So glad you got to take Momo to Japan!!!!! I can’t imagine leaving my doggos behind. I’m sorry you had that bad experience with that guy but without saying it directly, you’ve hit a topic I think many of us in the US feel and see every day - things are not good just now. Wish you and the family (including Momo) the absolute best!!!
I love the fact, that you always play awesome blues in your videos. Very exciting to see what your new life will bring, both the house and the new bonsai trees to come. All the very best to you and your family and Momo.
Hey Bjorn I love the way you took care of the transfer for your dog. It makes me realize how important he is to you. I would have loved to have spared you the last experience at the hotel. Shame on the aggressive man - who knows what worries he had on his mind. But it still makes me sad to hear something like that. The shots and the way you tell the story is impressive every time. Once again, a big thank you for allowing us to be part of it. I wish you all the best! Greetings, Sebastian
All the best to you and your family as you start a new phase in your familys life. Bonsai in the southeast wont be the same with out you. Look forward to seeing your new adventures on UA-cam and how momo adapts to live in Japan.
Bjorn, I was at Eisei-en in Mt. Juliet when you had your grand opening, taking pictures of the garden and the trees and you and the family (I'd worked with your parents in Knoxville until a few years previous). I have to say I got a little choked up over the fade-out shot of the front gate. Truly the end of an era, but I look forward to seeing you build up the garden in Kyoto. All the best!
Thank You for bringing us along on this journey!!! I'm sure your daughter was happy to see Momo again! Most people don't trust the government...with good reason.
Momo is just adorable, and beautiful ❤. And she looks like how a German Shepherd should look like. Wish you all good luck in Kyoto. Greetings from Kenneth in Norway.
Hey, just came across your channel today. Very informative! Enjoy your new life back in Kyoto. Who knows... if things continue down this current path of insanity in the States, I may move back to Tokyo myself! Cheers.
I am so happy for you and Momo and the family making this exciting new chapter in your lives a reality. It's bittersweet but so awesome. It's too bad I never got to make it up to Nashville before the move, but I'll see you in Kyoto one day. Japan is a bucket-list item for me and I will make it happen. And just one last comment: your storytelling, filming, editing, and color grading skills have improved tremendously. Don't ever stop creating, man. You crush it. Best of luck!
Wow, hearing that final encounter at the hotel made me exceptionally disappointed. It's so frustrating that so many people want to immediately jump to violence and threats for even the most minor of incidents. I'm sorry that happened :(
Still new to Bonsai and your Channel, just love story of your journey, pets are Family. If a friendly dog bumps against me, I will pet him/her if I'm allowed. But I see from the video, she is well loved and trained. Good luck and best of wishes or your family's new life journey.
Thank you for bringing us along your journey with you and your family. I live vicariously through you along the way! I agree that this country has moved in a negative way and would gladly move to Canada if I could, but I'm 73, retired and disabled. Not such a great resumé …
Having been following your adventures in and out of US feels kind of bitter sweet to watch this step you are taking, but in the other way around, lots of expectations and fingers crossed for you and your family! From Portugal, I will keep following your adventures and keep learning bonsai and perseverance with you! Cheers!
Momo-chan is adorable! It was great to meet you at Kokufu-ten this year Bjorn! Hopefully, I get the chance to visit you and Momo in Kyoto at some point.
So excited for you, but super sad for me 😢 we in Nashville have lost a treasure and I will miss visiting your incredible nursery. Hopefully a visit to Kyoto is in my future!
Bjorn thank you very much for sharing this beautiful video! Momo is simply wonderful! I wish you and your family all the best in Japan...i admire you so much for your great professionalism and technique! 👏👏👏👏🫶
Enhorabuena por todo viaje y sobre todo que momo a llegado en perfectas condiciones!!!!el vídeo un placer!!! sigue así como siempre y aquí estamos esperando nuevas noticias!!!un saludo desde valencia (España).😊
As always your videos are excellent, we will always be here supporting you. I hope that by 2025 you will be ready to welcome us to your new school in Kyoto. Mauricio.
Bitter sweet video for me but inspirational!!! I'll been watching you and learning a lot with your videos. I wish you, your family and Momo a beautiful life there in Kyoto and Success on your new Eisei-en Kyoto. Blessings from PUERTO RICO!!! Take Care!!! ✊✊✊💥💥💥
Always a pleasure to watch your superb storytelling Bjorn! Thank you for sharing this journey, was very interesting to see different parts of America. How rude of that guy with the taser what the heck!? 🤯
I would like to push a like button for a hundred times. The preparation for Momo to move to Japan was incredibly well prepared. The love between human and dog. Idk how you managed to be so calmed with that man and the taser. Great job.
I think these personal videos are almost better than the bonsai videos :) I've done that drive on the 40 from Vegas to just outside of Charlotte... though I had three dogs, not one, and was heading in the opposite direction. :) Glad to see you settled back in Japan. Sorry you had a bad experience in LA on your way out... but hey, it's LA.
That comment about the guy with the tazer made me feel so sad.. Heartbreaking this is how things have ended up.. Glad you are home safe and reunited with your family ❤
I can tell from the video you are sad to leave America behind, what a weird situation in the hotel lobby... thing is people like that you absolutely can't reason with them and could have a gun so glad it didn't escalate. Bittersweet leaving America but I'm sure when you get everything settled in Japan you will love it. Keep the videos coming!
Man, just seeing your potroom, I recall the video where you built it. Such a dificult move. WIshing you lots of luck in starting back up in Kyoto. I hope to drop in at some point. ❤
It’s sad when you look at the Usa as a whole. We are viewed as a very lazy rude people from other countries everything from our work ethic to our eating habits the food we eat. And our attitudes. We are not a very pleasant country. The amount of drugs and addiction here is through the roof. I’m not saying Japan doesn’t have drugs but there is not a problem like here in the USA. With drugs or theft I would say Japan is a much better place to live and raise a family.
Regretfully I just discovered you after looking up native american trees to bonsai... wish that happened a few years earlier. Best of luck to you and your family in Kyoto, no doubt you will do well!
Sad to see you go... but I am happy for your new beginning in Kyoto.
I have to say the quality of these videos is insane, the shots, the music, everything, it's just a pleasure to watch !
I enjoy these videos very much. Please don't stop. You are a great storyteller, Bjorn! Greetings from Norway.

