Sebastian Vettel because he deserve another one
Charles Leclerc
Nico rosberg
I would like to see carlos as formula 1 world champion :3
That's a no brainer. Gotta be Charles Leclerc.
Although you get the feeling that the momentum is with Max Verstappen, in terms of his race craft on track and how good the RedBull team operate when they give him a competitive car and react best to race day situations........ regardless of some of the car problems with the new gen F1 cars.
I'd love to see Leclerc winning the championship. I have been a fan of him since his F2 days and really like him as a person. Also it's about time that Ferrari finally gets another title 😅
🐿

Yes
@@dillonhughes5790 he isn’t he posted a story on Instagram to push him, he is such a hustler and great creator that I support that and find this fair, greetings from Germany
I'd love to see Alonso as world champion one last time, the man was so close so many times and it's a travesty that one of the most talented drivers of all time hasn't been close to a championship fight for nearly a decade now.
Yeah .
Two titles aren't enough for such a great driver like him .
I personally consider his Runner Ups in 2010 & 2012 as greater achievements than Seb's 2011,13 title wins and Lewis Hamilton's 2014-20 titles on dominant cars .
same with Sebastian . Seb deserved the 2017 title . He outperformed the car that year , but luck was with Lewis .
not in 2007
Has to be Charles - his best start to a season ever and we were all expecting either Max or Lewis so it’s nice to see another driver in the mix. Even if Charles doesn’t win, how good would it be to have Ferrari back on top winning the constructors? Missed seeing that prancing horse logo at the top.
Yes, hope he can be the champion this year.
Completely agree mate 👍
Forza ferrari 🔴🔴🔴

@@frizzygaming5144 Who?
It’s got to be Charles Leclerc for me, he’s started the season expertly well. He drove a great race in the opener in Bahrain and was very unlucky not to win last time out in Jeddah. He also did the fastest lap time ever at Melbourne earlier today which is incredible as well. He’s getting better with each race and each season, and he’s looking like he’ll be a real contender and a tough challenge for Verstappen this season.
I think almost everyone would love to see Charles winning the championship this year. He’s a young guy with a great personality both on and off the track, he carries himself well and is just all round one of the ‘good guys’ of life. I wouldn’t just like him to win it for himself but for Ferrari too. They’ve had a few mediocre years, but they’ve developed and built a great car this season that both drivers are getting the best out of. Ferrari did say a few seasons ago that they’d expect to be competitive again in 2022, so it’s now their time to shine. It’s long overdue that Ferrari were back on top, go bring it home Charles I’m rooting for you!
I simply LOVE Charles - he is a near PERFECT driver for me, reminds me of early days of Alonso when he challenged and conquered then 7 times world champion Micheal Schumacher and adding to his praise, he learns so well from his mistakes, never out of line or dangerous, loves clean and hard racing and never afraid to touch but not push it beyond - Silverstone (Max & Charles was legendary driving and shows what he is really made off - Best of Luck - Charles)
I’d love to see Leclerc be a world champion this year. But Carlos would most likely be on his tail since he has good pace as well. Ferrari is definitely making a comenback this year!
Hmmmm
I would love to see Carlos Sainz as champion. He’s been progressively getting better every year he’s been in the sport, and there were a couple times during his career where it looked like he’d be out of a drive, but he’s come back each time and proven a point. All that’s left is to start racking up wins and eventually a championship!
He takes is really seriously, I don’t know if you’ve noticed in his recent podiums he was almost upset about not getting p1, I like seeing that passion to get the top step, also seems like a legit humble dude
I’d have to go with checo, his driving has looked very strong this season as evidenced by his pole in Jeddah. I think he is definitely world champion material and I would love to see him win the championship! Let’s go Checo!🇲🇽🇲🇽
Lol
I'd love to see Charles win it. First Ferrari champion since Kimi, first Monégasque champion and a very fast driver. I just hope he can stay consistently fast without crossing that line where he makes big mistakes too often.
