I found that the amount of pressure you put on your Individual fingers .. helps to create specific movement .. index finger pressure gives me more arm side movement.. ring finger pressure gives me more vertical movement.
For me what is nice about developing a sinker is that your change-up seems to get better in the process. For me I throw a sinker and a circle change and my circle change became more of a devin williams screwball change-up after I got comfortable with pronating over my sinker early. My change-up almost became a slower version of my sinker.

I run my sinker grip with my fingers following the seams, and ever since I’ve done that it’s gained movement
