The best way to get Kos-Mos is by saving using the cloud, that way you can spam all your crystals and if she doesn't drop you can just reset and open the crystals again. It's a lot faster than having to grind over and over for core crystals.

I remember seeing the silhouette of Herald before getting her thinking that it was going to be a badass dragon blade. Then I found out that she was a badass waifu dragon blade. Herald is a great blade.
Ahh, I remember the good old days before NG+ when Herald was considered one of the 3 best blades in the game with KOS-MOS and QTPi. I'd consider her a high risk but high reward blade. The downright comical amount of damage she can do with Empyrean Salvo at max affinity is stellar, but the risk of being made of glass makes her slightly risky to use in high damage fights. Otherwise, she might just be my favourite cannon blade that isn't Little Miss H-Effect R.
Well you could actually bring herald,fiora, and shulk on zeke just to make the whole glass part irrelevant since shulk will just block the danger and fiora on an alt driver doing immortal heals and then after the enemy is doing throwing a tantrum go back on to your full affinity herald and ohko the Fool lol.

Before I learned about the easy ways to grind trust, a blade who in order to raise their affinity you just had to use their specials or have them avoid attacks which was gonna happen anyway? Um, heck yeah! She just also had the benefit of making Zeke a complete monster, so yeah, Kos-mos may be better, but I'll always love my dragon mech girl

Herald is my absolute favorite blade. And my absolute favorite thing about her is her design. The whole idea of her sacrificing humanity for the power of her mech is something the illustrator, who’s name escapes me, is extremely good at portraying. They worked on Terra Battle, one of my favorite games ever, and every character in that game went through a similar sacrifice, which was shown in their artwork. I love Herald cause she’s the embodiment of that design philosophy.

Herald has some of the best lore in this game. They could have gotten away with giving her Corvin's damage ratios (especially after her blade mission) I'm really curious about whether she was in the aegis war.
Herald is really cool, it's just a shame that she is an Electric Blade when Zeke is both her best Driver and the Driver that makes the most sense in terms of story/lore. It lead me to not really use her during my first playthrough, because I didn't want to swap out Pandoria or have two Blades of the same element equipped on Zeke.
Honestly would reccomend not getting too caught up in the elements. As long as you can combo to get 1 maybe 2 orbs on an enemy you are usually set haha. My favs are Mythra/KosMos, Corvin and QT(water). 3 light for one orb then 2 light 1 water for the 2nd. Then chain and they are dead
If you're using Herald you're probably going solo with her anyways so Pandora can stick around, I guess? It might even be for the better because Orbs lower dps for that element so less Orbs can actually be a good thing. What makes it all worse is Vess is a Crit Bitball and Ahkos has the Greataxe moveset, so they're all competing for the same Driver. Two Blades of the same element is fine but four?! That's a crowd.
Herald is actually the best blade for NG+ speedruns because of the ether canon long range and her driver arts hit harder than the ones of KOS-MOS. KOS-MOS is better for longer fights.
By shear coincidence, the previous two videos were on the two Blades with the most interesting silhouettes in the album when looking early on. It's probably because they had two of the largest silhouettes without being formless blobs. This one was slightly disappointing when getting she got filled in while the other broke me after only one cutscene.
I had Herald on Mòrag for longer than I'd like to admit....at least her level 1 was still broken. Then I switched her to Nia (Zeke was already well off with Kos-Mos), and she became quite a lot better!
Well, if you are not lucky getting Kos-Mos, Herald is a good option for the main game. The DLC just annihilated this blade with Fiora, T-elos and company. This level 1 special is just ridiculously strong. I knew it could hit 16 times like Elma but I didn't know it could hit DURING a chain attack and then hit again using the bonus damage... Damn, 32 attacks for 600-800k damage or maybe more? There's no blade out there able to do that so fast. I still like this blade though. Pandoria is nice for the memes and the Eye but Herald offers something different and honestly, seeing Zeke using cannons is super fun.
I still think Herald has one of the best designs in the game. If I were to improve her but keep her glass cannon nature, I would give her 30% physical and ether defense. Unlimited output would also give 1% hp back on arts damage. Taboo would have instead have a 30% less aggro gained.
I love when I want to do a build and the video of that exact blade is released the same day I try her lvl 1 special, even though I don't have S+ or affinity max attack that thing still hit like a fucking truck

I thought she was ok and that's it but then I realized if I defeated a couple of monsters T-elos would skyrocket her damage, something like 300% or more iirc...so I used her against Carlos and it was flipping insane how she demolished him. Herald is still funny for me though. She suffers a bit like Wulfric: ok blades for the main game but not completely overpowered like the ones from the DLC.
I'm making a team with T-elos too. It's insane how much damage you can do if you kill three monster and you use her lvl 2 special in a chain attack. I love when the health bar of the monster is melting during a chain attack. But I don't have the dlc already so the best choice for chain attack are t-elos and herald. I don't wanna use qt π because of tiger tiger instead I use kos mos for the third blade
Thanks for the tips but the build i'm planing to do require a dark blade, a light blade and Herald on three different driver. I can't use adenine ,patroka or dagas on this one.
@@karelmilesi4857 You could try with QTPi on Tora but not using Alpha and QT, that way you have break and Launch with her and because she's extremely flexible you can build her with any kind of element mod...as long as you are ready to grind Tiger Tiger that is. I eventually was able to completely dominate level 5 in that mini game just trying to get the light mod,just be sure to return with the big chest at the bottom.
Herald is super fun to use with dumb chain attack setups Didn't know about the Empyrean Salvo projectile exploit to effectively do 2 of them though, that's awesome!
I guess it's a non patched glitched that will remain like that forever. I highly doubt Monolith will ever touch it but who knows, they did touch some sections in Tephra for XCDE to avoid exploits. Maybe other attacks out there can do the same thing but I don't know about them.
Just finished my first playthrough recently, somehow pulled KOSMOS and bought Sheba and filled the piggy bank, and still haven’t got Herald in NG+. It makes me a bit upset, she’s one of the last blades I’m missing
May I ask why your blades deal 999xxx damage on single hits and 100k+ damage with auto-attacks? Even my S+, S, and A tier blades are S+ trust but still they don't deal that kind of damage.
