Beauty bat. I played hardball from age 5-27. I played senior men’s league from 24-27. The last two years we had to use wood only bats. It made the game more enjoyable and I’ll bet saved a lot of injuries from the velocity of the ball being hit off an aluminum or composite bat. It humbled some heavy hitters who were used to blasting out home runs with every swing. I have to admit now that I’ve seen the differences between both sides, the wood bats bring the game back to what I consider pure baseball. It was fun to hit with aluminum and composite bats for sure, just witnessed many injuries. ✌🏼
