- What does a gaping hole in my ceiling have to do with tolerating?
It’s amazing how addressing little (or big!) things we’ve been tolerating can change your outlook and actually increase your energy level.
I’m going to tell you all about it :)
We discuss:
Acknowledging and addressing our feelings instead of trying to suppress them.
What are you tolerating and what effect is it having?
Breaking up large tasks into smaller chunks to increase productivity

I feel like I am drowning!!!!!!!! I have literally thousands of "little things" everywhere!
Are completely can relate to that LOL
Can you make a list of the top ten most annoying things? Pick one thing and do it by, say the end of the week.
I had heard you mention this in the past. It was a great motivator. It hasn't been so much about decluttering as making small repairs, replacing worn out things, or painting a room.
I avoid asking my husband to finish the house repair projects he has started. Master shower has been in disarray for over 20 years....the list goes on. I AM TIRED OF THE CHAOS THIS BRINGS TO MY BRAIN!
You might try to repair it yourself. If you bring out the tools, drop cloth, buy whatever is required (caulk, mortar, etc) and absolutely look like you're about to do it, he'll probably take the tools out of your hands and do it. You could take another tack and start interviewing contractors.
I know that I cant get it all done at once; in a day or a week or a month; like the Saving Nemo movie; stay calm and just keep swimming, swimming
Decide on purpose" and" deal with it", pretend you are not mad", suppress our feelings". My "take away" definitely from the class. Thank you so much!
worked on clearing off the dresser in the spare bedroom/my office as I listened to this
It was meant for me to see you especially today! YES!
I was getting into my car to go to work (to pick up my client) when I looked once again at my fogged up (on the inside) windshield and having continually postponed getting a defog cloth, I just grabbed a napkin from the console and wiped it clean...about 90%. WOW, it looks good. I can see out the window without feeling like I'm in a winter storm!
I literally have a small hole in our ceiling too. 😂 and we also need to work on a painting project.
The kitchen faucet drips.
I am right there now In my life. I have a lot of projects in the home since retiring. My husband is a neat freak all his life. He is constantly on me about cleaning the attic. I know I need to , but, what do I do with all this STUFF?😳😳😳. Yes, it does affect you greatly!
Loved every minute of it!
I’m supposed to take a weekly shot for diabetes that is refrigerated and my frig is so crammed full I cant even find it--so frustrating -I need to pull it all out and trash-my husband wants to keep all food forever-
Bathroom repair , scattering laundry
I tolerated the 'little' thing
mold spot above the toilet but I am not allowed to ask the 40 yr old children to spray it with Kiltz.
You do it!! Easy
Husband....
