one time i made a space station around the moon however kinda unrealistic cause i docked all parts in earth orbit and used a large rocket docked to the station to get it to moon orbit
@@Pingvin-wx6sm it's actually part of the gateway plan to be built in leo, not the entire station but most parts, also i did that too using what the gateway will have as a propulsion system (i tried to do a visual and funtional realistic Gateway) to get it to moon orbit. it's just easier this way considering also that gateway will not be a big station
As someone that played a bunch of kerbal space program, this warms my heart that there’s a mobile game to simplify it for people that don’t want to deal with the heavy physics of KSP
@@sokol1235I don't play ksp bcs my PC does not allow so I played the cheap version of ksp. Juno And I can say SFS is very Easy compared to both Juno And KSP.
Tip: Use RCS thrusters to adjust the side velocity which will come when you are landing. Edit: Side Velocity is to be 0 when landing, I hope this tip helps

At the very first versions, KSP was just about getting as high as you can, there wasn't the Mun yet. I think HarvesteR (ksp's first developer) only added better physics and the Mun months later. As he said himself, KSP was a simpler game intended to introduce players to Orbiter, which was the most popular game (or maybe the only that existed) of this genre at the time.

I remember not knowing how to land on the moon in this game and ksp, so I would just set a collision course straight for it and ram the moon/mun at several times the speed of sound. I would also go straight up and turn to be parallel with the Earth/Kerbin to orbit. Good times... good times...

I haven't tried this yet but I'm pretty sure you can go to Mars and back with just the three stage rocket you just have to do a good bit of gravity assists. Because I've managed to get to Mars with this three-stage rocket without enough fuel to get back.

Much easier way to get an encounter with the moon(yes it works ive tried it many times): 1) time warp till the moon is 90° above the earth 2)start your rocket and continue vertically upright till you see an encounter 3)turn to the opposite side of your trajectory and perform a deorbiting maneouvre once you reach the moons sphere of influence. 4)slow down and land 5)mama ja pupsik 6)privet pupsik.

Ok so im a past SPS player turned a KSP player...good tutorial 🗿👍 Alto i wish the landing legs acted more like landing legs rather than *PEGS* Seeing how fix they are renind me of the Fixed Plane Wheels from KSP which are a nightmare to work with
i once reached saggitarius a with only vanilla engines and all other blocks, saggitarius a is only reachable if you have the milky way mod otherwise it wont be there
SFS is just KSP on budget Love playing both of them I love how SFS is simple and easy to understand meanwhile KSP it was hell getting to orbit let alone going to MUN (Before any one starts correcting me I misspelled MOON no I didnt in KSP MOON is called MUN)
I use the 3 stage then I remove the kolibri engine and separator and connect them to the 2nd stage add legs to the second stage add turn the side fuel tanks into boosters add one more fuel tank to middle 1St stage and add a 2 fuel tank hawk engine booster to each side this can complete the three destination moon challenge
I time warp to where to moon is right above me and I use my fist 3 stages to get enough height to get to the moon then I use my final stage to get to the moon and slow down my velocity the I land and have enough fuel to reenter then use a parachute to land back safely
I'm the only one knows this that you can go up straight until you encounter the moon and move yourself until you hit the moon and slow down until you land on the moon and done your on the moon

Me as a beginner trying to fly to the moon manually without any navigation (I failed every time)

I did that in KSP once and I did actually make it, albeit with possibly the most overkill rocket ever. But y'know I was like, 7 at the time.
You can also use revert 30 sec or 3 min but quick save better because it might crash Teh game
I started off with SFS before switching to KSP and I’m glad I learned the basics of Orbital Mechanics and Space Flight before playing it

I have a one that is EXTREMELY COMPLICATED:
It has an orbiter.
It has a Lander module and,
It has a ROVER
Unless you want to land in a specific spot you should a for the moon not beside it to save fuel

Now try doing it calculating the transfer window (I’ve done it before)
