A few weeks ago I was driving home tired in the evening and I heard a song by this singer on the radio (Netherlands). I immediately turned up the volume knob. Goosebumps. I stopped along the road to see if I could quickly use an app on my mobile to see which artist this was. Since then I listen to a number of songs on this UA-cam channel every day. The goosebumps moments are there every time I play a random track again. Magical moments. 🆒💖👍🙏

When my hubby was in Iraq, I was in the gym working out trying to be beautiful for when he came home, and Shania Twain's song "Still the One" came on. I just cried and cried because it was so true.
Fast forward nearly 20 years, and hubby passed away from cancer that was caused while he was serving there. Then I heard this song. He can't still be the one, but he does still get to me. He passed away 2-1/2 years ago. But I miss his so much, and I can't move on. This song hits where it hurts. But it's beautiful.

😢 I'm a 65 year old female writer so I know how words hold such power. Twenty four years ago I let someone go. The look on his face, the pleading eyes as he begged me not to go. He was a wonderful man but we wanted different things in life. I've lived all over the US and down into MX. The past five years I've been in Europe. Yet, this song "You Get to Me" and Michael McDonald's version of "You Belong to Me" stop me in my tracks. I have to sit down and let the tears flow.
