The CGI video tour at the end is a completely different house to the CGI stills at the beginning of the video - which one is getting built?
First CGIs in the video were preliminary designs, walkthrough was a more up-to-date version... neither have been settled on yet. The way we build means everything is always changing until the bricks are laid!
@@GuyPhoenixuk Are the changes budgetary? It looks like it lost the basement, including the drive-in garage. The later looks ~600m2 vs ~1300m2 of the earlier proposal.
How do you deal with planning departments when you're tweaking the design? I'm building a house at the moment and any change would take months to get formally approved, and I literally have neighbours turning up at the house with a tape measurer looking for anything that's a mm out so they can rush to planning enforcement, making changes impossible without substantial delays.

Hi Guy, I know you probably won't give an exact figure here but how much do you usually charge your clients for their builds? Also I heard you say once that the owners don't know what their getting until the end, don't they sit with you and give you a clear description of what they want their house to look like before you start and then maybe you can add some extra ideas to it.
Also, are you a qualified architect?
no ofcourse hes not qualified he just draws house designs in crayons .........
