You basically can able to reduce and increase the bass. Just press and hold the TV button for five seconds, then lift your finger and press the minus volume button on your remote to go to the base menu. It Hass to be in the sequence. After lifting your finger off the TV button, immediately press the minus button in order to go to the base menu. I do not know why JBL have to make this sophisticated menus, it took me almost 8 or nine months after I purchased this.
Just bought this soundbar after having the soundcore infini pro for 2 years which is another dolby atmos soundbar and this jbl is 100x better, sound blew me away!!
@@riszulu I've read that but I was surprised how easy it went for me. The Google Home app popped up, recognized the bar and walked me through some steps. Then the bar updated its firmware, reset itself and is working fine.
I have a problem on connecting this soundbar to wifi both chromecast and JBL app setup, only ethernet works. Do you have any suggestions or workaround?
One thing I noticed it has a huge kick to it not all that much resonance in the bass or its peaking around 55 HZ and it rolls off from there but idk I mind as well just use one of my speakers as a sound bar😅
Whats a good soundbar with d9epp deep bass under 300 im thinking about the onn blast sound 5.1.2 what cpuld u recomend for good dolby atmos and deep bass
This soundbar sounds awesome! My only issue with this soundbar is when playing Atmos content, the sound will randomly and constantly cut out which is annoying. This could be due to my tv not supporting Atmos.
Anyone knows what is ADB? I was pressing and holding the Atmos button from the remote then press volume down and there's ADB on/off? What feature is this?
Thanks to your video I bought one and I'm really enjoying it, thank you! However, he keeps playing the network signal he creates from wifi even in stand-by. Is there a way to turn this off?
My TV is mounted above my fireplace mantle and my blu ray player is on my mantle. If I place this soundbar on the mantle as well, will the bass cause my blu ray player to skip?
Br can you do a video comparing Bose 700 with Bose module surround speakers vs JBL sound bar 9.1 ? We want to know for spending extra excess money is worth for Bose sound Also can You compare this JBL beam with Bose sound bar video too? Thank you for your review
So is it better to plug your game console directly into the bar? Or just leave it in it's own HDMI port on the TV? My Xbox Series X is my Blu-ray player also.
I know the HDMI in on this soundbar does 4K and it can do dolby vision. IDK tho if it can do 120 Hz. if your TV has eARC I would just connect it to your TV. or if you don mind your XBOX being caped at 60 Hz, then you could connect it to the soundbar. Personally I doubt that it can do 120 Hz.
@@GYMCADDY I read somewhere that it does 4k 60. However, for context, I have one of the earlier gen OLED TVs, it is not 4k and it has normal ARC, and no eArc connection. I'm just wondering, if I connect the Xbox directly to the bar instead, would it be better, audio wise? Like could I actually make use of Atmos stuff with some movies and games, or would my TV have to also have the 2.1 HDMI, and I won't really notice the difference? Also thanks for replying so fast 😬
I got the same choices. Looks like the Sonos will have a better center channel for dialogue. Surround performance will better on this bar since it supports multiple formats like Atmos and Dolby
this one doesnt have port for sub.. but yeah, the 5.1 is significantly better due to the tweeters adding a different layer of frequencies to the experience.
Thanks for the review. I like the fact it’s very focussed and gets to the point very quickly. I also love the fact that the dimensions are given in good old fashioned inches. None of the centimetres nonsense!
the ignorance to a far superior measurement system that the majority of the world uses and is more precise as well as easier to convert is just sad. But sure, go ahead and be patriotic and happy about it

88th! This bar will be gr8 for bass lovers IMO, but for that price, I personally prefer a proper bookshelf speaker system. :)
You'd be very hard pressed to find that for this price.

I think if jbl includes the ability to basically create your own home theater set up they will be a threat to other companies for sure.
Thank you for a nice review, very good information, I bought this after watching this video, and I really enjoyed it 👍
How is it till now
This thing is available for £240 and I’m thinking of buying it.. and i think this is the cheapest Dolby atoms Soundbar available in the UK
I'm way late to the party, but I just ordered this from a Prime Day deal the other day. Seems like it'll be more than enough for what we watch on TV.

Can it also blootooth to a headset for private listening while still running the sound bar for others in the room

It had 3 and 2 tweeters with 4 radiators
Why buy expensive soundbars that don't give a theater sound? Just buy a cheap brand that has 4 satellite speakers and a sub-woofer.
So it’s basically a JBL 5.1
Just without the subwoofer and tweeters on top which makes it an JBL 5.0
And yeah you can buy a separate sub woof for 299
