Thanks for another look at the building process. I love how Alexei is willing to share bits of the building process like this, where other manufacturers would either be too secretive or too scared to show. I totally admire his dedication to his craft, and I love that you both document it for dreamers like me to watch. Thanks!
I don’t think it’s ever been done before ! Thx NautiGuys for making this documentary series on how a boat is built. Not just any boat but a high end explorer Yatch.
Rico, I enjoyed your segment on the piping vs hoses. I'd like to see more segments from you. I also liked Victoria's explanation of safety & comfort vs space.
@@NautiGuys Also, not sure if this is feasible or not... They make color changing water fountains for pools that make a perfect arch of water ,with no spray, that carries light beautifully! Could you use the ocean as a water source and send streams of light across the dance floor and back into the ocean? Also, maybe a cold water fountain outside near the dance floor? Gotta stay hydrated. Can't wait to see her in the water!!!
@@Chuckles.. In the 2-part episode(s) they did on the 77, Alexi talked about some electrical advancements Bering planned on making to upcoming ships. I'm hoping team Nauti was able to incorporate lots of new tech on board the 75!? 🤯
More and more impressed. I really like that Bering has no issue showing what is going on during the build process. Actually, they are proud to show everything. Instead of hoping something won't happen, they are preparing for it. After all, be a chunk of ice in arctic cruising, an unmarked rock in tropical cruising, or a mid ocean shipping container. Stuff happens. Cool stuff.
Bering builds their boats to ship standards and using metal pipes instead of hoses is the mark of a great builder. They could save money, but 10 years from now, you would have very costly repairs. Your boat will last for many years with a minimum of problems thanks to the high standards Bering uses. Great video and I like you guys comments about safety and how metal pipes are so much better than hoses.
As a structural engineer I really appreciate seeing everything that you can show us about your ship. I will never be on as many different ships and boats as you so your opinions on safety, functionality, and attractiveness, are so very valuable. Your actions are also very valuable too. Buying a Bearing Yacht and preparing and showing these videos of your ship’s building process and progress are actions that are awesome. Having Alexei Mikhailov describe and show his ship building philosophy is wonderful addition to your videos, too. Thank you!
WOW! I actually understand what Rico is talking about with the hose and piping. I used to be a fluid systems engineer for a motorsports company. We did some stuff for an offshore oil drilling company for a demonstration rig and the quality we had to attain was out of this world.
14:10 For a great number of things in life, I'll take function over form if the job can still be accomplished effectively. One of the wonderful aspects of a Bering build is that they meld form AND function into one beautiful creation.
Makes you realise how much goes behind the "pretty bits" to give the boat plenty of safety and comfort. Parts that only the boatyards mechanic will see and not the owner and their guests. Good video thanks to Alexis and Nautiguys.
Thank you so much Rico and Victoria for bringing Alexi and Bearings processes to us in your videos. I will purchase a Bearing 75 vessel when all the chips fall in the right order and I purchase my home on the water. I also really admire and trust Alexi !
Totally agree! Safety is not negotiable! Bering -- Safety and Silence -- a dream coupling! Love taking a break from Saturday morning chores to have some time with you three!

Extremely interesting look into what makes Bering such a high quality ship. Alexi is an amazing example of what someone running a company should be like. I doubt the head of most companies is this hands on about everything going into the making of their product.
The 121 is a fantastic design, we definitely need a tour of it when its finished, again the 3d renders can only give you a small taste of its size. Now that we see the actual yacht ... ok it is massive!

The choice of hoses versus pipes explains both costs and quality. This video helped clarify what the trade offs actually are. Now the real challenge is understanding what a brokerage boat actually offers.
Such an informative episode guys - thank you. SO nailed it Victoria, Safety is and should be number one priority; so what if a door is narrower - better that than sinking! Alexi is so good and passionate explaining the whys and hows of all Bering construction. Love it!

Victoria says it very well, "Explorer yacht vs. island/coastal cruiser". Just a small addition to the hose topic, OdorSafe Plus hoses fare the best when it comes to odor permeation, however they come with the drawback that they are stiffer and harder to work with than most commercially available hose materials. But if your boat is big enough they are a good compromise when compared to straight plumbing! :)
I agree with you about the safety standards. For those who don't think that the forward watertight bulkhead is worth it, I hope you enjoy your more open and spacious boat while you are drowning. 😋
Oh hey, I always love your guises videos. Why don't you do a video on the different models that bearing offers. Lucky number bingo! While 14 isn't exactly my lucky number, it is in my lucky number universe. The story is much too long, but 43 (4+3=7) plays a part. All multiples of 7 fit in my lucky number world. Seven and 49 (7 squared) are the twin pentacles.
I can't wait for next week.
Rico’s lucky number is 7 😝
What is the finish date? How long has it been under construction?
