The model of the Deathly Hallows in one of Dumbledore's cabinets was apparently actually a complete coincidence. When I went to the Harry Potter studios 2 years ago where they have some of the sets I made sure to find it in his office and it was still there haha. Coincidence or not its still a cool easter egg!
Justin Ryan To my knowledge Rowling had just finished writing the last book around the same time as the premiere of the Order of the Phoenix. Was in a documentary called J K Rowling - A Year in the Life
Easter egg- in the first harry potter films you can clearly see harry wearing glasses, if you look closely, he's wearing the same glasses in film 2. coincidence? I think there's more at work here than just that...
OMG!! I used to memorize that a 113 code as a trump question in trivia battles for starwars!! It was the code on the back of the droid that Jar Jar knocks over after Ani blows up the command center. I just memorized it because I could, that's cool that it actually meant something and I didn't even know it!
Nice I never payed attention to sample mistakes like them or any hidden details in movies now you expired me to not be so interest in the movie but also recognized the mistakes in the movie and hidden details thank you for showing me the mistakes and hidden details thank you very much.
Morgan Jones No, if he meant that then he'd have said '3 films later' because the 3rd would be the deathly hallows part 1 because there are 2 films between it.
***** Did you know Luke is the Joker? And the guy who played Khan is also Sherlock and Doctor Strange? I'd also like to congratulate you on turning 12 and finally having internet privileges by your parents. I cant wait for you to turn 14 and they'll turn off the parental protections next.
+Sean Thompson Ricky/Micky! :p I noticed that too! Never knew he was in Star Trek. But then again I also didn't realise Hemsworth was in Star Trek too. I don't watch Star Trek...
Sorry if anyone has already said this, but the ring in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is not the only time A113 is mentioned. When escaping the hospital, Tom Cruise's character calls for backup and uses the code ' Alpha 1-1-3'. This is an obvious mention of A113. Also, thank you for explaining the link to Disney as I had noticed 'A113' was mentioned, but I couldn't work out how this movie was linked to Disney.
+Arlekin Vergeltungswaffe really? easter eggs are meant for the die hard fans to find and kinda laugh about and know more about the cast and crew. i simply think it doesn't change if the movie is stupid or not. maybe you are just ignorantly hating something that is so popular.
The late professor Randy Pausch (who gave a highly celebrated last lecture, and later, a NYT best seller, on achieving childhood dreams before his untimely death from pancreatic cancer) had a childhood dream of starring in Star Trek; he showed up in a cameo in the opening scene of the 2009 Star Trek reboot movie. He's the guy with the line: "Captain, we have visual". The movie was released after he passed away: he achieved his dream but could not see it himself.
Minor "point-of-interest" regarding the HG: Catching Fire entry. As a native Atlantan (there's, like, 3 of us native-born Atlantans left ;) ), let me give you a little hint about the name of that street. In Atlanta, we've modified/bastardized/"southern-ized" the pronunciation of Ponce Deleon Ave. Instead of the proper pronunciation of that name, locals pronounce it "ponce De LEEEON" - or, it is usually shortened to just "Ponce". In fact, we can always tell when we have new reporters on the local news broadcasts when they, uhmm, "mis"? pronounce it. Of course it's almost always (in)corrected by the next time you see them use the name ;) So, next time you're in the A-T-L, ask to go to the Krispy Kreme on "ponce de LEEON", and the cabbie probably won't overcharge you - as much ;). (oh, and then for a REAL treat, stop by the Clermont Lounge just down the road on Ponce, and catch "Blondie" and her act - you won't be disappointed. BWAHAHAHA!)
Shaun of the Dead or any of the Cornetto Trilogy is just covered in easter eggs, running gags from different platforms, foreshadowing of the whole film, character development in little details of background objects, uncredited cameos and a whole lot more.
If you look at the no. plate closely in some scenes of John Milner's car in American Graffitti it read THX1138 a reference to Lucas's previous film and of course it would go on to be one of his companies later on.
The original Blues Brothers car had a license plate that read BDR529. Dan Aykroyd belonged to a motorcycle club call the Black Diamond Riders. Their clubhouse was located at 529 Jarvis St in Toronto.
There are tons of nods to things in the Marvel Universe found in Guardians of the Galaxy. For example, Bereet (a Hulk character), Cosmo the Spacedog in the Collector's lair, and pretty much every character but Stan Lee's cameo has quite a presence in the MU.
In Captain America 2, the 3 airships are labeled IN01 IN02 and IN03, each representing a different year. IN01 is the airship that crashes into a building, IN02 is the one the good guys take control, and IN03 is the one that actually fires upon the population. This is a reference to the chain of events that leed to the war in Iraq, where 9/11 happened in 01, afghanistan is invaded in 02, and the population of the USA is fooled into war with Iraq in 03 (this is now a consensus, no WMDs were found).