Thanks Nico being a “Melburanian” and having my home race back I can’t wait for this weekend. Obviously would Love to see Danny Ric win 2022 but unlikely to happen. I would rather watch you than the team at sky sports they are just too biased and you give a far better insight into F1 then they ever could. Keep up the channel awesome stuff
Carlos Sainz would be a great 2022 champion, because of his progression during the years, since Toro Rosso until Ferrari, at least, he deserve his first f1 victory of his life
Would love to see Valtteri as champion! Doesn't really seem possible atm but boy would it be savage!
Got 5 years to prove it
Same man, I’m a redbull fan but I want to see Bottas win sooooooo bad
I want Checo to win this time. Although it does seem unlikely, I'm sure not many would complain.
Ya he is capable of winning
2nd👍
Thanks Nico - I enjoy when it is the drivers explaining tracks - nothing better than real life experience.
The Alonso prediction wasn't too shabby after all, shame about the hydraulics.
I'm pretty sure porpoising is caused by the rear diffuser stalling when it gets too close to the ground and is not just from the tracks being bumpy...
The new generation of cars needs to be run a lot lower to the ground compared to previous generations for ground effect aero to work so that's why the rear diffuser gets so much closer to the track than before. This is also why raising the car can reduce propoising, the car has less downforce and the diffuser is further from the ground so the car is both not getting sucked to the ground with as much force and the diffuser has further to go before stalling. Porpoising also can't really be detected before running on track because it is such a difficult phenomenon to simulate and running the cars that close to the ground in a wind tunnel would damage the tunnel. I'm sure tracks being bumpy doesn't help porpoising but isn't the main cause of it. It's more of a problem that needs to be solved with ride height and suspension adjustments. It also could be solved with active suspension or a mass damper but those tricks are now illegal thanks to the FIA.
Anyway, I would love to see Seb win another title eventually but that doesn't seem practical considering AMs performance so I really want Charles to win this year. He really deserves it after everything he's been through.
I’d love to see Daniel Ricciardo win the championship, he need just a little more luck
And what a celebration he’ll do after winning championship 😃
He should've stayed at redbull
@@RustyZonda nah it would have been difficult. max was improving so much in comparison to him
@@anurag15271 not saying he would've beat max, but at least would've had a car to fight for the championship and wins with
@@RustyZonda redbull is too toxic. Going to Renault and now McLaren could maybe have been a better career choice mentally. If he did stay at redbull, he would’ve had a big team rivalry with Max and likely be treated poorly. But he was definitely happy at Renault and McLaren
@@saltybread7500 top teams are toxic if u are not upto the full perf. RB, merc, ferrrari all are toxic.
I hope there are more new tracks so that we get more track analysis and these q&a from Nico. 🤣 Missed these videos so much. Can't wait for more 🥳
I feel like I would love to Vettel or Alonso wining as they are old school, and its always fun to watch them
I’d love to see Charles Leclerc win. after a few years in f1 with a not-as competitive car for a bit, he has a chance to win his first title. Would be great to see him win it and excited for the battles!
Who I would like to see at F1 champ this year…. Sainz, Perez or Bottas. Sainz is very consistent and has consistently improved. Remember a few years ago he almost lost his seat altogether and now look at him. He has a good chance this year. Would love to also see Perez. Such a great driver for so many years and so consistent as well. Bottas cause his role in Mercedes and getting Lewis all those championships has been so down played and then on top of it he got screwed over by Mercedes, although looking at their performance this year he dodged a bullet.
So nice to see a new track analysis by you after so long!
QOTD: Carlos Sainz. Seems like a very likeable person. He is not quite on the pace of his Teammate this season, but I think he will improve as he gets more comfortable in the car.
These are my favorite videos on youtube. I think it was the Imola video where you suggested to downshift to counter the understeer? I thought that was brilliant. All of these tips are useful and I appreciate them man!
