Informative video. Those taking ADS try to stick to the lowest mg to prevent side effects. Heal yourself. Be careful what you feed your mind. There are only 2 problems in life--mind and the body. Reduce negative thoughts and overthinking. Avoid comparing with others, reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed, avoid moving too much and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Observe your breath sensations before sleep, in college, at work, taking a walk, when reading, etc.etc. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Best wishes--Counsellor.

It's not about if you can "meditate enough" and honestly I think that's a a old argument. I have literally done that most of my life and it's never helped long term. That's like telling a person with diabetes to stop taking medication and focus on themselves. It's literally a physical chemical imbalance in the brain, nothing to do with your awareness and how hard you breathe everyday. Hope that helps.

@@iknowyou6725 I myself went through hell 15 years back and recovered within 1 year with low mg medication, daily meditation, the right diet, positive affirmations and daily prayer. Today I am relaxed and enjoying life. Strctly avoid benzos as they are habit forming. I said to stick to the lowest mg. Diabetes is specific so medication is specific. Even at this moment as I type this msg I am observing my breath sensations. I am enjoying it. It is so simple--why not make it a habit? Breathing also increases the serotinin levels in the brain. Read my msg and do the practice daily. Read about positive effects of breathing on the mind on google. Best wishes are with you.

hey dude! i just found your channel and i WISH i had sooner. like you, i was diagnosed with anxiety and depression, and have been medicated since i was a teenager. lexapro has been my saving grace for the past 5 years. while i have my bad days (more like weeks, months), I am glad to still have something sort of balancing out the amplified thoughts in my mind. it is also the one medication ive been on without gruelling side effects. I know its not a permanent solution, but I am so happy you found something that makes life a bit easier.
on a side note, you DJ?? and you have the same controller and interface as me lmao!! it's crazy, like im looking at a mirror image of myself but in my reflection, i see a really knowledgable, talented, and down-to-earth guy. here's to a brighter future, im manifesting it for you 💙

Hay ! I have been diagnosed with GAD and taking 20mg daily from last 3 weeks.
I have some side effects like constipation, problem urinating ,low sex drive but my anxiety is very less compare to pre medication. I still got intrusive thoughts at times but it's kind of easy to ignore them now.
Best of luck for your future :)
