I like the outside of this hybrid kayak but the only thing that would keep me from buying it is that bottom floor hump for I would rather have a flatter floor inside that has a keel shape on the bottom of the canoe say like the Old Town Sportsman Solo 119 which is what I'm leaning towards getting and yes it does cost more but it comes with all the features that I'm looking for in a hybrid canoe and still light enough to carry by hand !!!

the h12 is part canoe part kayak. thats why its shaped more like a boat. i can see why you might think being shaped like a boat might be a con but thats why.

Yeah it can get scary sometimes without the normal drain holes that a regular kayak has but as long as your safe out there it can be fun. Thanks for your comment. Good Vibes. 👍🏼

Personal question but how much do you weigh? I’m currently 325lbs (slowly dropping more weight hoping to get back to 250-275 soon) and tossed between the h10 and h12. I don’t need the extra length and would prefer the 55lbs of the h10 vs the 76lbs of the h12 for moving the boat around by myself.

@@CptStumpy i weigh around the same i would say the h12 is super comfortable anything smaller you might have a scarier time with any waves in windy conditions i would go with the h12.

can an 80lbish dog fit/ride in the back

I think the back might be a tight squeeze but you can probably fit them in the front easier.

I haven't gotten a chance to watch your whole video I will definitely come back and give it the view but I'm the meantime I have a question and if it's in the video I apologize just posting now and gonna watch later tonight when I have more time I'm 6 5 and 390 lbs I'm torn between this and the 133x do you think with me being so heavy and the limit on this one only being 450 it would still hold up with me and a days with of hear

Thanks for the question! well the recommendation for the 450 capacity is to weigh within the 320 pound range I'm probably about 350 myself and so far its held me pretty good. i know the 133x is a little bit more pricy but you would be able to put more weight on it. with how tall you are if you don't mind the price for the133x i would definitely get the 133x just to feel more comfortable.

This was a good video review of your kayak man. I am looking at buying the same kayak because I like how much weight it can carry. I am a dude at 385Ibs but I am Losing weight right now. I have one question? Because I am a big dude the one problem I have is I have big & very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide with very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. My foot outgrow shoes , socks , & boots because my toes are Evenly straight across & shoes are made for toes that are at an 45° Degrees angle. My question is how comfortable are the foot rest on the kayak. I have to kayak barefooted 👣 style because I can only wear flip flops 🩴 & my flip flops 🩴 barely and I mean barely fit on my feet 🦶 because my toes are wider than the flip flops 🩴 straps so I kayak barefooted 👣 because I don't want to lose the only footwear that will barely fit me. I am Worry about my feet 🦶 clearing the top of the kayak because of how big they are & how wide they are. I have gotten my foot Stuck in a brand new sit inside kayak & they Almost call 911 to get my foot out of the kayak. It was so embarrassed to me. The manager put up one of my flops 🩴& say to me is this your flip flops 🩴here? I said yes it is. My flip flops 🩴 has a very very nice wide worn-out 4 toe footprint on the footbed of my flip flops 🩴 & he said to me why's there only 4 toes footprint? I said that how wide my foot is. He was trying to get a good view of how wide my foot was inside the kayak. Embarrassing , embarrassing , embarrassing. I Apologize for being so long. But I would really really appreciate your help. I just found your channel & I am looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos.

the foot pegs are adjustable i would imagine in your case they would probably be really small but half of the time i don't really use the pegs.Theres always some kind of mod you can probably do to make it more comfortable.
