- Hi There! I had a question from Stephanie who is one of my subscribers. She wanted to know how the Breville Juice Fountain Cold Plus handles juicing root vegetables. @@KarlaLiving Okay, we are loving it! I love how good you feel after a healthy juice in the morning. I swear it cured my cough in three days. I even accidentally dropped the blender section on the ground and it is working great. Just wish the other pieces you have to wash out were less bulky. Takes up my whole countertop to wash and dry - but worth it. Have a blessed day!

I was diagnosed with Stage III Lung cancer. My son just got me the Breville I am so excited to get started. I just finished chemotherapy, about to start radiation, then a year of immunotherapy. Praise God for his goodness and your journey for being cancer free, just where i want to be. I'm claiming it in the name of Jesus, for both of us. Thanks for sharing..

Thank you so much! Happy juicing and prayers for total healing. 🙏🏾 Please report any unusual reactions during immunotherapy. I've been recovering from an adverse reaction since 2020. Immunotherapy can be a huge blessing but also can have major side effects.
@@KarlaLiving Hi Karla, I had my first treatment of Keytruda last week, the following day. I had a adverse reaction, which was itchy skin. I have sensitive skin as it is, so annoying. I go every three weeks. I'm still juicing! God Bless

I just gave up on it. I juice too much turmeric. Tey said lemon juice would work.

Praying that you don't. Immunotherapy is a treatment that unmasks cancer and kills it. That explains it in a nutshell.

My PSA blood test results had been climbing every time I had blood work done. So instead of getting a painful rectal biopsy on my prostate that involved 13 needles I'm going to wait and juice every day to see if my PSA test improves substantially. It's probably a shot in the dark, I know, but HEY I FEEL GREAT drinking a glass of my green juice concoction every hour for five or six hours per day. My green juice includes fresh kale, green peppers, broccoli, spinach, arugula, celery, basil, cucumber, apples, garlic, ginger root, turmeric and cilantro. Thank you God for hearing my prayer and for anyone who offers one for me.
Try saw palmetto. My dad swears by it. But also I'm a proponent of getting to the bottom of things. Have your doctor put you under or give you a sedative. You can do it! Happy Juicing!

Hi. How does it do with green leafy vegetables? Also how long does it take to clean the juicer? Cheers.
It does pretty good but there are juicers specifically for leafy greens that do better. For this type of juicer it does well. My trick for juicing kale is to use dinosaur kale instead of the lighter weight kale. It goes down the juicer easier. For spinach, ball it up a little and put it between apples or other more dense vegetables. That helps it not to blow around.

@@KarlaLiving I have started trying different kinds of cold pressed juices at my local health food store; I want to ensure I will actually drink the juice before I spend that kind of money.
I tried one that had apple, cucumber, spinach, kale, parsley and lemon. It was actually pretty good! I also tried one that had neet, carrot, apple, lemon and ginger. That tasted like dirt and lawn clippings; I am guessing that was the beet?
For the first concoction, how many of the veggies I named would you estimate it would take to produce 12 ounces?

It depends because each fruit or vegetable has different water content. It's usually shocking how much veggies yield so little juice. Watch my green juice video. I show how much juice I got for the amount of veggies.

So imagen how much i come back from the store to get the week started! Im in hospital alot cuz of my cancer, so ginger would help me heal, how is the cleaning in this thing ? Cuz im usually such a rush make juice then straight to work!
