Schools closed in Madison after severe weather leaves 'unsafe conditions'

Officials from the Madison Metropolitan School District said schools will not be in session Wednesday, May 22. That includes 4K and early childhood programming.
They clarified this is a traditional day off, not an at-home learning day.
As for after-school athletics and MSCR programs, officials said information will be communicated to participants throughout the day.
