My grandfather was Danish, my dad Swedish, my mom German. I lived in 6 European countries before moving to the United States back in 1986, first to Florida, then, in 1991 to California. Back then the USA was the best country on Earth. Big cars, cheap gas, freedom. No SSN needed to participate in daily life. Since then, it all has gone downhill steadily, and the past few years this country has really declined. The government doesn't work for us anymore; they just line their own pockets and micro-manage every aspect of our lives. Cost of living is through the roof! This country has been good to me, and I had a good run, own a beautiful home in one of the nicest retirement areas of California, have a solid retirement fund, and all the toys I ever wanted. Had you told me a few years ago that I'd be leaving the US, even remotely suggested Mexico, I would have laughed you out of the door. Mexico, a poverty struck country with drug cartels and mass murders on a daily basis! Well, so I thought, until the wife and I vacationed in SMA and found out that everything the US media told us about Mexico is wrong, total BS actually! After our first visit, where we found out that Mexico is safe, affordable, has perfect weather year round, a beautiful landscape, super healthy food, and the nicest people, we knew that this was something to look into. And so we did. I'm 66 now, almost 67, my wife just turned 62. We got our Residente Temporal visas and will be doing Canje in a month or two. Then we'll sell our business, our home, and once the money is in the bank, we'll be loading our 2 dogs and some stuff into our Honda Odyssey or Toyota 4Runner that we'll buy specifically for year 1 and drive down to Mexico. We'll explore the country for close to a year to be sure it's for us, long term, and what part of Mexico works best for us, anything from Lago de Chapala to Oxaca. Improving our Spanish skills on a daily basis will be our "job." Thanks to SS and our solid nest egg, we'll be able to live comfortably in Mexico, buy a house outright eventually, and travel 1 or 2 months to other countries every year. After having lived in Europe for 30+ year, in the US for another 30+ years, I'm so ready to experience Mexico for the rest of my life! The American Dream isn't dead; it has moved south to Mexico!
Wow that is awesome! First of all congratulations first and foremost! But I also wanted to say thank you for sharing all that knowledge and insight you provided. To think there are so many people your age who know the same exact thing and yet I have yet to hear someone express it so eloquently as yourself. Thank you so much for sharing that knowledge with all us youngens. It makes us feel better that we are not as crazy as they make us out to sound! Viva Mexico! Thanks again for sharing!
The American dream will always be in the United States. You lived in a Communist state and could have moved to another state. People like you need to stay gone. I have a house in southern Italy but I will not move there i can't have the things I want there.
Look I agree with the term freedom but not democracy for two reasons 1. When Mexico was ruled for 70 years under a single party there was even more freedom. There was zero democracy. But during those times there was freedom even spring breakers would cross to Mexico. Everything changed when "democracy" entered the country because there was more social media exposure. And US started sending out travel bans. But in reality Mexico has always been the same a place for freedom. 2. I don't agree that democracy equals freedom because one you can have a lot of gen z that argue for security over freedom and the second reason is that even if there was real democracy what is your opinion worth over 140 million votes nothing
This video really hit home for me. I relocated to QRoo state almost 4 years ago and people told me I was crazy. Now I'm getting calls with questions about what it takes to get residency status.
That is awesome! Congratulations! It's now our job to help pave the way for all the others who will soon be joining us as the situation keeps deteriorating back home. Thanks for sharing
@@alexdelonge96 How do you know what I was complaining about before 2020? Not that I owe you any explanation but I predicted a non-peaceful transfer of power; which is why I finalized my exit. Oh and I voted for student loan forgiveness…which many people got. 👀Thoughts and prayers to you as you navigate what’s to come.
Dude .. this content is unique annd exactly right! No one else on the internet is calling it so perfectly and so head on! I totally love you man, I'm one of the lucky ones from the US , and is ready to retire there -- and I have enough. But what I want more than anything else is to be considered a good Mexican one day. 🙏❤
Jose, Thank you for trying to help the people and being a straight shooter. My name is Geoff and am from West Central Florida and live on the coast of Southwest Mexico. I am single and speak English and Spanish, have my residency here and have a steady monthy income. Life is very beautiful...but even with all the unfair advantages as Ringo Starr says " It don't come easy " It comes down to HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT !!!!
