What I love were the trailers to both "Mortal Kombat", and "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation". They were almost better than the movies themselves. You had the voice-over saying the characters names as they appeared, while the theme song plays in the background. ABSOLUTELY AWSOME!😁
@PlanetCHH I totally agree I think for me personally I enjoy the 2021 movie more as a huge fan of the games just because, I get more of what I want from the games mainly being a lot of the iconic and gory ass fatalities, but I will be the first to say, as far as my preferred set of characters, that I enjoy playing in the games it’s the 1995 movie all the way for one simple reason Johnny Cage man, I’m a huge fan of that character in the games and to me he has some of the most memorable lines in the entire 1995 film and him and Bridgette Wilson and Talisa Soto who play Sonya and Kitana respectively make it worth watching for some nice eye candy. I swear, every time me and my friends play Mortal Kombat and I decide to choose Johnny Cage over some of my other favorites like Scorpion, Sonya Blade, Jax and even Baraka because, I mean who doesn’t think Baraka’s totally badass when you can pull his moves off, I’d be honestly curious, but I can’t wait to hopefully see Baraka done justice in the sequel to the newest reboot next year because, damn they did him dirty in the MK:Armageddon movie. On the subject of when I pick Johnny Cage to fight my friends in MK matches when we get together much like in 2 days when I take my Xbox over to play with my friend Angelea and her husband and I’m sure I’ll pick Johnny Cage then at some point, and whenever I pull off his classic nut punch special move, I will be thinking of Linden Ashby’s iconic line “And now that’s when you fall down.” After he nut punches Goro, and I honestly will say for the little bit he was in it, the 2021 Goro was a massive improvement look wise in the 2021 film to me than the 1995 even though Goro in this 1995 version still has the charm of being a practical puppet I will give it that.
Mortal Kombat, Annihilation, and the 2021 movie were terrible. But the original live action Mortal Kombat movie was the least terrible out of all of them.
The beginning intro was badass on this movie!!
Still rocking that Mutha’s Day Out song from the club seen. (What You See)

That soundtrack too… Fear Factory… GZR… Type O Negative…
Pokemon: Detective Pikachu is my favorite video game movie but I LOVE the original MK movie and the reboot from a few years ago!
It's was good especially being a PG 13 movie
I still feel it's the best video game movie.

Great film, love it! ❤
Just watched this on cable the other day. Completely forgot how bad the primitive effects were.