Alonso definitely. It would be one of the greatest stories in F1 history and easily the biggest gap between championships
rosbergs doggooo
Definitely Charles, his dominance this season even if it’s only been two races really resembles seb in 2010-13 and that speaks volumes. He even set the fastest time ever on the Aus gp 🤯.
first races haven't been dominant considering he lost one and he set the fastest time cause the track is shorter and faster
@@MrTomWaffles since the track is shorter and faster, everyone w a good car on the grid could have set the fastest time, only a good a car is not enough for good races. he has been topping the time charts consistently and for a team which in the past few years was midfield to now dominating the grid show that they are here to win. max will win a few races for sure but he won't win the championship and same goes for Carlos, also not ruling out a fight between max and Charles but I doubt it would be as cut-throat as max and lewis last year.
I completely agree. I would LOVE to see Fernando win another championship! He's a driver who has consistently given great performance after great performance throughout his career. He's never been afraid to challenge championship favourites, even if he's in the midfield. Simply put, he let's his driving do the talking and he doesn't give up. He's everything a champion should aspire to be in my opinion. Also, he seems like a great bloke and I think he would be great fun on a night out! :)
I will love to see Sergio winning as his last pole on Saudi and now I guess he has improved in his qualifying so I think there are chances
The last two corners are very interesting. Every car does what nico does and goes very far to the left in order to open the corner onto the start/finish straight but the ferraris stay very tight and don't move over much at all. I'm interested to know whether that is downforce levels or something different in chassis design.
Definitely want to see Vettel back on the top step, he's proven to be too great a human being to NOT want him to do well.
Btw, when do we get Seb on the podcast?
Sebastian Vettel for sure he is true f1 legend and still continues to put in the hard work and has the desire to win
Fingerman has to much hype... Thats why People dont like him as he whant.... Im still think that he won 3 championships only because Red bull engineers...as well as ham has he's last 3 cups)) you will see that ham soon too will start "sing same songs"))
@@КонстантинСмирнов-н9ь that like saying Hamilton won 6 title because of Mercedes’ engineers
LONG LIVE THE GOAT!!!!!
The podcast is most likely when he retires at the end of this season
Oh I waited for this video for SO long! Very looking forward to seeing your analysis of the remaining races of the season (they should be Miami, Singapore, Suzuka, Montreal and Zeltweg)
Honestly for me I would love to see Carlos Sainz win, for him and his father to both be world champions in different racing categories would be so cool!
Additionally I like how Carlos conducts himself, more so than the other drivers (bar Checo)
About the Tyre grip. I believe the Tyre warmer are set at a lower temperature this season. Down something like 30C° compared to 2021 season, correct me if I'm wrong. That's why they can struggle a bit more on the out lap this year.
I would actually want to see Daniel Ric winning the championship. Arguably one of best drivers never to win the title. He was a monster at Red Bull and a master of overtaking + everybody seems to love him - a guy that makes everybody likes who would represent the sport in a great way, where as Lewis or Max for example, divide opinion :)
I'd like to see Carlos Sainz win the championshiop. Last year he outscored Leclerc consistently once he learned the car. At the end of the year he was 5th in the championship and Leclerc was 6th. He is meticulous about understanding the details of the car, the company operations, the crew. He is so dedicated that every time he has changed teams he has moved to be close to the factory so he could go in whenever he was not at a race!
I would love if any of the experienced folk won this year. Be it Danny, Nando, Seb or even Perez.
As a Seb fan it would be amazing to see him win a race this year, and maybe even the title (although it would be extremely unlikely)
It would be insanely difficult for seb to win the title. He missed two races already… the car is not superbly fast either (actually fighting Williams in the back).
@@nickfury8973 true, but imagine…
Charles leclerc would be my top pick for WDC he just is such a good talent and has been working hard and putting the ferrari consistently towards the front of the pack and a Ferrari comeback after the dry spell would be amazing to see.
I would like to see norris win the championship however from McLaren’s performance so far i don’t nt believe this will happen. A more realistic guess would be sainz and i think he has the consistency to at least be a contender.
My vote goes to Charles. He's such a perfectionist and his eagerness to always improve needs to be rewarded. Also Ferrari has to return to its winning ways and it looks like they've created something special this year.
