That was another great video Frank! You can't go wrong with any of the four soaps included in your test. I was happy to see that you had such a great experience with the CLEAN By Pan Shampoo! And you are right: the official scent is citrus grove with a melody of fruit scents.
Meguiars Hyper Wash is super slept on. Very slick, great dilution ratio, foams good, smells good, and cleans well for soap. Also has an amazing price point.
@@KiranPatel-fk1pg That doesn't bother me. I'm OCD when it comes to rinsing anyway so it doesn't really matter what soap I use, I rinse far more than I need to.
@@KiranPatel-fk1pg really? I’ve never had a problem with rinsing at the suggested 400:1 dilution ratio. I’m sure my foam cannon produces a much more concentrated dilution but after the contact wash from my bucket with the proper dilution ratio it’s pretty easy to rinse it off for me.
I agree! I have mentioned it before a few times, I threw the gallon away a while ago but yeah I used it plenty. the Fragrance gets old very quick though but the price is outstanding especially for US Market. cheers
I have so many bottles of soap on my shelf from testing different brands that it will be at least a year before I need any more. I would like to try out the GYEON Bathe once I have an empty spot. Like one of the previous comments, Meguiar's Hyper Wash is my current maintenance wash soap and I'm quite happy with it. Good video as always Frank.
Semper is the best I've used and if you use 2 oz per 4 gallons compared to the 1 oz instructions on the bottle it is the slickest of them all and still cheaper. My humble opinion
Awesome video Frank, sorry I’m late to watch the video. I look forward to ur videos. I’ve only used Carpro reset and Koch chemie gfs. But as always, you always bring us great content. Keep up the great work! 👍 🤜🤛
Great review Frank! Very thorough indeed. My current favorite is Reset. I may have to consider these others though at their price points! All of the brands will be even cheaper if the gallon is purchased. There are so many good options out there. Keep up the good work!
Hi Frank. Out of the 4 I’ve only used CarPro Reset. It works well. You’ve peeked my interest in labocosmetica, I’ll have to get some this spring. I’ve shied away from the Clean-by Pan because of the price. I’m sure it’s really good. I’m my opinion ADS shampoo + gives me the best user experience and results. Thanks for taking the time to do an in-depth review of your opinion.
Appreciate your feedback! It's good to hear that you're enjoying your current setup, but I think you'll love trying out the other products, they're definitely worth it! You're in good hands with ADS shampoo+ regardless thanks Steve
Carpro reset is used to remove existing waxes and to reset your ceramic coating. It is all I use on my ceramic graphene coated car and I love it. Carpro lift is the best foam cannon soap on the market imo
These types of videos are fun to watch but it’s such a personal thing. Of the soaps I’ve tried, I rank them Clean, ADS and Incredible Suds. Never tried Reset… this summer I will.
Hey brother! thanks for watching and leaving your feedback. I agree with you! Comparing them side by side is the way to go, not from week to week after different washes. I do my best to give you the facts and some opinions so you can make your own conclusions! Cheers
I can't fault Gyeon Bathe, super slick and when used after Gyeon Foam it cleans really well. Currently used on cars with a Gyeon Ceramic Coating and one that is not coated yet (waiting to be done) ... I also like to then snow-foam Bathe+ and wipe over with a mitt and then rinse to add extra protection. Drying the car is then super quick, I just use cold water and catch any drops with a drying towel.
Hey Frank, good video. Just wanted to let you know your testing the old version of the Gyeon Bath. New version is in a different bottle. It’s been updated and actually is in a different color altogether. Just FYI on that also Carpo reset I would not use regular basic.. I would only use that as a maintenance wash as it’s not as gentle as the other soaps. Maintenance washes to me doesn’t mean weekly basis maintenance wash to me means that you perform a deeper cleansing every few months to rejuvenate the top layer of your coating
Hello Brian and thanks for choosing my video. I'm not 100% sure but Bathe should be the same as it doesnt have the Redefined batch on the new packaging. Maybe you're right i'd have to ask Chris about this. Thanks for your feedback sir!
I watched your first video on car shampoo when GSF took a beating. I want to try out some of these soaps you tested but I still have a full gallon of GSF to go through 😅
I've been using Gyeon Bathe for a year now. Very happy with it. Almost empty now, and I've got a new bottle with Gtechniq GWash. Haven't tried Gwash yet, but I'd happily return to Bathe if I'm less impressed with the GWash (but I guess the GWash is good too).