Also in Ghost Protocol, when Ethan escapes the hospital and calls for help, the secure code given by him is "Alpha 113", which I believe is another reference to the room number.
The carpet pattern in the Toy Story franchise was the same carpet pattern used in The Shining. Also the room number in The Shining 237 (Don't know if that's the right number.) is used a couple times in all the 3 toy stories!
Did you know, Tony Stark is actually Iron Man? He blatantly announces it at the end of the first film but not every dad in the audience was awake that far in and probably missed it!
This one came from the actress Alex Kingston (Doctor Who,ER). In the first Avengers Age of Ultron Trailer as you see Black Widow going down the street on a Bike. She passes a Police Box which looks a lot like the Tardis from Doctor who. Another thing you should remember from this is Joss Whedon is a fan of British TV shows. In the UK the title of the first Avengers film had to be changed to Avengers Assemble as their was a TV series called the Avengers in the UK which Joss Whedon has admitted he is a fan of. The TV series isn't about superheroes but about spies.
There's the one in Pirates of the Caribbean, where in "Dead Man's Chest" at Tia Dalma , when she is searching for the jar of dirt, Jack Sparrow nicks a piece of jewelry and you can see her locket on the table which is the same as Davy Jones. However they don't reveal they are lovers until the next movie in "At Worlds ends"
in the film "The Core" near the beginning when the effects of the weakening magnetic field are being shown a bunch of birds go crazy, when they fly into a shop window, look carefully and you will see one of them is a fish
One of my favorites is in X-2, if you pause on the scene where Mystique is scrolling through Striker's computer to find Magneto, you will see Remy Lavoe(Gambit) Jamie Madrox(multiple man) Ororo Monroe(storm) these are just the ones from the movies. the other part of this is that there is a file Maximoff(2)(Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver) well you see these you don't see Magma, or Laura(Polaris) Magneto's wife and youngest daughter
+Scott Adam Mcnee Oh yeah, they burned the banner/flag from the original in that one. (Remember the scene at the end when the T-rex roars and the banner falls down.)
Also near the beginning of Ghost Protocol, when Tom Cruise calls an operative on a cell phone to escape, his access code he gives to the person on the other line is "A113".
You forgot another Richard Donner/Christopher Reeve easter egg in Man of Steel. When Superman is having his face stretched by the world engine there's a split second where his face morphs into Christopher Reeve's. It's one of my favourite easter eggs of all time.
The most obvious is the name of Max Schrek in Bat Man Returns. He was the actor in the original expressionistic Nosferatu and in many other movies that Tim Burton greatly admires. In His Girl Friday, Cary Grant is yelling at someone named Archie Leach. Archie Leach was Cary Grant's real name. (the name John Cleese uses in A Fish Called Wanda)
In my opinion, one of the best Hidden details is in Cloverfield, in the end scene where the tape cuts back to original footage that was taped over (aka the whole movie), the scene where the main character and his girlfriend (ex gf throughout the story) are seen up in a Ferris wheel and you can see something crash into the ocean iin the far right corner of the screen. This detail was extremely hard to spot, but shows how the aliens got on earth.. I found it unreal
Also during the Scarlet Witch visions in Age of Ultron: During Thor's vision, a brief glimpse of three figures wearing masks of animals can be seen. The three masks are, from left to right: wolf, ram and hart. This is a reference to the legal firm Wolfram & Hart from director Joss Whedon's tv show Angel.
There is a hidden Easter Egg in Godzilla(1998). During the Taxi chase scene, Matthew Broderick's driver's identification card is seen, and the name on the card is Armin Tamzarian- the real name of Principal Skinner in the Simpsons. Co-stars of the movie, Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer, both voice characters on the Simpsons- Shearer voicing Principal Skinner. There is also a cameo of Nancy Cartwright who voiced Bart Simpson, in which you can also see Harry Shearer.
I know that this could be just a coincidence, but in Inside Out right under the popular "find me" Finding Nemo Easter egg, there is a box that says "Dinosaur World," possibly a reference to the upcoming movie The Good Dinosaur, which takes place on an Earth where the Asteroid that killed the dinosaurs never hit, making the dinosaurs still rule the Earth.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban. When Ron and Harry are in Divination class and Ron looks in the tea leaves he makes a vague kind of slap dash prediction to Harry saying "you're gonna suffer, but you're gonna be happy about it" this is a nod to Deathly Hallows Part 2 when Harry is in the forbidden forest about to 'die at the hands of Voldemort. He was suffering great pain but happy that his friends didn't have to feel it anymore.