Amen very well said. The truth is that most people, just don't want it bad enough. It wont be until something gets so bad that it forces them to make the decision. But as you know people just keep on taking it and saying "it's not so bad" until one day its sooooo bad they wished they would have known sooner..... Anyways I could go on and on as you know! Thanks for sharing!
So right brother it's hard out here and getting worse people don't see it but I gotta make our exit plan or seasonal plan. 30 years working for the man
One thing I'd like to tell people watching this channel is... DO IT!!! I know it's hard. It's scary. Either sell or give your stuff away and get that plane ticket! You can get by using your phone to translate Spanish. I'm a dumb guy, and I'm doing it. So can you. Having money to spend in a warm, tropical climate will make you feel so much better. Trust me. 😊
José. You are absolutely right in most of the issues that you are mentioning in this video. Democracy is dying in the USA. We are loosing a lot of our rights. One of the most important is our freedom of speech. They tell us that we have the right to choose our government, but is not truth, you feel persuaded when you openly express your choices. I am an American citizen, but I'm also Mexican citizen, and lately, I have been contemplating about the possibility of going back to Mexico.
We are in the early stages of planning our move. Hubby is 4 years from retirement. I am even younger so We need to find some sort of online gig. I hope politics doesn't keep us from living our best life.😢
Jose thank you so much! After a couple months of considering moving to Mexico, me and my wife and our daughter are shooting to move there next June. The only issue about our plan is now where to get a tourist visa for temporary residency until we are eligible enough to get permanent residency.
That is awesome! Congratulations! You actually get your FMM/Tourist Visa as you enter Mexico. Either at the border or they hand them to you on the plane before you land. You fill it out and give it to the Immigration agent and request 180 days. Eventually you will qualify for Temporary Residency and then Permanent Residency. Good luck with everything!
Absolutely crazy!! Housing prices in metro Mexico are skyrocketing!! Mexican banking has interest rates that are similar to gangster loan sharks from a Sopranos episode!! There are millions of inexpensive homes in the United States.. many communities almost giving homes away!! The difference in US is infrastructure..if you move to a small town in rust belt or rural areas.. housing is cheap, but nothing there.. many communities in the US are without a grocery store..no doctors..no services.. but dirt cheap housing..in Pennsylvania and Michigan, Indiana and Iowa to start.. houses for @$15,000-20,000 or less.. West Virginia..less than 20k.. but again run down community and getting smaller not bigger.. Mexico has opportunities to live in smaller places w like minded people who are not in a village because of blind ambition..go to Tijuana, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey, other large Mexican cities you will be run over just like LA, Phoenix, Dallas, Salt Lake, Nashville.. cities in Mexico are expensive and busy and growing and buzzing w activity.. make sure you spend a few thousand dollars and your time to do in person homework about Mexico and where you are thinking of moving and why. The Mexican stereotype of laid back, sombrero, burro riding dusty, sleeping Mexico are almost gone.. don't get fooled into thinking that Mexico is not ultra ultra ambitious!! Millions of Mexicans and all government want Mexico to progress to be modern.. so you want laid back, cheap and they want thousands of new jobs, new opportunities, new housing, new, new, new! You want them to be inexpensive old school and majority of Mexico wants exactly the opposite
You make great points! I'm actually going to be talking about all this in a future video. The reality is that at this point people understand its expensive and are willing to pay a premium because they know it is mucho better. As you said Mexico is changing and its not a sleepy fishing village to retire too anymore.
