IMO one of the greatest guitar intros of ALL time.
It is. Absolutely filthy.
Yes👍🎸
It's mind-boggling that they are still alive and kicking; what a great sight - 60 years!! I'm 69; they've been rocking and rolling my whole life - astounding.
It's mind-boggling that they are still alive, period.
Live love and leave a legacy the Rolling Stones have certainly done that and more as buddy guy said thank god they came along my father came from an West Indian island called Montserrat in 1955 he was 20 years old I was born here 1964 as the old man use to say son it was unheard of 1964 ready steady go watching five white guys playing the blues they put the music on the map of the world great band glad I was born in a revolution and in the time of the greatest rock n roll band in the world the Rolling Stones ✊
I know right. I’m forty. That means they’ve been rocking way before. And still not slowing down.
@@Skanawan4 there certainly was Laurie I’ve still got the old mans 7 single of there first no1 it’s all over now with good times and bad times as the b side had the pleasure of working for them as a driver I always go back to the catalogue timeless music be well ✌️
But I cant see Bill??
Love Ronnie's Bum Note!
When Keith began the opening riff I shouted yes so loudly everyone around me looked at me 🤣
I was at this show and the energy of the concert was amazing. So many people from different walks of life coming together to appreciate the stones. I’m so glad I got to see them, and that they played this song!
I went to the one in Paris Longchamps and felt exactly the same, well put. Priceless experience!
Yes their shows are amazing. I saw them in Tel Aviv in 2014.
My wife and I were there. We're both Stones fanatics, and we were electrified when Keef starting that riff. When Mick came in we were right with him, shouting "y'all got cocaine eyes" at each other. True love!
I’m not a huge RS fan, but nobody has ever come close to Keith’s riff making virtuosity. Dozens of instantly-recognizable riffs.
Right !! A real Riff Wizard !!
Keef riffffhard
Keith looks & sounds most on his game than ever I have heard him sound of late...perfection!
no kidding!
I saw it to he is cranking on all fingers and it’s a nice day ,not to hot ,but they played hot.
Tight for sure!
He’s stopped drinking and smoking.
SPOT ON DIANE !
I was there last night and can not describe how great the atmosphere was. They rocked literally rocked. Lost my voice from 😱 screaming and singing so no talking for me today.
Superb! One of the more challenging songs in their repertoire!
I dont think they have played this since the fonda theater when they played the sticky fingers album 2015?
@@keeponrollin7922 they played it a few times on the zip code tour in 2015 and the last time in South America in 2016
This song is by Mick Taylor!
Keith strides out and hits those opening Riffs, just so cool, 80 years old next year, the man has a 100 lives.
FANTASTIC. LOVE IT! KEEP GOING IF YOU CAN!
What about Mick? He's the same age and he's dancing away the entire time and not out of breath at all while singing.
Full marks to the sound guy for keeping them all in check.. Keith was whacking the shit out his guitars last night.. amazing show. They still knock it out of the park.
Sadly missing Charlie on this song. No pop.
Keith is not lead guitarist
@@PeaceandQuiet12345 Keith is rhythm and lead. The first seven years he was lead guitarist.
So so good to actually see Keith PLAY his guitar and not just strum one chord
@@tb522 yeah definitely missing something. Has to be Charlie. People don’t realize what a major part of their he was. R.I.P. Charlie Watts❤️🙏
Wow! What a night! That's a perfect setlist!! Ever. Rambler, plus Knocking? AND Sympathy as the encore? Holy Hell Fire!! GOD EXISTS!! Thank you so much Matt! Cheers mate!!!
Almost Perfect, it missed Brown Sugar to the party become full.
@@futureintime Excellent point. You're right. Check mate.
If they have another black replace one of the group, the
band SHOULD be called"Brown Sugar".
The most perfect setlist!
No, God does NOT exist outside of your mind.
I was there & it was fantastic to hear live! People saying it’s not as good as Glastonbury & other shows etc, let’s remember that was 10 years ago. Let’s just enjoy this amazing band no matter what they do, whilst we can! Thanks for uploading.
Word!🧡
I love the filming of the concerts as well. It really keeps me engrossed.
