We’re on vacation this week up in Maine, and we were greeted with a lovely blanket of snow today! Watch as I create my first snow angel of this season!
Watching from my phone because I lost power from the storm but it is beautiful outside. Being a life long Mainer my first thought is always that I have to shovel the snow. Glad to see you enjoying yourselves!
I'm in VT Doug and with 2' of snow two weeks ago and a little over 1' today all I have to say is F winter/spring/winter...whatever. Love your content Doug.
My Mom was born Ashland, Maine - about a 3hr 20min drive north of your snow angel. Ive visited there several times, but never in the winter! ;) Thanks for this! :)
You may remember that when we did these as kids we were probably wearing snow pants....😅 You're right though, it was really pretty but I could have done without losing power for 3 days in NH. Arcadia in winter ...or Spring, is always beautiful
I have a sister who retired from the coast guard and her last duty station was Mt Desert Island. Acadia was just a few miles from where she lived. It is absolutely beauty country, but you need to be pretty hearty folk to live there.
Snow is heavy and i lost a tree in my backyard, but that is what happens when you have an Apr No'Easter. At least it missed the pool and the trampoline.
Though he, and some of his family, live here, in Tennessee, now, my Stepdad and his family, are from the Portland area. We Southerners have never experienced a Maine snowfall; however, several years ago, in mid-Spring, we were there, and there were still areas of snow, on the ground.
Two snow tips: 1) Watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat that yellow snow! 2) Watch out for fur trappers who are strictly commercial (strictly commercial). Greg in TN 😀
Hey Doug, don't know if you'll respond, but have you ever really listened to the Four Seasons? I know they usually aren't musically complex, but I did just come across their 1969 counterculture prog psychadelia album "The Genuine Imitation Life Gazette" and wondered if you'd be into it.
And no writing your name in the snow Doug, remember what Frank Zappa said 😂😂😂

that's actually one of the better snow angels I've seen. 10/10 worth the wass.
Thom would have loved this so much!❤
Watching you from Ellsworth, Maine. I work on the island but I won't be there today. That is my favorite place I've been to so far in my 61 years.
Nice to see somebody from this area who watches Doug! Lamoine checking in here.
You are in a beautiful area of Maine. We got a foot of snow in the Eastern Townships (Southern Québec) Enjoy the snow y'all!😉
The best part of the snow is when it's fresh on the trees and looks pristine.
Have a great vacation Meg and Doug!
Nothing beats a snow angel in God’s country!❤
Do we really need to force some mythology into a fun and light hearted video? Jesus. lol
Beautiful! You're young at heart, Doug! Love to you & Megan & have fun!
Man I love watching your videos!! You're awesome! Have a nice stay in this beautiful place ;)
"alright, kids" awwwww so cute :3
Great to see that you both have a good time for yourself (◍•ᴗ•◍)
Soggydoug! Glad your back was up for this. Time for hot chocolate and an epidural...
I knew you were in Maine when you showed that moose lol. I live by the big bridge on Verona Island. Welcome to Maine my friend! 🤗
That was epic Doug. And you're technique is flawless. A marvel! Thanks man I needed some silly. And I hope you are feeling O.K.
😂 man I sure don’t miss living up north. Thanks for the reminder Doug!
Welcome to Maine Doug! Lots of good food and beer here!😃

I'd imagine that this is the last significant snowfall of the season. Once May comes around it's going to feel like true spring.
One can only hope. Mother Nature has a sick sense of humor.
As a mainer, I 100% approve!

Haha brilliant! Enjoy the rest of your trip
Enjoy your stay! (And be glad that you don't have a driveway!)
We got pummeled here in Minnesota last week. Now it's all gone.
Spectacular!
Love from just down the road a bit...glad to see you're enjoying our version of spring here in Maine😂 Happy Nor'Easter brotha😉🤣
Great snow angel, Doug. You two seem like so much fun. If you are ever in Edinburgh I'd love to buy you two several whiskeys :)
I live in Fort Kent Maine. Support from the north!!!!!
Classic!☃
"It's a wass" 😄
I love it after it snows and it's all quiet

As a Wisconsinite, I give you a mighty stamp of approval on that snow angel. Excellent job there good sir!

You, my friend, strike me as someone who like simple, but powerful music. I highly, HIGHLY recommend an ost named Majinō.

Fun!
I'm in Montreal, we also had some snow this morning, about 8 inches (20 cm). 2 days ago we had spring temperatures and plants where starting to grow!

Yes! Marry Christmas!😅 from Rome A Snowy April it's Very Strange!!! All The Best! Giovanni
I would agree, awesome snow angel. But, it looks a bit strange... huge arms and legs but a tiny head.😁
Nice
Doug... Old people like me and you shouldn't be doing things like this. Plus mine would only be one legged 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Merry Christmas from Denmark. Here it´s just raining all the time, maybe i can do a jellyfish (called waterman in danish)
Welcome to Maine! Did you get to stay for the eclipse?
what about a 50h summer trip to california lol

Looks more like a shooting location for CSI Maine...