Keep in mind the cost of living continues to rise here in Mexico. Really the only things noticeably cheaper are rents / real estate, basic grocery items, and labor. But note that wrt food, it’s only cheaper if you go to the less hygienic markets and buy the lower quality meats and such (shop like a lower income Mexican). Walmart / Costco / Soriana - type stores are just as expensive as the US, and many items are more expensive. Electronics and appliances are at least 50-60% more expensive across the board. Labor is cheap (usually) but you get what you pay for. Auto mechanics take forever unless you go to the pro shops and pay almost as much as you would in the states. The electrician doesn’t show up and doesn’t answer when you call. You take time off to meet them and you get stood up. Dentists may not get it right the first time, and you have to come back two or three times to get your filling or your bridge finally done right or fitted correctly. It’s always something like that. Just endless annoyances with lack of competency, unprofessional behavior, slow, shoddy work, that sort of thing. It’s just part of the culture here and Mexicans all learn to live with it. You have to carefully find that one good dentist, that one reliable mechanic, that one good electrician, that one good plumber, and so on. You find a good one and you hang onto them, because timeliness and competency are NOT something you can take for granted. And many items are just illogically expensive. Why does a $150 kids bike cost $500+ in Mexico, no matter where you buy it? They can’t manufacture bicycles here? Huh? Lots of random things are just inexplicably costly. So it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, and overall not as cheap as the UA-camrs claim.
All great points! Mexico is not for everyone! I agree with you on many of the things you are saying, but overall at least for me it is well worth it simply because of the better quality of life I have out here. Many people feel the same. But you are right it can be frustrating at times, but when I talk to my friends back home in the US these days it is also very surprising to see the same thing happening in the USA these days which makes me wonder if it is something else that is going on. Either way we must all pick our poison, and I would rather deal with Mexico than the US these days. As you said its not all sunshine and rainbows all the time. Thanks for sharing!
@@JoseArteagaTravels Thanks for your response, Jose! I like your channel and have been watching your videos for some time. My reply was just counter balancing the overly rosy descriptions and promises of life in Mexico which similar channels on UA-cam like to propagate. Frankly, most of the popular Mexico channels on YT are blowing sunshine up people's asses (pardon the expression lol). But you've always been realistic with people, which I appreciate! Keep on keepin' it real! 👍
Hello Jose. Fellow miamian here. Ive watchna few other videos and have noticed people get water from jugs? Is it possible to purchase a water filtration system? I don't mind paying for itm I can't imagine having to go get water everyday.
Of course you can get a water filtration system installed! Also the water jugs can be delivered to your front door every week for no charge and they sell them everywhere just in case you run out. Hope that info helps!
What you said and we saw in the video proves that the American dream has relocated. Crafts are sold by happy artists who don’t have a piece of the stock market. But also, they aren’t worried to pay rent a mortgage or make a car payment. Amazon makes more money than all of Mexico combined. The biggest and most successful corporations in the world are in the USA, sadly doing what they want. Black Rock or Black Stone some one argues are the political choices. Both fund/control politics and “good meaning Americans get to contribute to their political party of choice”. The USA is the best place to live if stuff is your way of life because there are great American corporations fabricating and bringing dirt cheap stuff to the USA, all in the name of helping poor nations with “low wages” so they don’t starve to death while natural resources are also taken and “corrupt leaders” most placed by the USA agencies allow it. The bad thing is that corporations got so greedy that now control “the most powerful nations of the world”. The hard working people that drive a brand new car and live in a brand new house work so hard to keep up with the Jone’s. Stressed and unhappy lives because they are slaved to the system. Politicians who know the truth don’t say it, instead lie and blame “immigrants and nations”, the same immigrants that in other generations made America great. Nations aren’t participating in the control of the dollar so BRICS nations are forming and the Petro dollar is losing power. When have you heard politicians talk about these things? Instead blame China, Russia, Iran, Mexico etc. Mexicans love being Mexicans and left in the past for lack of opportunities but if you work in Mexico just like in the USA, money is taken from your paycheck. In Mexico after so many years you have a credit to buy or build a house, as long as you work you don’t have a “big mortgage/stress”. Workers and companies pay a percentage out of every paycheck so you can have access to healthcare etc. Mexicans aren’t seeking to impress anyone so they ride the bus, walk, ride a bike and live a happy lifestyle. The American dream departed from the wrong premise, America is the continent. Mexico is geographically one of the best places in the world due to ecosystems. Access to seasonal fruits, arts, good weather etc. If your thing is stuff, no place like the USA. I don’t see corporations sharing more of what they already do in the USA so if you are looking to live life to the fullest, I think you can be happy in Mexico. A “socialist nation” labeled by the G7. They got power and strength but we just want to be free and have fun. Welcome to Mexico to all we’ll meaning people, a nation rich and vast that will have its first female president. We would not allow politicians lying as a way of life. Mexico has the American dream because we are living the era of corrupt politicians. If a problem is well studied, it’s a problem half solved. But if the problem isn’t spoken about, I only think more frustration comes your way.
