First generation Monster is the benchmark version. I'm lucky enough to have both; Orange and Black. My favourite is the Orange Monster by a mile; just so eye catching.
Fantastic video brother on definitely two Seiko legends. A very long time ago I tried on a first generation black monster. I never bought the watch but wish I had . I do currently own the SBDY105 and SBDY115 Save the Ocean Antarctica Monster watches . These two new fourth generation monsters are amazing 🤩 and definitely favorites in my collection. I own 10 Seiko watches and I just wish I had started buying Seiko watches earlier when I was into the Invicta fad . Seiko’s are amazing watches and definitely my favorite brand .
@@edcwatches of course, that’s your preference. But the most wanted is the 2nd gen orange, the price was just a reference to picture the level of demand for that version. I did not mean that more expensive equals better.
I’ve had both for a long time. I couldn’t choose which one so I bought both. Excellent watches and I still wear them every once in awhile

I have both the original Orange Monster and the first gen Pepsi SKX. They are just pieces that have to be in the collection. 👍👍👍

I’d say the real staple is the orange 2nd gen. Just look at the prices.
