Your sound is so clean! 🔥 So crisp! Maybe in the future you'd compare zag and vast. Do you have preference? Which & why? Also not that you need to use mallets but do you on either 🤔 and can you compare sound quality? I'm forever a student and you most easily & excellently teach by showing. Humbly thank 😊 you.
On this track I was somewhat lazy to use microphones I usually use. It was raining so noise was eminent... and I just pulled small recorder Boss Micro BR-80. That little thing can sometimes really surprise with sound quality. For BR-80, distance from the sound source is critical... and it seems I got it right on this one. Maybe I will do a comparison... but be aware it is like comparing apples and oranges. Both are lovely and both have different flavor. Therefore - I do not have preference. Each instrument has something to give, something unique to express. Zagdrum was the first drum I bought and at first I was surprised to find that I cannot play without mallets. People on youtube look so easy-going when playing with fingers... but my fingers just refused to produce something audible :) It took me quite some time to train myself and use fingers. I learned mostly on my own, just playing an experimenting. My inspiration was Evelyn Glennie and her video "How to truly listen". These days I am giving more effort to learn more from other players and tutorials on YT.
Чудесное исполнение на волшебном инструменте! Космос!
Спасибо :) Это действительно особенный инструмент. Звук уникален и отличается от аналогичных инструментов.
Beautiful.
Thanks :)
