A dog park, dogs interact. That german shepherd bit, period!! Stop blaming the pitbull when another dog got aggressive. If that pitbull had no control, it would have attacked back, and a fight would be the end result. If the pitbull did that they would be getting so much heat but because it was another breed its still the pitbulls fault. Typical!!!
Hey jack ass do you know anything about dog body language. That pit wasn't playing once. Was sizing everyone up. And since a nigga had the dog bc he wanted it for looks and not companionship. He didn't know how to control his dog being the aggressor. He didn't call that dog back correctly once. Just mumbling like a fucking rap intro. All yall gotta check yourself before looming at a German and saying it's always their fault.
Well, first, that's not a full blooded GS. It's mixed with something. I had 9 of them. Secondly, to be real about it, the Pitt approached and kept approaching. Some dogs are protective of their owners and their personal space. Pitt is super "curious". It's a dog park. They fight.
@@NBFEJay When your dog keeps running up on people, their dog reacts. Your dog left then ran back and got on the dogs side. She was probably playing or just being curious, but the other dog took it as “you’re in my space”. That was a warning. I used to train German Shepards. Just have to be mindful. You have a beautiful Pitt.
The shepherd dog didn't put up with the pittie's dominant behaviour. Pit was all turf marking, dominant body language and no play. His owner is oblivious about properly owning a dog.
It's kind of unfair, because as a dog owner you know that the child is raised by the whole pack. I am very thankful when civilized dogs are correcting my dog. It's a blessing. The way, the owner handles the correction, shows that he knows a bit about dogs. He does not pity his dog, nor gets aroused or excited. He sees it as a normal thing and constantly interacts with the dog to signal what is appropriate and what not. I would say, that he does a good job and is more in the average 30 percent of dog owners.
Took me a few years to get mine to come, heel and lay down especially when excited. So ya if you don’t know how to control them don’t let them off leash. Probably shouldn’t even have them in there on leash if they won’t listen. If I woulda raised my voice to Bloo like he did to his Bloo would have immediately laid down and stopped everything. Needs some more training
as an owner who doesn't care what you think, why take a dog to an off leash dog park to have it attached to your hip, it's literally sick you guys think a dog should be a robot.
@@NBFEJay no, but if your dog can’t fucking listen when told to come back or stay in a certain area ESPECIALLY AROUND OTHER DOGS you need to keep them on a leash.
Having a pitbull who doesn't listen to his owner show how irresponsible the owner is. Untrained dogs like this one can be so dangerous. Also put a collar atleast.
One of my pet peeves is dog owners who sit back amd watch tension building between dogs to the point where it's clear there might be a fight and have the "lol its ok they'll be fine" attitude and then their dogs start fighting and the owner is like "wow I didn't see THAT coming!!"
Yea but this jackass knows what he's doing. He has posted multiple vids like this. He pleads with his dumbass dog to obey. His low iQ dog says " FU BITCH BOI"

Many comments in here are down right stupid if you think that pitty and it’s owner weren’t at fault in this. The pitty didn’t listen to a single command the owner gave and it tried to dominate every dog it came into contact with. Watch the tail of the pitty when another dog comes near him, it’s straight up in the air every time. That’s dominance and needs to be curbed by the owner by establishing himself as the alpha. If he doesn’t do it, that pitty will never listen to him. The German shepherd didn’t attack unprovoked, the pitty tried to dominate it, watch the tail, and the gsd simply wasn’t having any of it and chased it off.
The dog, a very powerful bully breed, doesn’t listen to its owner, it’s not neutered and without any collar or harness that mães it easier for you to leash your dog and go, clearly a dominant dog, the German Shepherd just put him in his place

