I dont remember HP levels being that high back then. they must have changed something, because I remember having much lower HP as a tank back when i did this fight. (I mostly came as BRD, BLM, or BLU, since the other roles were easier to fill. I think I did it once as RDM. But BRD and BLU made the fight almost easy. BRDs increased slow effect, or BLUs constant stun spam, makes healing the tank much more reasonable)
1st time doing it, my hands were shaking, and completely soaked with sweat. But looking back, ive never actually wiped in this fight before, despite the common tactic was to wipe, since this was the only boss that pretty much wont regen HP after u stop fighting it, to have the whole PT recover from weakness. I made an LS solely to get random ppl in town through CoP, because CoP was fun to do over and over for me. But, out of all the fights, the only 2 I had issues with on a regular basis, were; the 3 mammets fight (I thinkt hats what they were called) due to ppl not having gear or SJs. (not because the fights hard. easily cheesed with Hi-Potion+3s being spammed) then the 3 mithra fight, due to the easier strats requiring jobs most ppl dont have leveled, and in the same way, the pot fight, also because ppl dont have SJs/jobs leveled to make it easier. every other fight, it was just enough for me to change to the required job needed, and wed get through on the 1st try, or at least within 3 tries. But when Id need at least another person to be aon a required role, and i was already filling one of them, there wasnt much i could do to make up for it. but it was fun as heck
