I am looking forward to this..... :) I wonder if they've implemented the appropriate tables/settings for both the US and European versions of RDS? (Mostly how station genres are displayed.) Canada and Mexico use the US version, while most others use the European version. There's not much difference, other than genre, but enough to make it a bit confusing when using a European RDS radio in the US. I think a full implementation would probably only use less than 10kb of code & tables, and to have a setting in the Settings menu to switch between the two, or off.

I guess after Canada was trying Eureka for High Def, now you use HD for FM and MW,(AM), like in the US? HD for AM is not too popular for AM because of adjacent channel interference. Some NYC stations which had implemented HD AM years ago have dropped that format I like talk station CJAD 800 from Montreal in contrast to US talk stations. 😊
That is what I love about this radio - it just keeps getting better and has great support by the company! A must buy when it goes on sale.
That RDS looks pretty cool. All the RDS on one display. Only my TEF6686 radio has that all in one screen. That is a great update. Great job Choyong. 👍

Yes HD radio exists, in Montreal we have a few HD stations on FM and 1 on AM
Is the RDS update available for