Daghe Charles as you say in Monaco! :)
Would love to see Charles. This will be my 1st season watching F1, and everything from his personality, to the rivalry between him and Max going back to their karting days are somethings I’ve found myself fascinated by. Regardless, would love nothing more than seeing the season come down to the wire.
i wish i could say it isn’t a long shot, but danny ric, that would be so surprising, and awesome.
I want max to win again with a clean run. Last year looked shaky at times and I think with the ending of the season people still don’t believe he deserved it. Although a Seb, Daniel or Fernando win would be no problems or me :)
He didn't deserve it, any numb nuts can see that.
cool to see nico driving the car and approaching the corners like it used to be with the 2009-16 spec cars. Much slower.
i'd love to see Daniel Ricciardo, i really think he has the talent to do it, and a lot of people seem to keep doubt him even after that brilliant race in monza, would be nice to see him WC
It's a very interesting circuit, and on top of that the last few races have been crazy.. full of duels, full of adrenaline! I missed these videos already, Nico!
I'd love to see Charles Leclerc to win the 2022 championship.
Just because i want a new rivalry. He was battling Max in karting days, he's super talented, a fast learner, and he seems very mature this season. He was unlucky last season with some Dnf.
Imagine rivalry between Max vs Charles as a word champ in 2023.
Their wheel to wheel battles in the past was always great to see. Austria 19, Silverstone 19, Bahrain 22. Young gun vs young gun, BOOM.
Carlos Sainz. He has been under the radar until recent years. Would be cool to get his first win in 2022 plus a world title!
The break-cooling system is obviously a big reason why they are not getting the heat on the tires, the cooling system is way better then before so the heat generated from breaking hard can not be absorbed from the tire's anymore- that's what I heard Sidle (I guess) or another engineer explain it.
I'd like to see Sainz or Leclerc as champion this year, as both have not been able to properly show off their talent fully in previous years and now they both look like they will remain at the top throughout the season.
I think Nico can still compete, first he has that teenager look like these young drivers and by the looks of video he still can go!!!! I just ordered my simulator it’s going to take 2 years to paying for it lol.. thank you for the free lesson. Love the channel
Charles Leclerc, his story of losing his father then that phenomenal race in F2 the same week, to losing antoine hubert then winning his maiden race that same weekend, his life is a movie. Would be great to see him win.
Unpopular opinion but Sainz. Sainz is a driver who is constantly the shadow within the team and he is truly an underrated driver. He's shown the ability to push the cars he drives beyond their limit at such precision. Sainz is due for a race win and eventually a championship which I think this year will be his opportunity. Not to mention a possible battle with Leclerc for the title would be absolutely epic and could be a similar title fight to the one we had in 2016.
I’d love to see Perez win it. I think he has a good shot with the RB this year. Seems the new regs might help him vs Verstappen.
I would like to see you as a champion, unfortunately I got into F1 too late and I couldn't see all your successes, since I have been following F1 I have been informed about everything. I looked at the 2016 season on Sky WOW, like the 2015 and 2014 ones. Then even if michael in 2012 wasn't the strongest michael of all time with the same car you could beat him, as you did with lewis. Personally I do not know you but speaking to many people who have seen and "known" you all say that you are a very good young and gritty guy, plus you are half Italian as you said at Monza 2016, you are a great person both at a sporting level and human; I hope you read what I wrote.
To Nico from a little big fan of formula 1 and above all you❤️
Based off the current championship positions and the drivers points i want max to win but it would be cool to see leclerc win
Leclerc, Sainz, and Norris. I hope they all score amazingly this year.
I think Charles or Carlos would be great to see, but I personally would love a surprise like K-mag or Seb. Imagine the comeback story for either of those guys.
Hey Nico! Love the videos, your accent, and you're one of my favourite F1 drivers of all time (even though you drove for Mercedes🤣🤫)!