The Best Rock & Roll Band that has ever walked this Planet. Brilliant 🙏🏻
Yay Ronnie and Keith! Long live rock and roll!
I'm asking for a friend, Mick, go on vacation live your life for You, I as a fan have enjoyed your talent through the decades, I'm 65 yesterday, I still have Your first album, it's time to sail on, Love you Mick!
Anyone please help me to find the answer for one question: HOW does it possible to perform like this in almost 80??? I just watched some live videos from 80s where they already were smth around 40 and then I got this video and NOTHING IS CHANGED!!! Just tell me how… Absolutely unbelievable
They are just 'special'..
There can be no other explanation.
The only guess I have is they simply LOVE what they do, Lord knows, they don't need the money.
As I get old with them, they have become my inspiration.
Gonna live to 120.
No tienen nada de artrosis. No les duele las rodillas. No tienen pérdida de equilibrio.
It's their passion for it. How many people do we know that get to do what they absolutely love for a living. Not everyone's blessed to have that.
Une main s’est posée sur Jagger et Richards ; pour écrire ces chansons à trois accords il faut une inspiration et une vision de la vie exceptionnelle. J’ai 67 ans, un AVC et je dois les écouter tous les jours, comme un médicament. Merci.
Onions. Good for the blood.
WOW! This is pure Rolling Stones
Well goddam. I'll be watching Keith totally nail that intro on repeat for weeks. What a sight!
A difficult song to play as a unit for them in their 20’s!
This is tight as ever 🌟
From s distance and by sound of his voice, Mick Jagger never changes?????
Sensational I gotta say. . Just wish MT was there. Ah well. 😎🎸👍🏻
This song has more than half a century and this still manage to make it sound good, remarkable!
Brilliant work by Ronnie!
The stones are still rockin and jammin 🎉🎉. Keith and Ronnie are just simply amazing and awesome 🎉🎉. They are brilliant musicians 🎉🎉
That's just why they will always be "The Greatest Rock and Roll Band"
Even though Mick doesn't like the band being called the best we can't help but think they are still the best lol
Led Zeppelin is the best.
@@bobhope3716 there is no single best but there are "bests." The Stones, led zeppelin, beatles. It's why we call it "classic" rock n roll
@@iambeloved496 Led Zeppelin.
@@bobhope3716 lol
Astonishing performance of a song from 'Sticky Fingers' (1971) - one of their best albums. Who would have thought they would still be performing this nearly 50 years after I first saw them play live at Stafford and Knebworth.
Keith ripping those opening chords, too cool!!
One of the best riffs evah. It's the riff that made me want to learn to play guitar.
Agreed, too bad these guys can’t play it though. Really need Mick Taylor to do it right.
@@pferderber Definitely not Mick on the intro riff on Sticky. It's Keith with what sounds like a LP Custom run through a cranked Fender Champ. Most importantly the cranked Fender Champ.
@@pferderber Keith provides the STRUCTURE of the songs, the 2 Mick's can develop freely, two soloists. All together -
THE ROLLING STONES.
Later M.Jagger is the MAIN ACTOR.
Rock'n'Roll rock solid, without a doubt. But the interaction between the two was special.
My favorite Stones song. Fan for 50 years. Enjoyed this version a lot. Thanks.
It's one of my favorites too. And it is generally overlooked. And apparently they were to end the song less than 3 minutes, and end right before the jam. But the did jam and the recording continued until the end. Upon re-listening they decided to keep the extended jam.
My appreciation for it strong, but it also reminds me that I asked for the record (Sticky Fingers) for my birthday present from my unmarried slightly prissy Aunt. There was a big family party for my birthday and for the first time, I got to choose what music was played. Of course we played the hell out of SF. Later in the party I wandered into the grownup gathering upstairs. The Aunt who gave me the record then announced to everyone in the living room (esp. me): "I don't understand what the name of the album means --'Sticky Fingers' ". I was just drunk and whatever enough to explain it to her and show her the album cover, real zipper and all. From then on she gave me sweaters for my birthday.
@@djtoona Hilarious, thanks for sharing. 🤣
I'm 65 and Satisfaction and Get Off My Cloud always bring back great childhood memories...