what i have discovered is that people leave the USA with the hopes and expectations that all is peaches and 100% comfort.. all is well until they get here and complains and discomforts become the greater issue..come and see , experience Mexico with out any expectations and be part of the people and the culture. Comfort to most becomes a priority forgetting cuality of life.. I hope people see what Jose is saying between the lines..
Really depends where you are going to make your money. If you are going to be a retiree or a UA-camr, that will work for a while, but Mexico is updating their visa authorizations due to all the effects from both on housing prices and escalation in cost of living in Mexico, especially CDMX.
Not Quite what you are referring too but any American can arrive with an FMM Tourist visa and eventually qualify for Temporary Residency while living in Mexico. Either through something like the RNE program or other methods. You can watch my channel for more information or better yet watch this video ua-cam.com/video/XH9lxrAehSU/v-deo.html
I want to move to Mexico. Sign me up. US election and the future are super scary. I want to live somewhere safe. Where would you recommend in Mexico? I am an RN and also want to teach English. I am in Texas. It is awful.
I live in Merida Yucatan and have traveled to many parts of Mexico. But with that said I can not recommend any place because Mexico is a HUGE country. It's like if I were to ask you "I'm moving to the USA, where do you recommend?" It would all depend on the individual and what they are looking for. My advice is to research Mexico and in your search you will find what is the best place for you personally. Good luck with everything! Thanks for sharing with us!
Every time I think about moving to Mexico I see videos of locals saying they don’t want Americans in there town. They say inflation etc etc. all I want is to be left alone. If I were to buy a few aches in Mexico do you think I will get problems from the locals to the point I wouldn’t want to be there? I mind my own business and would help anyone who wants it. Would that set me up to get got by someone?
@@JoseArteagaTravels I’m a good person and like I said would help at any time given the opportunity. I was considering the Yucatán. I have a 250k house I am selling and know it would be enough to start. Just seems like the Wild West in a lot of ways and I’m too old to deal with bs. Just want a chunk of land and friendly neighborhood. Would a trip to Mexico help my anxiety about it all or what’s your opinion? Just jump and trust it’s worth it?
Yeah you already know. I'm sure you've heard even more stories throughout the years. My own family included. Everyone lost everything. Factories, businesses, lives..... just terrible. And to think that there are still people in this world that think Communism is a "Good Idea". Thanks for sharing
I already covered it and debunked it. This is simply not true at all. You can do a quick search yourself and find absolutely nothing on the internet except a few youtubers who are talking about this without ANY evidence. If this was a true story it would be ALL OVER the News. The same people saying this also have absolutely no proof to back it up. If it was true it should be pretty easy to find Any Mexican official talking about it. But as i said as soon as you try to research this in English or in Spanish there is no credible evidence of any kind.
THE AMERICAS are NOT JUST THE USA, consists of all countries from Canada down to Chile and everything in between SO MANY other BETTER OPTIONS than the US, you just have to stop fearing the new and go out and explore the world When you do that you will find people everywhere are VERY NICE and friendly and you might figure out that healthcare in these other places is FREE or costs nothing but some spare change ! I pay $6 to see an MD in a clinic And FOOD ! My God, outside the US it's so cheap Open up your mind that there might be a ton of places you never thought of going to that are SURPRISINGLY NICE and INEXPENSIVE TOO ! You will end up saying to yourself - DAMN , these people are wonderful and it's NICE here ! It brings a smile to your face ! I would have never believed it till I did it !