you should have mentioned the Thor and Hulk reference in the older hulk movie. where hulk gets struck by the lightning and thus engaging the antics in avengers
How about the reference to Binford Tools from ABC's Home Improvement in the original Toy Story? They also called the company selling Andy's house, "Virtual Realty", an obvious reference to and pun on virtual reality. Not to mention that they got the baby monitor receiver and speaker backwards!
In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Nick Fury's tombstone has the quote "The path of the righteous man... - Ezekiel 25:17" on it, a clear reference to his role in Pulp Fiction.
There is aother easter egg in the Age of ultron! When Tony Stark is getting ready for battle and picks up the drive containing the "friday" program, there is another drive on top of his table labled as "tadashi", which is a clear reference to big hero 6 ^^
I'm pretty sure in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, when Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter face off against each other with Professor Snape backing Malfoy and another teacher backs Harry (can't remember the name of the teacher). When Malfoy gets thrown back by one of Harry's spells you can actually see a camera in the crowd of students.Extra note- I'm unsure if you have mentioned this in one of your other videos.
Not sure if you've mentioned this reference before but when falcon first gets his wings in winter soldier and he catches that guy he was explaining possible threats found by zolas algorythm like Stephen strange or doctors strange as most know him
In interstellar, when Cooper discovers the secret Nasa base you can see NORAD written on a sign on the fence, and the car then going into a mountain entrance. This is a reference to a real base called Cheyenne mountain which houses NORAD, and is also the home of Stargate Command in the popular sci fi show Stargate SG-1. This isn't the first time that Cheyenne Mountain has been referenced as something more than just a military instillation....
In the avengers age of ultron at the end of the film you can see a not so small clue to a possible sequal. It shows a major crossover from the film guardians of the galaxy, the villain Thanos, who is the adopted father of one of the gaurdians, Gamora, makes an appearance where he states "if you want something done you have to do it yourself " guardians of the galaxy 2? Or the next avengers movie. Who knows
don't know if youve covered it. BUT in the 2009 JJ Abrams star trek , the bartender recommends Uhura get a drink called the "slusho" which is also another name for the monster in Cloverfield, which is a movie JJ produced. one character in Cloverfield even has a "slusho" T shirt
+Josh Bowman Another Cloverfield one is the bit at the end where the playback of the "incident" footage ends and you get to see the old footage on the tape that was being recorded over. You see the main cast at a fairground on a beach and in the distant background, you see the Cloverfield monster's ship hit the water.
In the batman movies if you pay REALLY close attention to every single scene you might have noticed that batman is actually Bruce Wayne
That's bullshit everybody knows Clark Kent is Batman and Bruce Wayne is Green Lantern
+David Maglioli NO WORNG.........batman is john cena......green lantern is hopefully dead, and Superman is spidermans lovechild.........fucking idiot
+Wisdom Bear WOW SPOILER ALERT
That's a lie every one know's batman is robin
Emilee Clark idiot, we are joking........
+Kirrilee Moore It would be awesome if it actually were a coincidence! :D
i think it's awesome in both cases ;)
Wasn't it a reference to book readers??Or wasn't the last book out when the goblet of fire was released?
Justin Ryan To my knowledge Rowling had just finished writing the last book around the same time as the premiere of the Order of the Phoenix. Was in a documentary called J K Rowling - A Year in the Life
+Kirrilee Moore
There are no coincidences.
I rarely catch things like this and love it when they are pointed out to me. Thanks!
The A113 reference also appears in the Catching Fire movie, I thought for sure you'd cover that one
Where!
I think it's just before Katniss blows out the arena on the screens when President Snow is watching, it's small, and in the corner
+Stephanie Halm I LOVE CATCHIG FIREEE
+Mine Matter mocking jaY PART TWO WAS MUCH BETTER.
+Stephanie Halm the Fast & Furious 4 Chevelle SS appears in Jack Reacher, as the car Jack drives, as it's made 3 years after Furious 4
Easter egg- in the first harry potter films you can clearly see harry wearing glasses, if you look closely, he's wearing the same glasses in film 2. coincidence? I think there's more at work here than just that...
+=spock and roll That's not an easter egg, that's just showing that the Dursleys won't buy him new glasses. :T
+Cake Blogger I was joking.
+=spock and roll really i did not know that what is the easter egg he probably duplicated them or enchanted them or lazered them nooooooooooo
Lol
0:38 "still had room for some fu..."

