  • Today we take a closer look at both an incredible bike and tire. The new Bi-Directional AT-82 tire from Dunlop has been out for several months now and is a huge hit! Pair that with a 2024 KTM 350XC-F and it's one incredible duo.

    Try that front with the VE33s rear. I know it’s not the build but it’s an incredible combo.

    Love my 24 factory edition 350xcf, put a bunch or bullet proof designs products on it, rekluse, gpr dampener, and alt rider lowering link. Fantastic bike.

    I've been running the MX33 and now MX34 on the front for east coast trail riding because I favor having enough grip in soft conditions and give up some grip on the roots and rocks and didn't think the 81 or the Bridgestone M59 and other all-around or trail oriented fronts had enough soft terrain grip / confidence, does the the 82 do a better job in soft stuff? Does it give more on hard-pack and stick rocks / roots than it gives up in soft dirt compared to the mx34? Typically I ride mostly hard pack clay rocks and roots but when I do hit soft stuff I don't like feeling like the front is going to wash out without warning.

      I ride east coast Hare Scrambles and Enduro I’m a huge Dunlop guy but I tried a Michelin Enduro Medium front and it was freaking amazing!

      Try the x31

      East coast A rider here and m59 front is our go to even in soft. I have yet to find a tire as predictable and compliant and I've tried them all. The rear is more dependent on terrain. Gummy in the rocks, and something with tall knobs in the soft.

      @95jersey have you tried the X31 front?

    • @95jersey
      @95jersey 3 місяці тому

      @@keithwillcome2580 actually I have one on my bike right now. 1st time I tried it out as it looks almost identical to the 59, but supposedly stiffer sidewall. It is good, but I still think the M59 edges out. Also, after a bunch of hours, the tread is in good condition, but the side traction (angle traction) is starting to give way. It is slightly cheaper, but not enough to sway me after this try out.

    Only problem is those bikes can't be off road registered to legally ride on public land ! Waste of money unless you race sanctioned off road events. Sucks California sucks. I will try the AT82, but l doubt it will be better than the 81.

      Here in CO there are hundreds if not thousands of trails where you can get a OHV tag, and ride till your heart is content. Not that I am telling you to move to CO....we have too many CA libs already ! LOL

      Better side bite for cornering and still has good forward bite and braking too. I like it better and it seems not to round as fast as the at 81

      West coast riding looks very boring in general. Tight trees, roots, rocks, mud on east coast makes every foot of trail interesting. When I watch west coast video's the terrain is just so boring.

    Wow came here looking for an at82 review. This ain’t it. No useful info on the tire performance at all.
