Thanks for watching!
I haven't been to the Mgm buffet for years thanks for showing us. Now that all the budget friendly buffets are gone. We tend to head towards the Southpoint quite often. Good prices and pretty good selection of foods !!
Oh ya! The Southpoint. I've been to that one a few times too. 😊
You should go on cruise you can buffet all day long included in your fare
Sounds like fun!
I remember the Rio around the world buffet so huge so great !
Nice video! Your really growing being back in Vegas! Looks pretty tasty there!
I haven't hit upon Dani's channel much since she moved to Florida...now that I am coming back, seems she has moved back to Nevada? I had no idea ! This is GREAT news, as this channel is among my top 30 fav youtube channels OF ALL. I'm addicted to her awesome video Vegas reviews.
I know I waited over 2 months to watch but, I might be at this Resort in October! 👍 ❤️ ✌️
When we were kids, the MGM was the newest and biggest hotel on the strip!! The MGM buffet was WAY out of my family's price range. I remember walking by it, thinking "maybe some day I'll be able to go there" lol now it's one of the more reasonably priced buffets! Reminds me of how buffets were before the pandemic. I'm going to have to try it out one of these days.
I wonder if that's why I don't remember ever going there before. We tend to frequent the cheaper buffets from the 90s.
Music too damn loud!!!!! Louder than you while speaking. So damn annoying.
My bad. I'll have to lower it even more then I think. Thanks for the heads up.
@@Dani702 You're welcome.
I loved the video. Very informative. I am traveling to Vegas in June. I WILL 100% visit the MGM buffet thanks to your video. I am not a big buffet guy. But, I will try MGM.
Cheers!!!
"They were cones!" Hilarious nod to The Wedding Singer :D
Looks like buffets are becoming a thing of the past. Food halls are much more economically beneficial to the casinos. Too bad. I LOVED the Rio Carnival buffet back int he day!
100!!! We would hit up the free float show and get the Buffet all the time at the Rio.
The best Vegas buffet I ever had was at the Rio. Good stuff! Thanks for the tips and review. They were cones!!
I loved the Rio buffet!! It's such a bummer it's been closed
Rio aside since it's still closed, my favorite buffet was Main Street Station. Not sure if that's open or not, but they always had a huge selection and theme nights. During a guys trip during their T-bone night which IIRR, was Tuesdays, one of the guys said he could eat 10, and if he did, we'd reimburse him for his dinner. He didn't of course make it. But that's when these buffet's were still reasonable. Before the inflation crisis, no way I could put down $30 worth of food, but since a trip to Arby's will cost darn near that much, it's quite easy to put that down and still be hungry.
Lol dang! I haven't had main street buffet yet. I think dinner runs $33 now. I wonder if they give coupons if your staying there though.
I love Main Street buffet! I can't wait to eat there again!
Dani, you're a beautiful woman, but you need to get rid of the nose ring. I don't know how Eddie feels, but I think you need to blow the nose ring. 😃
Nah, I'm good.
Well Dani yes prices are expensive but yet again a meal at a regular restaurant can run you the same but with not all the variety at this buffet.👍🤩
The weekend price comes out to $80 for two people. I think that's a bit to much but the weekday or better yet the 2 for 1 price is good.
Eww never MGM Grand Buffet, once was enough…instant regret!!
Oh no. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.
Hello Dani. So nice to meet you and your husband at the Mandalay Bay VGK watch party. I hit that subscribe button on my account. We’ve been watching you on my wife’s account. Hopefully you make it to EDC next year. 🎉
No Mexican food ?🌮. 😢
I know right? 🤔
I miss the Carnival World Buffet at the Rio! I tried Bacchanal for the first time on my last trip and it's really good. Pricey but worth it!
"there were cones" shout out to ATW! 😂😂
OK I wish we would have known about this when we were in Las Vegas. Because we ate at the Buffay inside of Caesars Palace and it 100% was not worth the price. It was like $210 for two people. Somehow I thought it was 4999 or something like that. They did something to make me believe that somewhere in advertising or something? We arrive there for our reservation got to the cash register and found out it was over $100 per person with tax! Or somewhere around there. It 100%. Was not worth that. Next year we will definitely be going to this buffet instead. Thank you.