No its not. The dream is to move to a gingo enclave and transplant as much of American culture as possible. I've lived in Mexico for 12 years and traveled all over the country since the late '70's. Most American live in well known expat communities, they don't speak the language and make no attempts to integrate into the local culture, learn the customs, etc. Let's be real. They want a cheaper version of America.
Jaja sounds about right. I actually talk about all that in other videos. The reality is that the way things are going in the US and other "first world countries" people of all ages are looking for a solution, a way out of the problem that is living in those countries these days. Things are changing, and so are the demographics.... Thanks for sharing your thoughts, again i agree with you, but things are changing.
Well if you wanna get technical, Mexico is in the Americas. Therefore the American Dream can signify any nation within the Americas. But as you were saying, it is actually better to just call it the Mexican Dream which is what I put in the thumbnail "the picture you clicked on to watch the video" it says it right there "Mexican Dream" Thanks for sharing
America is from Alaska to Argentina and Chile. But yes we are living the Mexican dream, i lived in Canada, England and USA. But i decided to come back to my country Mexico 4 years ago and i am doing great things here. I am making more money than when i was in those countries. I love being in Mexico.
But you have to specify that it's a dream for a retired person, with a stable pension in dollars. People will not move down to Mexico to get paid those low wages, that's why lots of Mexicans still moving to the USA for the much better wages.
It's not all about the money anymore these days. At this point it has much more to do with Freedom and Quality of life. Also Mexicans are going to the USA anymore like you think to work. Things are so bad in the USA and Canada its not worth it to them anymore. Especially with the constant wage increases and just general economic boom Mexico is having. Most Mexicans and even some immigrants who were originally headed to the USA are actually staying in Mexico since they can make almost the same amount of money here and with much less stress and expenses. Things are rapidly changing. Many Americans are more than happy to do remedial work for less pay as long as they can live their lives in peace.
@@JoseArteagaTravels do you call a 500 pesos a day a good salary? That's around 27 dollars a day, average pay in Mexico, and now with the gentrificacion rising the house prices will make it even worst for everyone. They might be rising wages but is because of inflation, I have cousins living there and things are not getting better. And quality of life lol, with basically no law in Mexico, it also depends where you live ofcourse, in a higher class area it's better, money talks in Mexico. Like in any other third world country.
@@elmejormirador1constant mass killings, homeless beggars everywhere , addicts everywhere and ignorant people like yourself being the norm . Wow , the U.S. your country is now the richest 3rd world country!!

I just cant believe how someone from the greatest country in the world would wanna go to live in Mexico, not that its bad, but you are already in the greatest country in the world like...... But sir, the city you were in looked great Much love ❤❤❤
Both countries have good and bad but where you decide to live depends on PERSONAL preferences, wants and needs. I moved to the US 46 years ago and I’m overall happy here but if trump wins then I’ll move back to Mexico and I’ll be ok there.
“American dream” is defined in books as freedom and opportunity, but in practice every American I’ve known means, by this term, home ownership. And perhaps that each new generation is more prosperous than the last. Rarely is freedom mentioned, or if mentioned, it is defined in vague, weak ways, say as a choice of menu items. This outlook predates by decades the Washington turmoil of the past 8 years everyone complains about, yet which has zero impact on the daily life of ordinary citizens. Jose, what jumpstarted the emigration bandwagon out of the US was housing, particularly the pandemic explosion in rent costs starting 2020 and the ongoing nationwide 5-million unit shortage of purchasable houses. Hard to overstate the panic that set in. On the other hand, many don’t make the effort to take advantage of better housing costs in the interior plains and mountain states. They’d rather complain about elections than leave the rim states for the interior or for Mexico and beyond. The challenge in emigration is to anticipate instabilities not only in the home country, but in the destination country. A lot of Americans once delighted by Ecuador, for example, have felt driven to leave that country in recent months … for the US. It’s a magnet in the same way that hostage takers are for sufferers of Stockholm Syndrome. Wide swaths of the US population are under tremendous pressure, and therefore merit encouragement, yet many retain risk averseness to an extent that is hard to empathize with.