+Marblez3 FUN
+Marblez3 They had a small lunch so they went out for some pho

the incredibles 2 is suppose to be releasing some time in the coming years. I really hope they don't mess it up.
I like this channel. It's like watch mojo, but not absurdly obnoxious.
You mean 3 Harry Potter movies before the first Deathly Hallows, not 2
No he means 2 he said 2 full movies meaning after Goblet of fire finished there was 5 and 6 then Deathly Hallows
Morgan Jones No, if he meant that then he'd have said '3 films later' because the 3rd would be the deathly hallows part 1 because there are 2 films between it.
+Just a Quad Deathly Hallows part 1...where we first learned of the Hallows, if you are talking just about the movies.
+Just a Quad

Francis Lawrence did such a good job with Catching Fire. Seriously. Best adaptation from the franchise.
I was more amazed that black guy in Star Trek was a companion from Doctor Who
***** Did you know Luke is the Joker? And the guy who played Khan is also Sherlock and Doctor Strange?

Congrats with the 1M subscribers
:v no problem
Disappointed at how lame the hidden Catching Fire reference turned out to be.
The easter egg in "The Hunger Games" shows clearly how stupid that movie is.
No it doesn't, it show the cast are good friends and like to have fun in their free time
+Arlekin Vergeltungswaffe really? easter eggs are meant for the die hard fans to find and kinda laugh about and know more about the cast and crew. i simply think it doesn't change if the movie is stupid or not. maybe you are just ignorantly hating something that is so popular.
+Arlekin Vergeltungswaffe *scratches head* I fail to see the link between the Easter egg and how stupid the movie was.
+Arlekin Vergeltungswaffe DID YOU JUST CALL THE HUNGER GAMES STUIPED. HOW DARE YOU. XC
look who's talking
5:35 Ooh, I had no idea that Noel Clarke played in Star Trek. I've only seen him as Mickey.:)
Of course it's almost always (in)corrected by the next time you see them use the name ;)
So, next time you're in the A-T-L, ask to go to the Krispy Kreme on "ponce de LEEON", and the cabbie probably won't overcharge you - as much ;). (oh, and then for a REAL treat, stop by the Clermont Lounge just down the road on Ponce, and catch "Blondie" and her act - you won't be disappointed. BWAHAHAHA!)
i LOVED the Mocking jay part II!!!!
beautiful, i love Hunger games
nice list
Shaun of the Dead or any of the Cornetto Trilogy is just covered in easter eggs, running gags from different platforms, foreshadowing of the whole film, character development in little details of background objects, uncredited cameos and a whole lot more.
the one in Man of Steel too.. when Superman was trying to fly away from that big Machine.. Superman's face turns into Christoper Reeves a lil bit..
I love screen rant
"Tony Stark found the hard way that even his friends can't be trusted."
Yes.. very much.
"So was I"
Hey there. It's really awesome degree hop !
Cool video screen rant
It's simple. I see something about the hunger games, I click. ♥
This should be called: "Yet another list of the same topic that we've already made 100 videos on before."

