this lady has an awesome voice. I read a few post about poor timing. I've been a drummer for over 50 years with studio experience. This girls timing is NOT off! She may not be doing it exactly like Patsy did, but is not off in her timing I promise you
A singer doesnt have poor timing ever imo. I was taught the instrumentalist keep up with the singers beat. So reduce mess ups and recover from one better if occured.

You are spot on Sir! My wife and I are from Australia and we were lucky enough to catch her very first appearance at the Opry way back. She was so great and we got to talk to her backstage as we were a guest. I have all her CD'S.

She’s a terrific singer! A great voice, great pitch, and I really like how far behind the beat she sings. It’s reminiscent of Patsy, but a great performance on its own.
Saw her in person years ago Stood up at the the end of the show and asked her to sing Hurt she did . Asked her to record it I guess she finally did . Fantastic

A stunning woman, w/ an equally stunning voice. She should be a bigger name. And the way she sings Patsy Cline's hits, WOW!! Mind, blown. She puts her own stamp on it, but still sounds so much like Patsy it's incredible.

I'm sure she's a newcomer to these videos and frankly, I was surprised at how very good she is...This isn't an easy song to sing and Mandy does it very well...
We saw her do the Always Patsy show at the Ryman in Nashville about 24 yrs ago. We couldn't tell the difference between her voice & Patsy's then. TV show & her fellow artists sitting around may be intimidating. She is still the best. Her album we have is also pretty good.
She's an actress that played the part of Patsy Cline in a play. I'm sure she was cast because she has a great voice, but I'm equally sure she was trained to sing like Ms Cline.
Her voice and breath control are excellent.

Several comments about vocal timing on a Willie Nelson composition? Mandy Barnett placed her voice right where she wanted it. She has sung it hundreds of times, if not thousands. Her Sweet Dreams album with this song is outstanding.

It is natural to love the voice of someone that has taken a song and recorded it making it the accepted sound however, that is not to diminish the quality of another artist from singing that song. She is a fantastic singer and she does the song Justice if not, the great artist that made the song the popular standard.❤️

Beautiful Voice and it does Patsy justice but it would be so much better if she kept the same timing as the original. My opinion is that some thing's are just sacred when it comes to music and Crazy by Patsy Cline is absolutely one of them.
Mandy is a great singer who should be a bigger star. Gail Bliss sounds just as good or better singing Patsy Cline songs - check her out, you will be happy you did.
Not quite the depth and range as Patsy but very close. In fact close enough for me. Plus she has the beauty that I really like.

Before this video I saw one of her singing Walking The Floor and the start of it had a jazz feel to it. This rendition of Crazy seems similar. There is a slight jazz feel to it and that may be why it seems as if the timing is off compared to what you might expect.