Yeah pit bulls really are a breed that need to be weeded out and just not a thing anymore. There’s more than enough data especially with video that shows how they aren’t just aggressive but the certain type of chaotic/sporadic aggressive that makes any other breed that’s more assertive and capable to step in. Combined with the typical person that owns a pit bull, it just is a problem and not appropriate really to bring that breed around other people or dogs
The pit is going around with its tail in the air, marking everywhere, trying to dominate the other dogs. Owner has no control. The GSD was doing what the owner should have been doing. Seems like a very inexperien owner with a very strong dog. Bad combination.
He was not dominating the other dogs! Just because the hair was up doesn’t mean he wanted to fight! If he did he would’ve fought the German Shepard back or even attacked first! I’m not here to argue but just to debate! You can say the gsd was being dominate when he was playing with the small black in the beginning in the gsd was in the way
Also non fixed dogs mark there territory all the time at my dog park and tries to hump everybody! I got videos of someone’s fixed husky humping my non fixed American Bully
@@MJBCC2014 if you watch in slow Mo at 5:06 on .25 playback speed, you can see that the pit put his head on the GSDs back. This is a typical sign of challenge. It's basically the pit saying I can do whatever I want to you, what are you going to do about it? That's why the gsd snaps back and says fuck off I don't like it. Not trying to blame anyone, but please be aware of dog language. At the beginning the pit was being rude, even the owner noticed and called the dog and moves him away.
A I definitely know dog language! So try again with that assumption. That probably was his first time at the dog park and hasn’t figured it out! Why wasn’t his hair or tail standing up when he put his head on his back? His head didn’t even touch his back before the gsd attacked. We know dang well that any pitbull that is trying to be dominant would’ve been attacked, along with some barking and definitely fought back.
@@MJBCC2014 ofc, not only ignorant but unwilling to take critisim. It's hard to tell if the pits hair was due to the distance, but it's not uncommon for it to not be. You can see that the pit was bugging the gsd before the camera filmed it, that's why the other owner was trying to seperate them. Regardless head doesn't have to fully rest, ridge doesn't have to be up. It's clear his behaviour was rude and assertive, and the gsd wasn't going to be a pushover, that's why the gsd attacked back. Most fights don't involve barking, can't bark and bite at the same time. Not sure what kind of fights you've been seeing.
The dog wasn’t really doing shit wrong this is how dogs interact by sniffing each other you might expect that to happen when you bring your dog to a “ Listless dog park” the German shepherd wasn’t interested so that’s what happened hence the pit’s owner didn’t freak out about it… these situations are not even as close as bad as it looks like to us.
@@Mvpliberty so the pit was putting his head over the shoulders of the other dog, a precursor to mounting or putting a paw on them. All of three of theses actions show dominance. The german shepard warned once, but when pit ignored warning he got a severe reprimand. The pit was being pushy and rude and dominant. I love pits, but this pit's behaviour was asking for it with the shepard.
@@snowyg357 And the pit in this video is a puppy, dogs do that, especially puppies, when they dont exactly know yet how to play. Or yes it can be dominance. I think what happened in this video is fine on both sides, the pitty wanted to play, it got to close, the Sheppard told it off. No real fight
There is no alpha! The gsd just tells in THIS situation that he is annoyed. Leadership or dominance is a relationship between two individuals. It develops over time and is always measured out of agonistic/antagonistic behavior in the way how often submissive signs are shown to one individual dog. It has nothing to do with showing aggression. So this gsd and the other dog in the video have no relationship, so there can be no leader or "alpha".
Shepard’s are bitches I worked in the field and came across hundreds of Shepard’s a 1000 mile stare and walk towards them they run 99% percent of the time . The 1% would be a police trained Shepard . Those fuckers are nuts and a 1000 mile stare won’t work 😂😂😂😂😂