I would absolutely LOVE to see the Mexican Minster of Defence aka Mr Sergio "Checo" Pérez as the 2022 F1 World Champion. This guy has proven himself to be a fantastic, fighting, hardcore racing driver that simply NEVER GIVES UP! I still can't get over the fact that Checo won the Sakhir Grand Prix in 2020 from LAST PLACE, and that with Racing Point😲
And don't even get me started on the phenomenal fighting spirit he showed in the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix during that truly exciting battle with Lewis Hamilton!😱As a lifelong Red Bull fan, watching Sergio fight off Lewis in that race was very FUN to watch😂😂
This year, it seems that Checo is struggling less with the Red Bull car in comparison to Super Max, so with all my heart I hope that this year our Mexican Minister of Defence can take home his FIRST EVER Driver's World Championship (hopefully alongside the Constructor's Championship for Red Bull😉).
Max Verstappen - I can really see him as someone who can also get 7 WDC or at least more than one . Also, whenever the guy is not on the track, he's on the track virtually (iRacing). He really is one of the most obsessed racing drivers and I love that about him.
Also, what's your opinion on Charles going past the pitstop line during Jeddah and his car lights not working? Max seemed to be frustrated about these things. Is this something Charles should be penalized for? I honestly don't think its that big of a deal.
Indeed, Born to race.
max hasn't even won one legit championship yet
@@internetuser1183 Did you watch last season? Most wins, most laps lead, beat a 7 time champion, salty? 2bad, he deserved last season. And it wont be last he wins. He still has 15 years in him
Nico you always be the goat in my heart, i miss your presence in f1
Hi Nico, great content!
This year I would love to see Fernando Alonso as a world champions as he’s been my favorite driver since I started watching F1 and I fully believe in El Plan, also because it would be incredibly amazing to see him back at the top fighting for wins. I would love to see Carlos Sainz too as a world champion as he used to be quite underrated but has proven to be one of the most consistent drivers on the grid and that can make him world champion one day. Finally I would love to see Lando Norris winning the world title, sadly Mclaren this year looks a bit disappointing, but he is young and has the potential to win many races, so I’d love to see him also at the top.
I'd like to see Ocon do well. He just has the charisma which makes him a very likeable driver in my opinion. Also a very talented young lad
I'd love to see Sainz win this year, he's proving time and time again though he has a smaller presence in the paddock compared to Charles or even max he is definitely a 'smooth operator' and has the pace (imo) to take the championship with all the work you can see he has put in since the McLaren days he is championship worthy.
Thanks Nico for the videos- makes me feel like I have a personal F1 trainer.
I saw him arrive to F1 and climb the ladder, watched him conquer hearts with modesty, hard work and the biggest love and respect for the sport.
I celebrated when he signed for Ferrari and when I feared that it would take long more to come, I saw him fight with nails and teeth with Hamilton for a sweeter victory on Italy; quoting Senna's words, that victory had to come. In the way, this boy lost his father and one of their best friends. He honors them every day with his talent and he will keep honoring them with his first world championship, so 2022 has to be CHARLES LECLERC'S year 💫!
For me it's Alonso, because he has missed out on multiple titles through his career because of good looking decisions which turned out bad. Also I think that it would be the largest ever margin between two titles in the history of F1.
I'd love Carlos Sainz to become world champion in 2022. It would obviously be great for there to be another Ferrari world champion but for it to be the 'underdog' driver amongst the pair of ferrari drivers would be absolutely amazing and a spectacular sight to see.
Wow!
Primeiro comentário do vídeo é de um brasileiro
Nico Rosberg me nota
lol you changed it from first to this
I believe the tyre blankets are 10 degress colder this season also
For context I am an ‘out an out Lewis fan’, However I would love for ‘Carlos Sainz’ to win this year!
I think his talent is of often underrated & i would be delighted to see him happily cement the rest of his career, as a Ferrari driver who isn’t branded as “just the N°2”.
Also because we all know Charles will, at the bare minimum, will get a championship at his Ferrari tenor.
He actually has fans?
I always love seeing anyone under Toto's wing do well; he's the Wolff!
I would love it if Vettel became world champion. however, everyone knows that the Aston Martin is bad and unfortunately it will most likely be his last season
Not an expert but Nico is half correct there,
Tyre temperature are limited because the tyre blanket temperature is reduced compared to last year, previously teams use to use the heat generated by brake disc to channel it to the inner walls of wheel now it is not allowed and tyre’s are running at higher pressure.
