- Michael Musto's birthday party is being held on the same night as Susanne Bartsch's New Year's Eve party for CBS-TV. Nelson and Lahoma and Larry Tee went to that party first and in this video are headed over to Michael Musto's birthday party at El Morocco where Michael's special guests include a local celebrity of that day Sukreet Gable and 1950s crooner Eddie Fisher. The truth of it is that those folks were infantile and immature and incredibly self-centred pricks. Some of them became very successful, some of them (Albert) dwindle in obscurity, some of them literally became murderers (Alig). Nelson was a special man to navigate those assholes.
@@daisybluegroff Very true !!! I was 30 in 1983 and had a "real job", acted with responsibility and professionalism. I would have considered these people "degenerate freaks". It boggles by mind that some of these people became wealthy and famous. I wish I could go back in time and be a true, loving friend to Nelson.

His comments at the start about nukes, the Trumps, Russia, etc. were one of those where I really would have loved to hear what he'd say today.

Apparently Dick hadn't been uploading the videos himself, he just had all the tapes. Someone else was uploading them. I'm guessing whoever that is doesn't have access to the tapes right now. Larry Tee said on Instagram he thinks they'll continue to be uploaded.

Bunch of phonies. A scene built on look at me and "I'm invited too.." opposed to real people getting down and having fun. Boring, , I know I Had more real and fun 88 than these people. Nelson was pretty cool but the scene he orbited was vacuous.
She tries so hard for attention singing but has zero range unfortunately.