Hi, Dani.702..., Excellent, excellent video and very informative and "Thank you" for sharing the video ! ! * You know what I like about you..., you are bright, intelligent, and attractive... I sincerely enjoy your videos... "Semper Fi" Mike in Montana P.S.: I am glad that I "Subscribed" to your excellent video channel... Mike :)
Buffets are not even close like they were before covid.. Back then Breakfast at Planet Hollywood (which is no more) and dinner where ever you were at the time.. MGM was never a buffet stop for me.. Back then best seafood buffet was Rio.. Luxor and Ceasers had above avg buffets, Ceasers was pricey(still is).. But good video my dear!
Very cute. Good review. (Waaay) back in the day, the buffet at your hotel would suffice. Stardust, Mirage, Sahara... all were good. Now, you have to hunt and hope for the best.
I have been going to Las Vegas for 25 years and U've never been to the MGM Grand Buffet. I never hear anyone talk about it; I didn't even know it was still open.
The MGM Grand is my fave casino in Vegas..... but the MGM buffet is sub par in my opinion. There are many other buffets in LV that are far superior.
I’m going weekday brunch with a 2 for 1 reward!! I don’t care if it’s not superb, I’ll eat what I like as much of it.
NO crap buffet is worth $30
Saved you the trip. 👍👍
Great video has always, now I want to eat!! Hope u have a blessed day!
Thank you! You too!
NICE SEEING EDDIE WITH YOU
We just went to this buffet about a week ago and it was awful, way too overpriced and not good selection or taste…sadly it was the only one we could still get in to on the fourth and now I know why
Pretty sure I can get bisquits & gravy for $4 at Waffle House.
I grabbed the MyVegas reward too. I've never eaten there. Will be there in June.
The corn beef hash and biscuits and gravy , Is the breakfast of champions , Can't believe you guys put away all that grub , Pretty much 90 degrees there now right ?
No joke had my heater on 3 days ago and turn my AC on today. I'm actually pretty excited for the heat but no brake for the wallet. 😭
cactus fruit and small medium size warm weather apple
Dani your adorable and very easy on the ears too…… Live 6 hrs away Phoenix . Vegas just picks your pocket WITHOUT gambling. I remember the 90s. 6 hrs includes couple of stops, brunch in Kingman
I love Kingman. Cool route 66 stop!
Hi Dani, MGM didn't look that great. I go with my Cousin Eddie to the secret best buck forty nine buffet in Vegas. Where the bread pudding is extra runny each night and make sure you ask the server for some of the yella, and tell him not to get cheap on you. If you need me, I will be over by the saltines. Have good one...P.S. where can I get some dam bait at Hoover Dam??? 🤣🤣🤣
I have always wanted to go to a shady buffet after watching that scene. I'd probably regret it though. Also the casino with the pick a number and rock paper scissors. Lol.
For half the price, would rather go to South Point. I've had MGM a few times, but it's overpriced for it's quality. Wicked Spoon at Cosmo is probably my favorite mid level buffet.
I do like the Southpoint buffet. I've never been to wicked spoon. I'd love to check it out but I think it's $50 on weekends.😖 I hear it's really good though. Hopefully we get the chance to check it out.
All of that food looks so yummy. But, it’s overwhelming. I would want to try everything. Thank you you Dani. I love you so much….ok, love you a little…ok, like you a lot…ok, like you a little….ok, I tolerate you….lol. Be well….take care of yourself and Eddie.
The food choices can definitely get overwhelming. Hah.
I’ll have some of the yellow, and don’t get cheap on me!
krazy buffet is best $ 12.99
Замечательный красивый интересный ролик😍 добра Вам мой друг привет из Украины 🧡👍🤝🙏💝🌹🌹🌹☕
Thank you!
Dani, your fake lips may have an effect on your tastebuds.
I appreciate this comment because I've been thinking about getting filler lately. But if you think I already have it, maybe I don't need it.😁
I give it a 3 out of 10. we had 2 free buffets , would skip this even if it was free again. I found myself going for the ice cream instead of the poor selections of semi warm dishes. But that was just me , you might be OK with it. Rather go to Denny's...
Nothing I had was bad but its not the best option.
dennys on the strip is fire.. have had great meals there
Unfortunately, the MGM has the worst buffet most days unless you like breakfast food. It does look like you caught them on a better day, however. Last time I went a few weeks ago, there wasn’t even a salad option I’ve never seen apple pie offered. Maybe they make it a little better on weekend. Who knows…all I know is I won’t go back and prefer the Luxor Buffett if I had to choose. I’ll have to try Excalibur next time since I get them comped anyway….which is why I prefer La La Noodle or Eataly at Park MGM. Have you done a vid on La La Noodle? That place is very good for the price!
