Awesome. This CoolSpeed mini is a game changer in our industry. The good part of this unit is that you can rebuild and change the bearings and turbine in minutes. And the cost is under $40. Literally unscrew the cap, drop the new set of bearings and turbine! And tight the cap. That’s it. You are ready to go. And the dynamic runout is less than 4microns. I cover the Southeast 10 states for WTO, the German manufacture of this units. So if you need more information let me know.

Why does your spindle is turning? Locking issues?

what software are you using? We use Fusion360 and years ago when we did a spindle speeder I couldn't find a way to have the machine run with the spindle off, it looks like you're running the spindle very slowly to 'trick' it.
Still liking it? Seems hard to beat for the price if you're running small tools with a long cycle, no sense in wearing out the spindle

    How much did that cost?

The starter kit was around 1500USD which includes a pressure gauge that will determine the RPM of the Speeder. In my Haas with high pressure TSC I get around 58k RPM and about 200w of power. Which for small tools no bigger than 3mm or 3/32" works awesome. It Increases my feed by almost 4x. I am primarily using this tool for finish 3d surfacing which takes my operation time from 10 minutes to a little under 3 minutes.

@@ErnestDuarte could you not run the spindle at 12k rpm and increase the tool rpm to 70k?

@@ipadize Couldn't you hold the part horizontal and side mill it? Very cool piece of equipment though!!

@@ErnestDuarte you said high pressure TSC, are you talking about the 300 or 1000 psi TSC system? I'm looking at getting one of these for our VM3 with a 300 psi TSC system but after looking at their charts I'm not sure it'll do much.

@@euclidmachineanddesignllc704 Yeah you need 1k TSC and even that with is a little weak with the Haas high pressure pump because of flow rate. We run blaster on another machine and it works much better. That runs 1k @ 5.7gpm.
