Construction progress along Scott Road for the upcoming R6 Rapidbus - Dec 2023

This video showcases the construction that has been going on along Scott Road in Surrey/Delta BC for the R6 RapidBus BRT line coming in 2024 (Specifically near the Scottsdale area). As of Dec 2023, the general roadwork is mostly complete, with the RapidBus signage on the stops not yet installed.

Why does the designated left turn lane remind me sorta of the 98 B Line?

Well, Translink's RapidBus was the successor to the B Line network. But just like the 98 B Line, Translink decided to build some dedicated bus rapid transit infrastructure for the R6 Scott Road RapidBus this time around, which they didn't do on R1-R5 aside from bus stop signs with next bus departures.
