People like this I wish they could live forever.
One of the perks, when I worked as an entertainer in Branson one year, they would let you into any show in town for free. I saw Andy 20+ times. I never went to any other show.
This is... hard to watch.
I cried when he began singing The Christmas Song. Not knowing that this is gonna be the last song he would ever sing - and it was.
And everyone thought he would come back the next year... it all ended so tragically.
Hard to see him looking so ill. He was singing from the age of 5 until 81. He had a four octave range. He never missed a note. He was good, handsome, smart, kind, generous, charitable, funny, snappy dresser, encouraged young talent. RIP Mr Entertainment you will not be replaced.
John Gary and Body Williams sang together twice. 🎶
Once at Carnegie Hall?
M. Elgin. Illinois.
Andy had a THREE OCTAVE RANGE from E2-E5 One of the World's GREATEST Singers! No vocal impersonators could get more than half of Andy's unique voice it was so complex!
He was 84 years old here
@@BBBYpsi he was 83 years old here
@@JohnTaylorMusicClips53 you are correct 28 days from 84 years old
There will never be another like Andy Williams...I adored you as a child, watched your show weekly and anxiously awaited the Christmas special each year...I played your version of Moon River at my mother’s funeral...Rest with the Angels, LEGEND...#YouAreMissed💔💔💔🎄🎄🎄🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good Lord. Andy Williams is the KING of Christmas!
There was only one Andy Williams.
Still had a beautiful voice at this age true legend 🤩
Andy Williams, One Of Those Rare Musical Artists. That Comes Along Maybe Once In A Generation ? If We Are All Lucky..
this man in his eighties can sing a tune with a stellar vocals for decades and singers this days can't even sing well after a few songs..i'm disappointed that i never will have a chance to see him in concert. i wish time machine exist...
Very true. They shout and get wild but no song.
R.I.P. Andy Williams 12/3/1927 - 9/25/2012. Andy passed away at his home in Branson, Mo. At the age of 84.
in memory of Andy, great singer of 2 centuries
Branson is missing the ultimate performer and neighbor, Andy Williams. What a wonderful career and wonderful man.
No one even comes close to the vocal talent of Mr. Williams. He is greatly missed by myself and many. Thank you Mr. Andy Williams for all the music and joy you brought to others.
Still so sorry he is not in our world anymore; one of the people I miss the most!
the man was and will be forever a legend R.I.P. Andy
Wonderful singer, with a superb vocal range, style and tone, that unfortunately most of today's singers are not able to come anywhere near. God bless Andy, and thank you for giving us your amazing talent. Now sing with the angels.
Thanks for your wonderful music Mr Moon River....
All of a sudden the good times are all gone. I look forward to Christmas hearing his wonderful tunes takes me back to a better gentler time 🌏💙🙏
Andy Williams is the soundtrack to Christmas. Christmas just isn't the same without you! Rest in Peace.
I purchased his Christmas album I had non by Al from Amazon.
Sorry. Spell check. That I had on vinyl.
Andy Williams has been a favorite since I was old enough to love music. My parents had a great love of music and we listened to All of his music growing up. I have several of his Christmas albums & CDs. It’s not Christmas without him.
Unforgetable Andy Willians! My Favourite Singer!❤️❤️🙏
Wow.... Guy lived a pretty good life.
Such a gentleman. I loved all his shows back in the day. They dont make entertainers like him anymore. His songs will live on as some of the best in the business.
I grew up watching ANDY's shows. So sad. Tears of his loss. I didn't realize he passed away in 2012. Now it all comes back to me.
It's after 4 AM, another "hard to find sleep" night. Watching this video again and reminiscing. What a terrific man. The most wonderful voice this planet has ever known...or ever will. What must have been on his mind at that moment. Yet he still took us on his vocal runway and up into the sky. The leader of the band. The joyful expression. How fortunate to be the one to shake his hand. Watching those sneakers disappear into the wings... I'm a nobody, from nowhere, but it hurts so much.
What a class-act. Gracious, humble, and sincere. Unlike those young punk singers nowadays who egotistical, condescending, and phony.
What a very sad day when we lost Mr Andy Williams ❤
He still hit those chords right on his final performance. He was a great singer. R.I.P. Andy Williams.
Such a handsome and talented sweet man. Always watched his show.