@@MaryGwenDungan “It’s a magnet” means something like Michael Corleone’s “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.” He, not “they,” is responsible for his situation; so if the old situation was so terrible, why return to it, like those Ecuador people returning to the US? Corleone was not so helpless. Yes, I meant a lot of Americans lack the initiative to improve their financial position by moving to the interior. Flyover country has incredible diversity, great urban centers, ethnicities and cultures. Anything Americans could want is there - except for warm winters and, in some areas, sufficient job opportunities. But that second obstacle would not stop those with skills useable anywhere, which seems to be true of a growing part of the population. So what is stopping them? Inertia. Family ties in the rim states. And cold winters. It’s insane, suicidal that people turn down opportunities, turn down great cities, only because these are in states where the other party runs most things. Which has zero bearing on 99% of ordinary citizens, while debt and housing costs have a tremendous impact on them.
@@MaryGwenDungan That ethos exists everywhere, or in most places. I've lived in Texas, Tennessee, Nevada, California (Berkeley) and upstate New York. Sometimes that ethos marks you as a minority. I don't understand why that's become a terrible thing, to some. It's just life, and it's actually often advantageous to be in a minority. I saw how people could stagnate in an echo chamber like Berkeley, a city I loved (and still do). I remember how many of our great artists and writers came from - and remained in - flyover country. What's happened? Nothing good, I fear. I don't hold it against a retired person to want a different environment, but our younger people want it too, and without struggle. They seem, to me, easily discouraged or perhaps entitled. But it also depends on what you mean by "ethos." From your mention of Chapala and Sedona, I'd guess you mean things like: not the ugly American; focused on community not consumption; maybe even artistic or bohemian; independent not clannish. These can be had almost everywhere, in my experience.
No, don't come. Too much American and Canadian gentrification has become a nightmare throughout all of Mexico in the last few years not just in major cities or tourist cities. But you as a Cubano (and all Latin Americans) already know Mexico es tu casa.
My experience in Mexico is that almost everyone is self-employed. This means that everyone else, is a potential customer. Yes, there is racism, I believe it's mostly caused because people don't understand that whoever was driving this b******* covid agenda, created inflation all around the world. But that said, most Mexicans politely treat me as a customer. Unlike most employees in the United States who are mostly all on the government dole
Actually it is well documented on the channel that I came out here with nothing and figured it out and have been happily living here over 6 years now and happily married to a Mexican.
I think you dońt have any idea on whats happening in Mexico. Í’ m mexicain from Mexico City first pollution, second traffic, third insecurity. If you go to provincia is a strong presence of cartels and government is communist not freedom from the next years 😢
CDMX is not representative of Mexico. Mexico City is very different than Oaxaca, Yucatan, Guadalajara, Tijuana, Monterey and so on and so fourth. There is a reason so many chillangos are leaving and moving much more desirable places in Mexico. Roma y Condesa no es todo Mexico
@@JoseArteagaTravels Dear José I iive now in the Rivera Maya for the reasons you mention and danger is also here with cartels all the stores are closing because the cartels ask for money so you don´t have many chances because cartels are taking many business even the people who work on contruction ( albañiles) have to pay to the cartels
@@elsamerino9020 We all know there are certain areas that are more dangerous than others. If it is not the Cartel asking for money it is the Local Governments. Regardless you have to pay someone. I never said life is perfect in Mexico, for some people it is much more preferable to deal with the situations in Mexico than the situations in the USA and others simply prefer places like the USA. No place is perfect. But of all the places I have been to in Mexico I have yet to encounter anything like this. Of course we all know it happens but it is not an issue that affects all of Mexico, just certain areas, same as in the USA or any other country.