So many red flags. Intact fighting breed at a "dog park" smorgasbord. No collar. No training. Disrespectful behavior. Constantly marking. Hackles up. Stiff posture. Raised tail. Chasing. Sniffing faces not butts. The German Shepherd merely corrected an unruly dog. The cherry ontop is the owner making excuses such as "he's just a puppy..." LOL classic.
Its a bully not an apbt.. American Pitbull Terriers don't run from fights that's what they love.. They want to have a challenge.. My dog bullseye is a house dog which also an apbt listens to all of our commands and everything a very obedient dog. And also living 16 years of my life with apbts around me so I think I know a lot about pitbulls then a lot of people. No wonder they get the title the most misunderstood next to there name
I've owned a few german shepherds. What many may not realize is that if any person or dog threatens their owner, they will protect without question. It is in them. The one I have now is a female. Similar situation on a trail. Dog off leash. Owner had no control. Agressed toward me. She went in attack mode. Normally she's extremely friendly toward animals and people. A shepherd will avoid conflict, but defend when necessary. Best breed ever, that is my opinion.
It's a nonsense comment, you just wish to big up GS. I have owned and trained many dogs, including german shepherds, and I currently own a rottweiler. GS are amazing working dogs, but not a single one 'have an instinct to protect without question'. It's a made up story. They are not bred to be natural protectors but for different things, only few breeds are bred for protection (although you can train any dog for protection) and even they need special training to do it. Dobermans are closest to natural protectors, and they can develop strongest bond with an owner. GS's are amazing dogs but not in that regard, neither they develop some special bond with the owner, regardless of your made up story. They might develop a habit to be protective due to their territorial instincts but she did not 'defend you' because of you but because of other things. People just like to feed their agenda and big up the breed they own. The truth is, there is no 'best breed'. As I said, you wont find a better dog for protection than doberman/rottweiler, better dog for glove work than malinois, better dog for drug detection than labrador/beagle, and gs is just jack of all trades and therefore so popular.
I hear you giving the dog commands, but he's ignoring you. Hey, come here, then he runs off. You cannot let these dogs get away with anything. If you give a command demand it!! Make them follow through!! Everytime a command is given. Not following through with a command is not good for you or the dog.
I tell everyone , when you say anything you follow through, you come or i come get you. When we are at the park , if i say safe , you come between my legs , If i say follow me , i mean follow me . I dont mean when you feel like it. Those commands are for her safety i cant protect her if she doesn’t let me .
Pitbull or not all dogs are aggressive and able to bite or attack, it's just some people train their dogs to specifically fight and they use pitbulls because pitbulls have lock jaw and they're strong. It's not the dogs fault, this guy was looking for trouble and was the one trying to get his dog to fight.
@@LamonXX Untrained large breed with zero recall. Not wearing a collar and just goes bowling up to other dogs. Recipe for disaster and a burden to the other dog owners there
No, the GSD was NOT "showing who the boss is". If he was, the fight would've happened waaay before it did. He's just irritated that the pitbull kept invading his personal space and staring at him with a bossy attitude. He gave the pitbull 3 chances, but the pitbull just wouldn't quit, so he had to do what had to be done - a correction.
A dog park is NOT the place where dogs should be “working it out” with each other with aggression. It is a place where totally friendly, non aggressive dogs should be able to play without any dog acting aggressive. Owners like this pit bull owner have ruined dog parks for me.
Margaret I think you r a bit too soft and loose everything to quickly I go with my other GSD in the dog park everyday 3 times a day and the dogs have a play and sometimes a rough play That is completely fine but sometimes dog owners aswell as dogs should know their limits
His owner doesn't know what he is doing or how to properly train, sure grabbing scruff may show dominance over the dog and may help with training but if you do that with the wrong dog it can turn bad. He should have a collar on him and a leash available

It is the pits OWNERS fault. Before you take your dog to a OFF LEASH park, especially dogs like pits.. your recall game must be superb. I noticed in the video how many times you called him but he doesn't even notice you. You're very lucky that German Shepard was trained and obeyed its master. If it was as much trained as your pit was, then it would've been a lot worse. TRAIN YOUR DOG OR KEEP HIM ON LEASH. He can be the world's friendliest dog, but other dogs who don't know him and like their space, will not care less. Training is VERY important. Recalling is among one of the first things you should train your dog to do. It will save people and other dogs, and most importantly YOUR dog.

Yeah, that shepherd didn't attack. He checked the pit cause he clearly gave the pit a warning that's why his owner was getting onto him and so then he walked away and the pit ran up on him again and got in to close to his throat and so the shepherd chased him off. The pit bull was testing his boundaries and received his answer. And you're right about one thing. The pit knows when to run. There's a reason the police and military prefer shepherds and their known to be the best guard dogs. Its not about bite force or any one thing. The german shepherd stats are the most well rounded. Intelligent, loyal, stamina, agility, bite force, power, and size. They're not lacking in anything. Most cases an average shepherd would beat an average pit. Not every time, and it definitely wouldn't be a one-sided fight, but overall, the shepherd is a better breed.
Hilarious. He lets his dog challenge and size up every dog in the park, let's him put his piss mark everywhere. Shepherd finally has enough of him and he learns his manners. That's how the dog park is supposed to work.