Thanks for coloring my life with great voice n songs ... Miss u so much Andy .... Gbu .
RIP.
Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Etc.. Where all Amazingly Talented Singers, I personally feel That Andy Williams is The Voice of Christmas for me., as far bk as I can remember hearing "Happy Holidays " and other songs he sung. Alway brought out The Spirit of Christmas in me and around me. So many have come and gone as will continue to be, But Andy Williams will be The Voice of Christmas forever for me. Merry Christmas and "Happy Holidays" Everyone.
An American Treasure.. One of my favorite voices, so lovely...
Always loved The Andy Williams show
What a bittersweet moment, and how wonderfully he was still singing. I was a young child at the time, but I remember Andy's Christmas shows, and I remember watching him sing this song with his brothers and loving their vocal blend. Christmas won't be the same without him.
How sad...miss you Andy boy 😢
Andy's voice was in great shape right up until the end. A pro such as he would never sing in public unless he was totally up to it. This mortality thing is such a drag.
every time without fail his voice touches something in my heart.
Andy has been my favorite singer since I was 8 yrs old. I became his fan when I heard his song "Can't Get Use to Losing You!!! Got to see him perform twice in person at the IN State Fair. RIP Andy!!!! Thank you for the music!
Andy Williams, the Voice of Christmas! For my last performance with the Army Band, I got to sing "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," and it was like he was on that stage with me! Ever since I heard his voice come through my parents' car stereo thirty years ago on the way home from Christmas Eve service at our church, I've always gotten good bumps when I hear that song.
Andy you will be my greatest ballader as long as I can hear you singing my favorite love songs. Long live after this last performance on stage God willing.
Andy came to the UK in the 90s, saw him live in Wolverhampton. What a voice! every song perfect. So sad he is no longer with us
He will always be Mr. Christmas to me!!! You are missed.
ANDY WILL ALWAYS BE A SONG'S BEST FRIEND. HE WILL BE REMEMBERED ALWAYS. 💜
I know this comment is 7 years after this video, but Andy Williams was such a gentleman, with my favourite song of his was 'Its the Most Wonderful Time of the Year', as it was the first song of his I listened to. I wish he was still around to entertain us all. His vocal chords have been fantastic throughout his entire life, including on this video, for being 84, it was very clear and beautiful to listen to. His voice definitely opened my heart to other kinds of music. Even though I was not born in the 1960's, but I am still appreciative towards him. May he
Rest In Peace. 1927-2012
Such pure sound even at 81 ... still missed.
If you never sat in the audience of one of his live performances. You will never know what you missed.
He was the best I missed him at Christmas. There was no one like him.
I have been an Andy Williams fan since the early 70s and wish I could have seen him live.
His name inspired my son's name (Andrew William Britt)!
Miss him. A true legend. Lots of us danced to his songs in the '60's...will always remember Moon River

I love you Andy. Merry Christmas.
he was awsome you will surely be missed forever
We arrived in Branson just after his last performance. I was so sad as his songs mean a lot to me. The sadness on this side and the great joy on the other at his passing. He did so much for music here. Thank heavens we have his recordings.
He was truly one of the greatest of all time ...
From Chile ...thanks Mr Williams ..

Andy Williams was the best! I've seen him perform many times in Branson. He was even kind enough to let me have my pic taken with him during one of his shows. I treasure it. Thank you, Andy, and thank you digitalwacker for posting.
No Words .... such a talented man !
You’re a very lucky and blessed individual to have been able to see him live before he passed away.
One of the best to ever do it!
RIP Andy. Thanks for making Christmas even more special.
I loved when I was in Branson at other shows around Christmas and they all said the Christmas season starts when Andy Williams says it does. He made me laugh many times when he said he was going to sing a Christmas song for us at his theater and he would sing 'Moon River". His shows were the best in Branson and he always had such brilliant performers on stage with him. I miss him so much. RIP Andy - When I get ready for Christmas I always think of you.
Thank you so much for this! Wow, his voice was perfect, always! I love Mr. Williams now and forever.... would be great if he met up with my Dad up in heaven!
Always wanted to see the Christmas show and take my mom and my stepdad to Branson to see it. Now we are waiting for my stepdad to die from cancer. Act before you can only regret what you never found time to do.. Merry Christmas