ONE AMAZING BAND PERIOD
I saw them Live 40 years ago and they weren’t young then either !
Love to see Keith mash those chords he never left the Garage, sloppy and sizzling an inspiration to us all.
So true!!👍👍👍👍
Short and sweet. Changed up a bit since the last time it was brought out… never will recapture it during Licks 02/03 loved that version.
I like the Black Crows' cover of this too. Specially with the air in the concert venue filled up with smoke.
To see them play this live - one of mine and my wife's favourite Stones songs ever - was beyond words. Thanks Matt for recording and sharing this masterpiece.
Imagine it with Mick Taylor !
@@SpookyFox1000 The beauty of the YT platform is that with a few taps on your Android phone you don’t need to imagine Taylor playing CYHMK w/ the Stones;…you can see him do that on numerous live cuts.
Way, way, pass their prime. This should be their last go … Before they come irrelevant characterizations of them selves
I never heard it before
Mick Taylor played this Song with the Stones on the 50 years and counting tour. Absolutely nailed the solo as per the recording
I love Ronnie Wood but he always looks a little nervous when he has to play a Mick Taylor part !! LOL
@@frankporfidio9813 As he should be,when you try to copy perfection .
@@Henry.58 Mick always nailed it!
Ronnie butchered it sadly.
One of my favorite Stones songs but I always dread listening to Mick Taylor’s solo as he flubs the notes at 5:32 into the song and I have always wondered why it wasn’t re-recorded. Ronnie Wood’s solo continues along the same path with a less than perfect performance, sorry to say, as my total admiration goes out the Stones for still performing into their 80s.
RONNIE IS UNBELIEVEABLE !!! 👋👋👋👋👍👍👍👍
All these comments they were better with Charlie, Mick Taylor, Bobby ect ect just accept them as they are and embrace the fact that the world is a much better place with the Rolling Stones in it and still performing.
Keith has been on top form in the recent tour!
Matt Lee did it again! The quality of your videos are amazing! On tour with the Rolling Stones. Grazie mille Matt!!!
Yes millionaires watching billionaires…
Rock n roll indeed.
@@Liam-lw9hq The Stones are NOT billionaires. Mick and Keith are worth about $500 million each. The only billionaire musician is Paul McCartney.
Man, I love this band! ❤️
Ronnie's solo was the best part in this particular performance. I just wished he would've dragged it out longer, like in other live recordings
Wow ! This is great Matt Thank you for allowing me a die hard rolling stones fan to see them and hear the perform. Great video work .. t y. As for The Rolling Stones what can I say they are The GREATEST as always I can't hear them & not find a huge smile on me face
wow! Keith Killin it!
Hey Hey, My My, Rock'n'roll will never die... basically. Amazing. RIP Bobby Keys & Charlie.
Its crazy how good Jagger still is in his 80's
Incredible Stones.
It always fascinates me that especially Keith & Mick have lived an epic lifestyle for over 50years before they were even 20.
Go get 'em Keith! Long live the Stones!
They need to include at least 3 songs from Sticky Fingers album on this shows. The First live CYHMK version without Charlie on drums, but I like it. It only missed Brown Sugar, hugely and sorely missed.
Well , they have another gig next month, same place… We hear they might be doing something special that night.
They ditched Brown Sugar ! When Mick went woke ! Sad to see these Rebel's conform over something so stupid. Still that being said they were and still are #1 to me.
The riff master reigns in ‘22 🤯🙏🏻❤️
Wonderful beautiful strong song we love you best band of the world ❤
I saw them, in 1981 (Hartford Civic Center) and they're better now. In '81 they had just a fraction of the energy they had in this show.
🥂 Cheers!! And to think Mick, Keith and Wood are on the edge of 80 years old! Mind boggling. Turns out that they really did withstand the test of time. Bravo mates, Bravo!! "The Greatest".
I could have sworn Keith was going to play some collective soul there for a minute
Great sound !
Please play any video with Charlie on the skins and then revisit this comment
@@tb522 Get over him and move on.
One my favorite opening guitar licks.
