My Granddaughter is on that ship. Please say prayers for her Safe Return Home. I miss her so much. I am sure she is as safe as she can be, compared to the way things are in America today.

I servered 20, 27 years ago, and the hardest thing in the Navy was saying "Good Bye" Good Bye to family friends,classmates to join,good bye to those you marched beside and graduated in boot camp, then every deploymemt more good byes, next you know 20 years of traveling and duty stations in this small world comes to a close at the last good bye when you walk down that pier and the memories of serving in the GREATEST NAVY IN THE WORLD! Thats the hardest GOOD BYE of them all! SALUTE!! GOD BLESS THE USA!!

I used to work the crane sending eveything onto and off the ship. Amazing to me is the assembily of the flight wing arriving from all over and heading on deployment. Also all the pallets of pop tarts and prepared food going on the ship.