Good luck Bjorn!
I would be honored to have Momo bump into me in a hotel lobby
I’d stop and give her a hug! (And maybe Bjorn too)
Americans have an amazing right to self defense, why everyone doesn't make sure of that is beyond me..
Wishing you and the family all the best for the next chapter in your life buddy
Congrats on bringing your complete family to Japan!
American Bonsai Pro. Chinese Wife. German Dog. Moves to Kyoto. Love it.
swedish name :) just to put one more
It’s such a bummer that part of the reason you’re leaving is the state of our country. But I get it, wife, kid, business. Best of luck Bjorn!
I love the fact, that you always play awesome blues in your videos. Very exciting to see what your new life will bring, both the house and the new bonsai trees to come. All the very best to you and your family and Momo.

Much luck an respect to that move.
My heart is broken that I didn’t have the opportunity to visit your garden while you where here. I wish you only the very best in Kyoto.
Good for you man, really happy for you and your family to get to live in one of the most wonderful country in the world

Really really great job and and amazing trip with your beautiful dog. Best wishes for you and your family 🎉
Yeah, welcome to LA; my brother lives there; he has encounters like that often. It's like a different country. Especially from the south
10:10 lol my first thought was that the Grand Canyon area (and Western US) would be like a giant terrarium to a bonsai enthusiast.
Un grand merci à vous pour cette vidéo!
Nice JB Notches vibe on the Grand Canyon segment. Best to you and the fam in Kyoto & thanks for a great 10 years of bonsai work here!
Sorry to hear about your experience in the hotel with Momo... 😪
Sorry about the bad experience you had here in LA..
Wait until you see the Grand Canyon. It is beyond awe inspiring. Enjoy.

People 🤷♂️
Good luck 👊
All the best to you and your Family!😊
Glad to see you're not leaving the furry family member back in the States. It happens all too often. :)
I would like to push a like button for a hundred times. The preparation for Momo to move to Japan was incredibly well prepared. The love between human and dog. Idk how you managed to be so calmed with that man and the taser. Great job.
Lo mas brutal de tus videos es la dimensión humana que todo tiene. Gracias por esa humanidad. Un abrazo.

Glad you are home safe and reunited with your family ❤
Enjoy watching this video in every story, the steps for taking the video are very inspiring and fun to watch, greetings from Indonesia 🙏

Tuyệt vời 👍
Trees: 1
Grand Canyon: 0
Best of luck with the next adventure Bjorn.
Dude had to be on drugs to confront a 6’6” man and his German shepherd for bumping into him
