the reinvented Renault 5, the Alpine looks cool🔥

It is hard to justify this over my MK7 Golf R although I am never one for ruling anything out as I do like the car. I would likely be more interested in a MK4 Pre-Facelifted Focus ST Edition for around the 20-25k mark or a 2022 plate Track Pack Focus ST🤔