Just don’t hate on the pitbull. I’m not sure if your trying to hate on pitbulls, but to me it sounds like it. Just to put this out there, there is evidence that German Shepard’s are more vicious than pitbulls. Pitbulls were originally bred to be nanny dogs and be soft and kind, they are. German Shepard’s, not hating on them or anything, were bred to be tough and able to fight. No hate to any dog breed, I am just saying Pitbulls are misunderstood :)

My brother has a gorgeous Pit/Choc Lab mix and he's the sweetest dog. Shepards were bred to be more vicious, so obviously, statistics would point to them being higher on the scale. Both dogs were in the wrong. The Pit went up aggressively trying to be dominant, the Shepard responded in a less than adequate way. They should've been trained to act otherwise by now.
@Grande1124 you’re joking right? I’ve worked with dogs for 8 years at a dog daycare. I’ve been bitten by 3 GSDs broken up at least 10 fights with GSDs. Wanna know how many alterations i’ve had with pitbulls? None.

Hey Sebastian! I had to rewatch the beginning of this video to refresh my memory. This dog looks to be more like a Corsican than a Pit. But either way, they would ultimately dominate a GSD, unfortunately. I currently have a Malanois (pronounced Malanwah), and with her razor sharp teeth combined with her surreal intelligence may actually have a chance, especially with her athleticism. This video is exhibit 'A' of why I do not frequent dog parks. Too any owners are not in control of their dogs, irrespective of the breed. Not sure why the other dog lovers/owners allowed this dangerous and unacceptable behavior of both dog and owner to continue unchecked. I help people all of the time with their dogs. I Caesar Milan would say "I rehabilitate dogs, and train their owners." Woof! 🐾
I'm gonna disagree with you on this the gsd owner had no full control of its dog because the pit that is still a puppy and that likes to play showed it's dominance towards the gsd and then the gsd attacked because it felt threatened
I some times wonder if people know how wolf packs work just looks like a mature dog teaching a younger dog that there's ways to initiate play and where he stands, dog fights happen but this was a correction not a fight
Preston Miller on everything! I GREW up with German Shepherds all of my life. This dumb ass dog was literally acting dominant to every dog he came in contact with, well a German Shepherd is a pack dog, there not going for that, especially the German Shepherd giving this dog 2 other chances before he actually bit the pit bull, he was simply correcting this pit bull. There are a lot of pit bull owners doing that, or maybe there is something wrong in the head with many pit bulls. Although, I think this pit bull can be corrected.

Notice how the German Shepherd stopped once the pitbull ran off and came back to its owner when called. If it was the pitbull attacking the German Shepherd, it wouldn't stop or listen to its owner. German Shepherd are intelligent dogs bred to do actual work while pitbulls were bred for fighting and blood sports.
Fighting takes intelligence actually. And just because a dog comes back when you call it, does not mean that its intelligent it means that it is submissive and very easily controlled. pit Bulls are warriors, and also more stubborn by nature. Combined with the typical person that owns a pit bull, it just is a problem and not appropriate really to bring that breed around other people or dogs
yup great correction from the german shepherd
The pit is going around with its tail in the air, marking everywhere, trying to dominate the other dogs. Owner has no control. The GSD was doing what the owner should have been doing. Seems like a very inexperien owner with a very strong dog. Bad combination.
He was not dominating the other dogs! Just because the hair was up doesn’t mean he wanted to fight! If he did he would’ve fought the German Shepard back or even attacked first! I’m not here to argue but just to debate! You can say the gsd was being dominate when he was playing with the small black in the beginning in the gsd was in the way

Not sure what kind of fights you've been seeing.

exactly! pitty's tail went from rock hard to between the legs real fast.

There is no alpha! The gsd just tells in THIS situation that he is annoyed. Leadership or dominance is a relationship between two individuals. It has nothing to do with showing aggression. So this gsd and the other dog in the video have no relationship, so there can be no leader or "alpha".