Wonderful! Great! 50 years or more after "Sticky Fingers " and Mr. Charlie Watts had gone. Sound powerful and their physical shapes are amazing !! I love you with respect from Tokyo Japan. Good Stones forever !!
Knocking at a white door 70 year old can you hearing it when you are knocking must say Bravissimo ☆☆☆☆☆
Watching this with baited breath hoping that it continues to the end perfect especially Ron solo but of course it does(should have known👌) Take a bow everyone, you've made a poor boy cry Sheer magnificent ❤
Los más grandes de la historia del mundo mundial.
Matt Lee - your work is masterful brother! kudos!!
Great night. Knackered now hahahaha
Us too. I dread to think how the stones are feeling! Glad you enjoyed.
They are freaking ageless!!!
How many bands can say they've been together for 60 years? The Rolling Stones look older but they have this great back catalog to play in concert.
Baaaaaaad to their Pirate bones! God bless these bad ass rockers.
Gotta be one of the best intros ever ❤
Got to be the best open G intro of all time.
I don’t know why people slag on Ronnie or any of these boys doin this up there as septuagenarians they are killing it! It’s not about replicating Mick Taylor, it’s about playing live music and the best part is watching how they all are still just jamming with each other each night. Of course it’s rehearsed, that’s what every band does, you rehearse and they you go do a show! They are live, spontaneous and always surprising themselves and us! I would have loved to have been at that show! Absolutely killer!
Oh wow what an amazing exciting sax somehow mind blowing🇫🇮😳
Got to hear them do this on the Licks Tour in Houston Reliant Stadium ( NRG now) it was amazing then. Ron Killed the solo. Still sounds great almost 20 years later .
We were there! 60s Years Playing good and very Good Concert Thanks! And God Bless You Guys!
Jagger still got the moves like Jagger. One of my RS faves, makes my day to have this groove in my head. Thanks guys!!!
Great tune. Ronnie played a nice edgy solo but with this song I need to hear Mick Taylor. End of story.
They can still rock out. Amazing.
That Ronnie Wood sure knows how to make a mess of the solo.So many fluffed notes it sounded like me trying to play it.Keef though ,different class.
Only one word needed..... perfection
-Have always loved the Stones, to me they are as natural as the sun and the moon. I expect them to be here each
morning I wake up. Thank Thor, they are. Despite bum notes and everything; they are The Greatest Rock and Roll Band EVER!🥰 EVER!!!
What a fantastic video of my favorite Stones song! Thank you very much!!
I went to jail because of this song. I just got my new Bose 901's. Hung them from the ceiling and cranked them to 40 watts. I knocked pictures off the wall next door. Don't need to describe the fight. My friend had cash to bail me out. It turned to be a great night. I love this song.
GOAT
That's some of the finest guitar playing I've ever heard!
Thanks again Matt....great song...superb performance !!
I was here last night, what an amazing performance! they absolutely smashed it 👌 I feel so lucky to have seen them, keep at it 😉
The best music ever made
Great piece of videoing, thanks. What a fantastic night it must have been!!! Perfection from all and great to see Mick recovered very well xx
as always, a big thank you! greetings from Germany !!!
Thanks for sharing this intimate groooving version of the song. So great!!! Looking forward to the the show in Vienna. All the best and keep on rocking
Great footage, love this tune. Hopefully we’re gonna get this one in Amsterdam also.
Big Thanks for your uploads, looks and sounds nice.
One of my best liked Rolling Stones 's title. Not easy to play, live but it's really a pleasure to hear this song from sticky fingers in such way played.
The very start of the riff IS super with Keith and Charlie....!
That was worth the price of admission. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for getting this up so quickly! Great!
Great upload, Matt!
Masterpiece 💥💯💥.. Thanks for sharing... Greetings from Croatia 👍
Wow. I don't know who this Matt Lee fellow is, but he sure makes top-drawer live Rolling Stone videos.
Awesome 👏! Thanks Matt!
I was there. Brilliant concert.
Saw them in Amsterdam: again great!! And i was prepared for some woodrot. Nope: fabulous show! Hats of!
Sehr schön, mich gerne an 2014 als wir landen beim Konzert waren
Great sound....grazie mille!
Great British Blood . Bloody Amazing 👏
