Oh Absolutely 💯 because emergencies definitely do happen out of nowhere right, Definitely a must-have in your budget..Good thing is Atlanta is good city to quickly bounce back financially even after a few obstacles, I've experienced it ..😃🙌🏾

I came with a positive mind set…it’s more than just thinking positive…it’s that hustle…side gig mentality…I gotta get mine forget you attitude that doesn’t make it a very community friendly city…Yea it has some good points… but if you not living in that 6 figure income here you will struggle and be around people that act like crabs in a barrel…You are fighting for the best resources, which are next to none….And all the hustle and gigs are inundated with people looking for the same hook up. if you are twenty thirty something,…in college yes these side hustles are great….but older people just don’t want to be still hustling side gigs, do your research on these gig jobs. They pay next to nothin, you ride around putting wear and tear on your car and body, so i decided to try work instead of gigs. Do your research….stressing yourself out with these low pay side gigs and hustle is more stressful. Do do do your research….who wants to be a hustler their whole life. This is a way to burn you out. That’s why I regret Atlanta….the hustle mentality is detrimental to long term growth.

Very true. Gig workers and side hustlers are no way to live.

@@coachcarroll963 There are so many of these UA-camrs who makes it think that getting a hustle is the answer to not liking Atlanta, and in non of my videos do I discuss not liking Atlanta because I can’t find work, or have money issues . It’s that hustle, “gig mentality”, “get it out the mud”, hustle and bustle spirit that makes SOME Atlanteans lake soft social skills, making them seem harsh, and unapproachable. We in California call it culture shock, but I’m not a youngster, I have lived in Mormon country, and Texas, but Atlanta hits different….maybe it’s all the cemeteries on every corner like liquor stores….😏😂

I understand your point of view, however you don't have to make 100k to live and enjoy Atlanta...It's all about A POSITIVE MINDSET. Anywhere you move, you will face some of the same issues but if you can find a happy medium, but with a positive mindset, and creativity, you will learn how to "make Atlanta work for you"
You right! Side hustles is not a way to live, but a way to "stay afloat" or create a side account to put aside extra money to do things in ATLANTA. You can't enjoy the city without actually getting involved with different people, events, different avenues......You also don't have to "break the bank" to survive either. It doesn't matter the age, it's about accomplishing goals you set for yourself!
I hope your perspective changes and that you can start to utilize what the city has to offer!! 🙂 You gotta have a plan!

@@coachcarroll963 This is very true! Gig work is a way to "stay afloat" creating a full living is definitely based on your decision, If you start to sew seeds, set new goals, plan to get a new hobby or so, and then get to mix with the other people living here that share common interests, not just of your same caliber, but other people here, You will see the different ways to "Make Atlanta work for you".....Use gig work funds to go to events, small gatherings or outings, try new restaurants, it's just time to reset!

@@ATLBudgetMom I did have a plan and that plan fell through due to this “hustle mentality” . I am now on to plan B. I am a very positive person, but also realistic. I am offering my perspective about Atlanta too. It’s not always about thinking positive, it’s about offering a way to connect with like minded people through your testimony. And native Atlanteans get defensive instead of being approachable to discuss some of the issues that keep coming up on social media about Atlanta. Didn’t mean to offend your state or point of view…Heck you should see the small town I came from. This is why I am making it due to my positive outlook. But reality is……🐝🌎💪🏼🌼💛💯