The fact that there is a billboard for Superman vs. Batman in "I Am Legend" is pretty fucking cool.
There are tons of nods to things in the Marvel Universe found in Guardians of the Galaxy.
For example, Bereet (a Hulk character), Cosmo the Spacedog in the Collector's lair, and pretty much every character but Stan Lee's cameo has quite a presence in the MU.

Also in Ghost Protocol, when Ethan escapes the hospital and calls for help, the secure code given by him is "Alpha 113", which I believe is another reference to the room number.
1:37 looks like the Continental Hotel from John Wick, bringing Keanu back right there again
THX 1138 being featured in several sci-fi movies, often in obscure "blink and you'll miss it" locations
The Matrix Revolutions, damn. Now that's clever.
And Man Of Steel, Awesome
Great job! Regards from Moscow!
The carpet pattern in the Toy Story franchise was the same carpet pattern used in The Shining. Also the room number in The Shining 237 (Don't know if that's the right number.) is used a couple times in all the 3 toy stories!

I think this well known but the jeeps from Jurassic world are the same ones from the first film
Jeez I never knew that
And the dinosaur
+Scott Adam Mcnee In Jurassic World, Jake Johnson wore a 'Jurassic Park' t-shirt.
+Scott Adam Mcnee Oh yeah, they burned the banner/flag from the original in that one. (Remember the scene at the end when the T-rex roars and the banner falls down.)
+gondagirl yep best ending
Also near the beginning of Ghost Protocol, when Tom Cruise calls an operative on a cell phone to escape, his access code he gives to the person on the other line is "A113".

Guess what I figured out? Y'know that yellow gem on Vision's forehead?
INFINITY STONE! PLUS, THANOS IN EXTRA SCENE! COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!
4:14 I stayed in a house LITERALLY an 8 minute walk away from there
There is a hidden Easter Egg in Godzilla(1998). 05:38 OMG IS IT MICKEY FROM DOCTOR WHO??? WUZZEE DOIN?

Coincidences don't exist.Not in movies.
Oh yea a billboard advertising the movie Superman vs Batman was in I Am Legend. That was a pretty cool one.
The Matrix one was cool. I never noticed that.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban. When Ron and Harry are in Divination class and Ron looks in the tea leaves he makes a vague kind of slap dash prediction to Harry saying "you're gonna suffer, but you're gonna be happy about it" this is a nod to Deathly Hallows Part 2 when Harry is in the forbidden forest about to 'die at the hands of Voldemort. you should have mentioned the Thor and Hulk reference in the older hulk movie. where hulk gets struck by the lightning and thus engaging the antics in avengers
The part with Kirk's dad dying and being the reason the plots were different were very obvious
YAAY, Avengers: Age of Ultron! Do more!
How about the reference to Binford Tools from ABC's Home Improvement in the original Toy Story? They also called the company selling Andy's house, "Virtual Realty", an obvious reference to and pun on virtual reality. Not to mention that they got the baby monitor receiver and speaker backwards!

When Malfoy gets thrown back by one of Harry's spells you can actually see a camera in the crowd of students.Extra note- I'm unsure if you have mentioned this in one of your other videos.
I already new about the star trek one, but the rest were good.
also in mission impossible ghost protocol, when ethan needs extraction from the hospital, he goes to point "alpha 113" or "A113"
Not sure if you've mentioned this reference before but when falcon first gets his wings in winter soldier and he catches that guy he was explaining possible threats found by zolas algorythm like Stephen strange or doctors strange as most know him
A113 is sort of everywhere. Look for it on wikipedia, you'll see a fairly long list of movies and TV shows that feature the A113 cameo.
+ in matrix (no. 1) when morphius looks up, you can see studio lights.
Something that isn't hidden but is a bit obscure at this point is Tony Starks nightmare, which shows the future and the events of infinity war
2:00. Or maybe he just read the comics. LOL
In the last one age of Ultron you can see Mickey from Doctor Who!!!!
The part with Bruce Willis in Pearl Harbor is from Die Hard: With a Vengeance.

5:33 MICKEY!
Who knows
Was expecting the THX-1138 references in the Star Wars films.
Where?
i was expecting that message too.
don't know if youve covered it.