Not a bad price for it and the food looked good! One casino we go to in Mississippi and it’s like almost 50 a person. Thanks for the vid Dani!
Younger back when Yoda was, we would hit up the MGM buffet. They featured King Crab for only $25.99. They offered both hot and cold. The best part was that they were already sliced in half.
Which myvegas app do you use? I only see games to play
Thanks. Enjoyed your food review!
It is a slot play. You earn points and redeem for rewards. There is not that many good rewards right now. But I do see that 2 for 1 is still there.
@@Dani702 Awesome! Thanks for the info! I love your channel and experiencesin Vegas. I found your channel from watching TheDailyWoo. Keep it up!
Great video. Continue on your road on getting the silver play button
Love ur videos. I wonder if the Excalibur still has its Buffet
Yes, I just checked the website
@@kims1941 nice. Thank you
We ate the buffet in Sept when we stayed at MGM. And it's was ok at best. Think of a step above Golden Corral, and that's not really a compliment. As Dani pointed out, it's on point for a budget friendly price point. (We dis the bogo MyVegas as well).
Personally I'd rather pay for the more pricey buffet and enjoy the better quality.
That's not to say MGM isn't quality. It's absolutely fine for its price, even better for a BOGO. But I don't imagine we would go back again anytime soon.
My opinion.
Great vid again Dani. Cheers to you and Eddie
I agree. 2 for 1 and heck yes. The weekday price is pretty reasonable if your in the hotel already. But nah on the full weekend price. There are just to many other options for a good meal at that price.
I think it's a good idea to cut down on variety and keep the prices down, have each casino specialize in a specific thing, spread it out, the old saying used to be, if you happen to lose all your money, at least you can eat good ☺️
I went to this buffet several times on my first trip in 2001. I thought it was mediocre back then compared to most of the other buffets that we hit. The only reason we went back was we were staying at New York New York and it was convenient to simply walk over the bridge. More than 20 years later, it doesn’t look that much different.
Didn’t look like any of the items I had during the weekdays! But the price is still too high for what you get. The Palms, Southpoint, or Main Street buffets are better value. If staying on the strip, the Excalibur is the preferred choice.
I liked the Excalibur one too. I've got to get back to the Southpoint. Its been a few years.
Happy 😊 Easter, Dani
Happy Easter!
@@Dani702 Thank you 😊
Great Video! The thing I hate the most about Buffets is touching all the Spoons, Tongs, and other utensils that everybody else touched. I would never eat the Rolls and bread that you had to eat with your hands. I would also bring a lot of Anti-Bacterial wipes with me. Call me Paronoid but I got the Flu one time from a Buffett and swore to never let that happen again. Those prices were pretty outrageous for what you got, I would pass on it!!
It is pretty pricey. But, I easily got the 2 for 1 deal and if you go on the weekday, it makes it $15 a person. :)
Thx for great review. I think Excalibur buffet is good. They have crepes made to order, and more variety than mgm. Worth trying. Cheers
I liked the Excalibur buffet too. ☺️
Hey what’s up Dani and Eddie hope you had a great Easter also you picked a good topic because I love buffet an$ the one at the MGM you guys went to look quite nice and the food didn’t look half bad and when you were showing what they had and you showed that they had breakfast I was in heaven that is my favorite thing I could eat it any time of day but I will say I really liked what you got and especially loved when you poured all that Au Jus sauce all over you prime rib now that’s what I call good eating also when you were talking about different buffet I was wondering if the Rio still has one because I thought it was the best and then you mentioned the Rio and that they had the best then i said great minds think alike well thanks Dani I’m glad you and Eddie enjoyed you meals now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Dani and Eddie and I’ll see you on the next awesome Vegas adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
I wish the Rio buffet was still around. That was a top buffet in town for so many. Happy Easter to you!
That omelette looked really delicious!
Good stuff Dani, great personality☺️
We're staying at Caesar's in May for our 5th trip. Supposedly Caesar's is the best buffet but after the Bellagio I'm not so sure!
It looks like a great buffet! Let me know if you go and what you think.
After trying it a few months ago, I can firmly say that MGM's buffet would be suitable for the Cousin Eddie type.
It's all you can eat, we only need one plate. 😂
You did a great vlog with a personal touch!
Fun Vegas food adventure Dani the Woo.
I love food. I remember doing a Laughlin, Colorado Belle Breakfast Buffet for 12.99. Then an Edgewater Dinner Buffet for the same price.
I love food too! And what a deal! :)
Where did you get the deal?
MyVegas app. It's the MGM free slot play app.