SO THEN WHY AREN'T THE LATINOS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES THAT ARE PASSING THROUGH MEXICO TO GET TO THE UNITED STATES STAY IN MEXICO THEY SPEAK SPANISH AND THEY SHARE SIMILAR CULTURES
That is a GREAT Question! Simply put the US is giving all those immigrants all kinds of money, and benefits and free stuff and housing and phones, and all kinds of cool neat stuff. But in Mexico there is none of that just hard work and sacrifice to get what you want. Some choose to stay because as you said it is just easier because of the language and culture but most can not pass up a Free Ride in the USA so thats why they go there instead. Also most of the immigrants are from all over the world not just latin america
The American dream was always for white people in the 1950s-mid 1970s and before…now that cooperations are squeezing everyone it has become harder. African Americans, Native Americans and other brown people never really got to live the American dream.
@@MaryGwenDungan Asians are successful due to selective migration. Only the best of the best form India migrate for example. That is how we have the model minority myth.
I'm Mexican and you wouldn't pay me to go back to Mexico. The narco violence is horrendous, the impunity, corruption, poverty, insecurity etc. Mexico is becoming a failed state.
Only one country is politically united and it’s not USA. Just say you couldn’t make money in Mexico yourself and move on. Congrats on the Cuban immigrant in Mexico who’s working and studying to become a dentist (great video search for it)

Good talk, Jose. You have your finger on the pulse. I knew this was going to happen...
LOL!! EX PATRIOT = immigrant

José, you are right. More freedom, good economy, better culture oriented people, and much better DEMOCRACY!!!🇲🇽 🇺🇸🇲🇽🇺🇸🇲🇽🇺🇸VIVA MÉXICO!
Viva Mexico!
Then why is the southern border overrun with illegals?

Thank you for sharing. Viva Mexico!
You didnt have this problem before 2020 but you soyboys voted mean tweets out of the whote house now deal with the problem dont move out
Freedom of speech is extremely important. But, even more important is control over your own body.

@@JoseArteagaTravelsthank you !
Thank you for sharing
what i have discovered is that people leave the USA with the hopes and expectations that all is peaches and 100% comfort.. all is well until they get here and complains and discomforts become the greater issue..come and see , experience Mexico with out any expectations and be part of the people and the culture.

I live in Merida Yucatan and have traveled to many parts of Mexico. But with that said I can not recommend any place because Mexico is a HUGE country. It's like if I were to ask you "I'm moving to the USA, where do you recommend?" It would all depend on the individual and what they are looking for. Every time I think about moving to Mexico I see videos of locals saying they don’t want Americans in there town. They say inflation etc etc. all I want is to be left alone. Would that set me up to get got by someone?
A lot of those are over blown. Basically what it boils down to is how you treat them and act in the community.

I already covered it and debunked it. This is simply not true at all. If this was a true story it would be ALL OVER the News. The same people saying this also have absolutely no proof to back it up. If it was true it should be pretty easy to find Any Mexican official talking about it. But as i said as soon as you try to research this in English or in Spanish there is no credible evidence of any kind.

Well stop calling it american dream if it's dead and you're in mexico. It's mexican dream.

Moving to Mexico is not for everyone. As you said, Some people prefer the USA no matter what. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!
These can be had almost everywhere, in my experience.
pretty much joe, the new american dream is to move to where the undesirables cannot follow.

No, don't come. Too much American and Canadian gentrification has become a nightmare throughout all of Mexico in the last few years not just in major cities or tourist cities. But you as a Cubano (and all Latin Americans) already know Mexico es tu casa.
Thanks for sharing!

@@JoseArteagaTravels hablo de los norteamericanos más bien que como si fueran hijos de ricos quieren vivir de fiesta y con todo dado
I am sure the narrator is not working a regular Mexican job. He's living off savings or investments he made while living in the United States

Mexico is becoming a failed state.
ok! Thank you for sharing
You are fake Mexican! You better stay in your rat trap called Merica
Only one country is politically united and it’s not USA. Just say you couldn’t make money in Mexico yourself and move on. Congrats on the Cuban immigrant in Mexico who’s working and studying to become a dentist (great video search for it)