Cause of proposing, since these are ground effect cars, as the downforce generated by floor increases car squats more creating a choking at the centre bib area not allowing much air to flow then suddenly car losses it’s downforce then car regains its ride height, this cycle repeats downforce creation and choking hence we see that oscillatory movement.
This year either Charles or Max has to be world champion 😇
I would absolutely love to see my man Sergio become champion. He is so underrated but such a good driver. Plus he deserves it after becoming the Mexican minister of defense against Lewis in Abu Dhabi
There is a lot of hype around the verstappen-charles battle at the moment, i just hope that this rivalry continues through the end of the season and charles getting the title
I’d without a doubt, want Charles to win. His story is what sports and formula 1 is all about. He’s quite literally the prodigal son
While it's not likely, K-mag winning would be epic. What a story that would be a team on the backfoot all of last year, a driver who wasn't even in F1 and didn't know he would have a seat this year coming in and winning the whole thing. It's almost impossible to hate on K-mag and HAAS but Im American so likely biased.
Personally I would love to see one of the ferrari boys as world championship winner this year. But I think most of us agree that Mick would be a dream to see win the championship
I'm counting on Alonzo for surprise results...heck yeah it would be cool if he pulled off another title..it would be a true testament to the work of redesigning 22s car was a success
If Leclerc can scrap the mistakes, I'd love to see him on top
I would to see Checo winning the champion😊😝 it would be amazing and also an usual thing for F1. Regards from Budapest dear Nico! 🇭🇺🇻🇪
I would love to see George Russell as this years World Champion. After he moved to the mercedes petronas amg team you could see a how good he actually is. Sometimes he was faster than Hamilton at the pre test.
Which simulator is Nico using?
I would love to see Max Verstappen win, just so that everyone can "forget" the controversy and say that he is a genuine world champion
He is a genuine world champ, he didnt just win off abu dhabi
I would like to see either Leclerc, or Sainz. Leclerc really showed how strong he was, when he won at Baku, days after he lost he's dad. And he is constantly showing the world, that he needs a good car and he can take controll of everything.
I would love to see Hamilton rising from the ashes. He deserved the title last year and for me it would be amazing that one of the more disappointing cars improving… Hamilton particularly because even though he has the best stats ever, so many only attribute it to his cars. If not, one of the “number 2” drivers, Carlos or Checo.
Charles Leclerc, Ferrari is charging which is fun to see and Charles is one of the competitive but fair sportsmen on the grid.
Carlos Sainz Jr. to be champion in 2022. His dad is a World Rally champion, so how cool would that be? You gotta like a father son World Champions duo!
Charles’ story in F1 and the history of the Scuderia make him a compelling title contender. I would love to see him win that title in red.
My personal bet is that for k mag to win, I mean it would be so wholesome and everybody would be happy for him
daniel ric whole aus would go crazy for weeks
Our lovely "just an inchident" guy
Oh boy! Our champion is back! Thanks Nico! Great analysis as always.
I know it doesn't seem in the cards this year, but I'd still love to see Danny Ric as champion. He always makes me smile and I think he's due. I was hoping this new formula would be nicer to Mclaren.
Last year this would've been a joke, but seeing KMag win this year would be one of the coolest comeback stories ever. Haas has clearly showed that they're in the game this year, and though unlikely, I'd love to see them bounce back from the terrible past couple years.
Thank you Nico for a super channel. As a dane i would love to see KMAG as world champion :-) He has improved enormously and i think he deserves it.
Riccardo or verstapen, and may be a 1/2 finish for them. I like that pair.
Also thank you for your breakdown of tracks, it really helps and ive improved my times a lot. Monaco is my favourite
Good race but they have to be disappointed the lengthened back straight wasn’t better for overtaking. Probably was due to the left at the end of it being a high speed corner.
Been a fan of Schumi and Ferrari since I was a kid. Definitely rooting for Charles to win this year's championship.
Fernanodo Alonso, definitely.