Love your reviews, your voiceovers are pro quality!
Thank you!!!
That's what I keep saying
Not a bad buffet for the price
Worth the weekday price or the 2 for 1.
Dani...I (like you) remember 90'S buffets fondly and the RIO had a fantastic buffet. I heard RIO is going to add a food hall. I loved this video and I will avoid MGM....not because the food looked bad...just bland.
Ugghhh the Rio buffet was the best!!! What a bummer it's not coming back.
Fun video with you and Eddie, like you, I'm not a big eater, so tend to avoid buffets, but appreciate the video, Happy Easter to you and Eddie
Same to you!
Had the MGM buffet several years ago. I’m not a really picky eater but thought it was kind of meh then. OK, but nothing special. Looks like it hasn’t changed much, maybe even went down some, except the price. Oh well. Thanks to you and Eddie for the update and taking us along. Been watching since before Orlando (which, of course, was Vegas). Have always enjoyed your videos. Keep it up, Dani.
I would agree with that. It was pretty ok. I didn't dislike anything but wasnt the best. The weekend price would be a pass for me. 😊 Thank you stu!
I've still never had a buffet. Maybe next trip
Ya! They can be a fun experience. But only if your really hungry.
Thanks for the review. I went a few years ago to the MGM buffet. It was the worst buffet I have ever gone to. Not much there and everything was cold. The best buffets are in the Mississippi casinos. Vegas wise, I did enjoy the Wynn Buffet.
They can definitely use some more menu items. I luckily didn't get any cold foods.
@heyheyhelen931 I wholeheartedly agree with you, it was legitimately awful and way overpriced, never again!
I was just on the strip yesterday. :) Great video, Dani.702!
Thank you!
Dani! Happy Easter to you. Another great vlog. Big seating area. Vegas used to have the best buffets.
Absolutely! I think there is still a sold few but the prices are so high. I'll make it out at some point to show you guys. 😊
@@Dani702 keep in touch and talk soon
Eddie must have loved the chef being extra special to you! Lol
A friendly conversation is always welcomed. 😊
Looks like a pretty decent buffet! My favorite Vegas buffet is the one at the Bellagio.
It was pretty ok. I wouldn't pay the weekend price but weekday price would be good. 2 for 1 even better.
Dani, why do this to me, now I have hunger pains. lol Thanks so much for sharing this, I like how you were at first, carefully pouring the sauce over the meat, then decided to just dump it. lol I remember the first time I went to a Vegas buffet, I kept looking at the attendant, thinking he's was gonna say, "Ok, that's enough". lol Thanks Dani. 🥩
Lol. The more au jus the better!
@@Dani702 Oh, that's what it is. I'm so uncivilized. 🤭
Dani great video was just there and felt the same.
Great deal if you can grab the two for one. 😊
Luke's lobster opens in a few days next to mgm you should do a review 😊
I'll have to look it up. 👍👍
@@Dani702 that would be amazing! I absolutely love lobster rolls. And going in May so definitely going to try it out 😄
I like your Wedding Singer reference.
Love that movie!
Yes indeed! I remember going to the Rio back in 1992 and that buffet was awesome! Another good one was the Golden Nugget back in the day. Recently I liked the "M" buffet but I heard its not coming back. Honorable mentions are Santa Fe Station for breakfast and the Aliante' for breakfast, not sure if either buffets returned or returning...🤔
The Rio lost its pizazz when it got rid of the Carnival in the Sky. After that it was just another off strip hotel in a crummy location.
@@holdenc3082 True, I hope some new investors come in and really shake things up. I still think it has potential, maybe a complete knockdown will really shake things up. However with all the growth going on in Las Vegas, there's no excuse nor reason that this hotel/resort should still exist with these deplorable conditions...
The Palace Station had the Feast🤤
Happy Easter, if you celebrate.
Happy Easter Noelle!

Great video. Makes me want to try the MGM buffet!
Do the weekday pricing or try and find a two for one deal. 👍
@@Dani702 Thank you. The weekdays pricing rules!
Thank you Dani...
You're welcome 😊
This is HILARIOUS how bad this is. Who is the junkie with the skull tattoo?
there are NO buffets "worth it" anymore in sin city PERIOD
I might agree with that. They are so pricey now. :( I'm officially on the hunt for good one.
@@Dani702 last time I went they were under $30 and I thought that was pushing it. What's the point if its not cheap anymore? 😁
No, you never start with salad or other cheap items. My first three trips are only for the very expensive items.
