- Overview of controlling exposure in manual mode with the Nikon D5600.
Shutter speed (camera body): Slower speed = longer exposure, more light, magnifies camera shake, subject and background movement (blur).
Faster speed = shorter exposure, less light, freezes action (sharp subjects in motion).
Aperture (lens): Smaller number = wider/larger opening, more light, narrower depth of field (less of image remains in focus; greater control over which part of the image is in focus or blurred out of focus)
Larger number = smaller opening, less light, greater depth of field (more of image remains in focus/sharper)
ISO: Video signal gain (camera body processor)
Lower ISO = lower noise, cleaner image, optimal quality, lower light sensitivity (for shooting in brighter light)
Higher ISO = increased noise, reduction in image detail, digital artifacts (false color), larger "grains" in images, higher light sensitivity (for shooting in lower light)
Thank you SO much for this video. You made it so easy to understand. If you do more videos on this camera body, I would love to know about them. I will be searching for any videos you do. Thank you again. Regards Sharon E
I got my D5600 now for 2 month ago, i was using canon, but i got so much problem with the Body and especially 5 lens, in really bad condition out of the box. so i sent all canon back and went to NIKON. Not only NO problems, but a much better system and better pictures quality, Canon might have a bit better focus, but, for my part i prefer a better picture quality. The D5600 ist just GREAT -))
Good video, just go further with NIKON. Thanks
I use it for osprey birds weather and. Baby photos of my great niece it is a great camera . I had mine for three months