👏. I think you finalised 3 that I would have picked too. I wouldn't have thought to use Gyeon. Labocosmetica Semper is a shampoo I want to try, your description of its scent makes me want that in my line-up. By how you've reviewed it it's a good all-rounder. I feel Pans shampoo does indeed smell very nice but it's dial is around 5 and needs to be stronger up to 8 or 9 out of 10. Carpro reset has a strong scent level which I enjoy. Yet to fully use pan's in a bucket but out of the bottle I feel it could be stronger, and yes it's very expensive. I see Koch Chemie GSF didn't make it in your line up Frank. Its not my favourite brand. It's too thick to pour, its lubrication levels is average, cleaning power is totally smoked out by Carpro Reset. The only good thing is the scent. Try Garage therapy /one neutral shampoo when it comes out on Thor, if its hasn't already. Superb scent- fresh green apples from the bucket, its absolutely amazing. Not so from the bottle- until it's mixed with water. It cleans very well, high levels of lubrication and slickness
Hey, what app is that? The one you used for dilution calculations? I keep in my stock Reset, Descale, Armor Decon, Bathe, and Pan’s soap. But I buy incredible suds by the gallon. For everyday maintenance, it’s hard to beat for safe cleaning abilities and slickness. Incredible suds is tough to work with so I just pre dilute it. When I get a coating job, i will use Armors decon shampoo in a cannon, then a contact wash with descale. It helps me use less of the diy waterspot remover that Im critically low on. I wish DIY would get a handle on their out of stocks because they are stellar products for the most part. I recently used their trim restore product on a faded jeep. Looked brand new. Armor decon is capable of removing artillery fungus I’m happy to report.
Hey Chris, glad to see you again, the app is apple store, Dilution calculator v2.1. Free version is great but very basic. Interesting feedback to read. Another good one is Armour Shampoo+ the scent is also in my top 3.
As always, loved your video. Quick comment. Wondering if you considered Koch Chemie GSF ? GSF has been a favorite of many detailers on UA-cam- including Pan's
@@YanniObkirk Hmmmm. Interesting that has been your experience. I wonder why--- so different from most of the reviews, Obsessed Garage, Pan , and this channel Detail Dogma. My own experience has been great for a maintenance neutral pH soap--- its certainly not an intense high alkaline heavy-duty cleaner.
Is the PH level of 9 from Capro Reset not neutralizing when fill it up in the bucket of water ? because You said Semper of Ph 6 is neutralizing when fill up the bucket .... 🤔
Hey Michel I should test this at some point i have the PH reader. Because there's so much water compared to the chemical it's for sure changing the PH toward neutral either way. Between 6 to 9 is considered PH Balanced but not necessarily neutral.
Hey man with all due respect P&s has poor dilution, 1oz per 128oz of water i remember correctly which makes your cost per wash skyrocket. Cheers and thank you for tuning in, appreciate your feedback.

I'm a professional detailer and I use a 1:1 mixture of water and distilled white vinegar to remove iron from paint. It may stink, but it's cheap and it works.

I bought CLEAN by Pan shampoo 1gal with a 25% discount and I really enjoy washing, even if it's just a prewash before rw this shampoo works very well and the double surfactants are noticeable
Frank i trust in Reset, and you know what i love about it? It's ability to lightly revive a coating (or lets say deeply clean it to such a level that it's reviving it's properties) is amazing, not many clean like that, we in Poland have a nice conteder to Reset wich i tested, it's called Neoxall 737, smells great, it's cheaper than Reset, it its super slick and revives the coating smiliar to Reset. The one thing i hate about it - it needs 100ml in a 10L, wich is not super economical, so i just bought 1L of Reset. When i washed a month ago with Carpro i added 50ml (normaly i add 30ml) and it was so slippery that my brush fell out of my hands, couldn't hold it properly 😅I've tested Bathe also (had essence one) was cool and super safe, but still prefer Reset. No Clean by Pan here yet, also Labo's whole line is super hard to get here but i bet they are good.
Hey Vic thank you brother, good read and love your feedback. All high end soaps here so cant go wrong! My friend Steve told me about a Poland ABDL Tingy soap. ever heard of ?
@@Detailing_Dogma Wooow cool that our products make it up there in the fine Canada! Sure I've heard of it, a great one too, ADBL Tangy is very good, used it, cleans super good and good lubrication and slickness, unclogs pretty well also u only need 30-50 ml of it and has a nice tangerine/citrus smell! Also The House of Rags is carrying Cleantle - another Polish brand - quite good, if u like look into it, cheers!
It would be cool if you put a 5lbs weight and used a pull scale to get a more accurate slickness test. I’ve seen Project Farm use a set up like that to get a more scientific result
For me, scent is a no no in soap, I want to be able to work with it everyday without gloves. The best soap in the market is without a doubt Phoenix EOD Apex. Ratio, slickness, cleaning power...a real professional product for pros !
I think most people who buys BMWs typically chooses between BMW and Mercedes Benz but goes with BMW for the overall driving experience. At least that’s what I did.
Hey JY thanks for tuning it brother! We clearly have different results for some reason. They're both good products dont get me wrong I have used Reset for almost a decade now. Just found semper quite slicker with exact dilution.
