    The study hall is so frustratingly difficult... I have my exam in two days, and I will do Andrew's mock exam tomorrow to regain my confidence and close the day off with only 50 study Hall questions before Friday.

      I know right (re study hall) hope Andrews simulator helped. How did your exam go?

      @@AsToldByCanadianImmigrants Hey it went very well. 3 Above Target and my stick almost touching the end of the right side. Andrew's videos and mock are still top notch. The Study Hall did put me in the right mindset with what to expect with exam.
      The first 120 questions were a breeze, however those last 60 questions were really unpredictable with multiple options looking the same. Because I went through the first 120 questions so fast, I still had 2 and a half hours to go, and I was still able to spare about 55 minutes to go when I finished the whole exam. Surprisingly, with all the mock exams I have taken, I always had 50 minutes left on them.
      I'm so incredibly happy and very emotional because my journey as an immigrant with nothing to loose and everything to fight for I never imagined myself not only finishing my bachelor, masters and now being certified with one of the most sought after industry certification. There is so much to my story hence the emotions but I'm glad that in as much as I doubt myself sometimes, with determination I always come out on top.

    Thanks Kristina. Andrew is PRO I am studying using his resources. What would you suggest someone study in Canada if they are already PMP Certified?

    • @AsToldByCanadianImmigrants
      @AsToldByCanadianImmigrants  Рік тому

      Hi Jada! Thanks for watching. That’s a great question! Good luck with your preparations. That’s a great question! I think go back to aligning it with the industry your are in, so if you are in IT go for something IT related, construction has a construction project management course. Supply chain management is also a discipline that touches every industry and could be a great pair. But also, if we remove Canada from the equation, what do you truly want to be doing, what are you good and and what do you like. Are you going to school because you want to do more schooling or as an immigration pathway. If you have PMP certification you have some years of experience under your belt, do you need to study again? Or does the express entry or Atlantic Immigration program suite you best. Hope this was good food for thought for you. Check us out in the Canadian Dreamers club for career and Immigration coaching and consultation. www.astoldbycanadianimmigrants.com/join-the-club

    Did Andrew's course in udemy provide the needed 35 PDU hours when you applied?

    • @AsToldByCanadianImmigrants
      @AsToldByCanadianImmigrants  10 місяців тому

      Hi there, I didn't need the PDUs because I have a post graduate in Project Management. SO I got approved before I used Andrew's course. BUT completion of that course is supposed to give you the 35 hours you need to get approved. Hope this helps.

    I’m doing cert through knowledge hut they violated me I was like 70% done and then they reset my course so I had to start all over again but I’m about 85% done now looks like I just have to review some pdf guides and then practice test . Looking for a bit more and then ima look to schedule the test . I feel like I wasted so much time with knowledge hut, but sounds like you scheduled your exam before finishing the course 🤔

    • @AsToldByCanadianImmigrants
      @AsToldByCanadianImmigrants  10 місяців тому +1

      Hi there! I scheduled my exam before finishing the UDEMY course because I already had my hours of education when I did a post graduate program in project management. I only used the UDEMY course to prepare for the exam, and not to get the hours or the PDUs. If you need the 35 hours it sounds like you are almost there! Like Andrew suggests, if you need the PDUs/hours to qualify for the exam, finish it before you scheduled your exam.

      Thanks for watching! I didn’t like the platform, I talk about that in part 2 of my video. Link should be in description? It is outdated and reminds me of windows 98 😂. I had a huge monitor which made it even worse. But overall I appreciated that it was online which takes the stress out of traveling and acquainting yourself with a new computer or mouse or environment…

    Congrats... But u so overkilled it ?? why doing that much exams after having 78 % then 81... why doing more, the note to pass isn't like 65 % ?? I don't get the point.

    • @AsToldByCanadianImmigrants
      @AsToldByCanadianImmigrants  8 місяців тому +1

      Hi thanks for watching! Practice makes perfect! There is actually no known “pass mark” for PMP. The rule of thumb for some practice exams is after you can consistently get 80% or more for a certain simulator you are ready for the exam. Good luck to you!

    • @gravelin2548
      @gravelin2548 8 місяців тому

      @@AsToldByCanadianImmigrants right... i know it's target above or below for different sections... some teachers say it would be equal approx to 65% but you are right that doing 80 in different is a good indication of being ready and removing stress... i'll apply that. Thank you :)
