I make nut horn cookies and have used a hammer for years. Your cracker is a God sent. Love the cookies with the black waknuts

As you are cleaning the nuts, you should have them in water, and throw away the floaters. That should get rid of most of the bad nuts.

To pick up the nuts,I use a nut wizard. I use one in each hand to pick them up faster. I use a 5 gallon bucket to put them in. It has a wire on it to empty the wizard easily. I put 3 buckets into a sturdy plastic sack.