FRANK, thanks for the video. I will list some other car shampoos made here in the US. Adams Car Shampoo 1 gallon for $33, Turtle Wax Slick 'N Slide Pure 1/2 gallon $20, Apex Shampoo from Phoenix E.O.D. $33 a gallon, Cherry Foam by Superior Products 1 gallon for $15 & Armour Detail Supply Shampoo $68 a gallon. Please test these shampoos or any feedback from your viewers on these products?
I like to use a foam cannon when washings cars. The Clean By Pan Soap has great ability to dwell on the paint. It sticks to the vertical surfaces without sliding off. Good cleaning power for a pH neutral soap.
Are you sure you correct with clean by pan at $2.30 per wash???? That's unbelievably expensive 😮 as further on in the video your only using 20ml in your bucket as if pan's shampoo is $19.99 for 500ml and your using 20ml in a 5 litre bucket that works out at $0.80c per wash NOT $2.30 as you stated at the beginning of this video
rewatch the video when in doubt. CLEAN is 256:1 that said you need 60ml per wash (4gal water). 500ml product equals to 8.3 wash. You end up with around $2.40 per wash. Thats why I recommended to buy the gallon size to reach $1.00 per wash.

A bientot
Great video thanks for sharing 😊
Much appreciated Rob!
I bought CLEAN by Pan shampoo 1gal with a 25% discount and I really enjoy washing, even if it's just a prewash before rw this shampoo works very well and the double surfactants are noticeable
Appreciate the feedback and glad you enjoy it!
Next time try ewocar.
It would be cool if you put a 5lbs weight and used a pull scale to get a more accurate slickness test. I’ve seen Project Farm use a set up like that to get a more scientific result
Yeah good point, I'll be looking into that for the next video. Appreciate it!
Carpro reset would be the best out of all of these.
For me, scent is a no no in soap, I want to be able to work with it everyday without gloves. The best soap in the market is without a doubt Phoenix EOD Apex. Ratio, slickness, cleaning power...a real professional product for pros !
I respect that brother, thanks for watching, appreciate your feedback.
Most people who buy BMW's buy them because they are BMW's
I think most people who buys BMWs typically chooses between BMW and Mercedes Benz but goes with BMW for the overall driving experience. At least that’s what I did.
Maybe, but definitely not the way to go in life. Thanks for watching Craig!
I have all of them but i really think semper wasn’t slick at all. Even at 1:500 instead of 1:800. Reset was way slicker.
The regular Adam's Shampoo ( blue color ) is notorious for streaking black painted wheels
I have reviewed Armour shampoo and Adams in the previous soap test. Thanks for tuning in Sir!
I like to use a foam cannon when washings cars. The Clean By Pan Soap has great ability to dwell on the paint. It sticks to the vertical surfaces without sliding off. Good cleaning power for a pH neutral soap.
Glad you like it John. Thanks for tuning in!
if they tied for the best regardless of scent, gyeon won cuz its cheaper!
pretty much, they're all high end regardless!
clearly the best car soap is Koch Chemie Multi Star N
isn't this a Tire Dressing?
@ no
Not really a soap , is a high pH all purpose cleaner
@ that’s why it’s the best!
I bought a BMW because you bought a BMW 😎
Would you jump off a cliff if he jumped off a cliff....
mouhahha 🤪 ✌that's a good reason though!
Evening Frank
Thank you Steve! THanks for watching
Are you sure you correct with clean by pan at $2.30 per wash???? That's unbelievably expensive 😮 as further on in the video your only using 20ml in your bucket as if pan's shampoo is $19.99 for 500ml and your using 20ml in a 5 litre bucket
that works out at $0.80c per wash NOT $2.30 as you stated at the beginning of this video
rewatch the video when in doubt. CLEAN is 256:1 that said you need 60ml per wash (4gal water). 500ml product equals to 8.3 wash. You end up with around $2.40 per wash. Thats why I recommended to buy the gallon size to reach $1.00 per wash.
the 20ml thing was for the test where I used 5000ml of water in the bucket.
Clean product specs on the labels are very conservative even though it can probably be diluted more.
Good point. Thanks for your feedback Evelyn.
Gsf. GOAT.
Agree 100%. Gsf is so slick my wash mit flew off the first time I used it.
The dilution ratio sucks though.
@ nothing is perfect!
Glad you like it! It's over hyped by OG, In my testing it wasn't great compared to others high end soaps.
the best car soap for me is GSF
Glad you like it Vadim, thanks for watching the video.
That's awesome. I would have like to have seen GSF. 😢
I did, in the V1 best car shampoo here : ua-cam.com/video/0_aEyVoWoHE/v-deo.html
awe i thought i'd be first. but GSF it is bro. sorry my guy LOL. GSF FTW!
Thanks for your feedback, thats one a few KCX products im not a fan. Thats alright thanks for watching as usual my friend
@ lol I wonder why! You did mention it before too. But that’s okay. That’s why we have you to disagree with! lol
First!!
Nope. I’ll never buy anything put out by Pan the Advertiser - I don’t trust anything that dude says. I’ll stick with GSF.
