Hey guys as a small UA-camr with a broke college lvl budget ramen noodle night I recently got hit with the UA-cam change. Basically they are demonizatizing all of my vids if I don't hit 1000 subs by Feb 16th. With that being said I would appreciate a sub and will sub back! Thanks for watching, thanks for reading. I appreciate it guys!.
I just bought a psp go online since my psp 3000 is no longer working and it's my preferred console for playing ps1 games. The battery is fluctuating and I was so bummed. Good thing I saw your video. I finally found a psp go battery for sale online and I can't wait to replace the battery myself. Thank you for this video.
Just found my PSP go in my closet a few days ago. No surprise it wouldn’t take a charge. I almost chucked it in the bin. I came across your video, order a battery via your link, liked & subbed. Thanks mate!
Scorinitron Yeah, I’ve been struggling to put out content on my channel. UA-cam has made it hard for us little guys but I’m trying to get back into it. Best of luck to you man.
Also intresting to see the difference between differnt kind of battery (I guess). My GBA Micro, didn´t just took charge, it even started 10-15 years after last use, the PSP had just 7 years or something, but that one, I couldnt charge :)
Thank you man, just successfully placed a new battery in my go. I had about 40 minutes of playtime on a full charge. Gonna be checking out how long it holds up now 🎮👍🏼 (never owned one brandnew) really like the Go's portability and screen over the other models.
I finally got my Amazon Affiliate hooked up! If you guys want to support the channel clicking the link below helps me get a little kickback! Amazon Affliate Link for the PSP GO Battery: amzn.to/2EClblL
Hello, I bought a PSP Go and someone had removed the battery inside and desoldered the plastic housing that the battery plugs into on the motherboard. Does anyone know what the plastic battery snap in is called?
I recommend you just get a new battery. Any of the original batteries in psp's are no doubt dying. So you could by an extended battery online and use that
Where would be the best place to get one, I'd like to pay around 40 bucks... I actually would'nt mind buying that particular one right there... Great video.
adam diaz haha you and me both bro. $40 is actually a tad low market wise usually check eBay. I usually get them from local pawnshops that have them lying around. Only way I'm getting a psp go for under $100 is if it's broke and since I took it apart a while back fixing them is pretty easy.
eBay lurking is the best way to go for sure. I lurked for a couple of months and found one for 50 bucks (well roughly that using currency conversion and accounting for the higher taxes and stuff here in Europe), received it today and it is in absolutely mint condition. Only annoyance is that the USB cable that came with it is charging only, so now I have to wait a few more days for a data transfer one so I can hack it.

before fastening all screws make sure the replacement battery works by powering it on
I thought the same😉
Good thought. At the time I recorded that video like 5 times speed running it lol
I just tried and the white piece that’s attached to the wires didn’t come off, just the wires?? What do I do?

How long does at psp battery usually live before it needs to get replaced?

I believe 2 years max, but it's better to be replaced every 1 year because they wear out fast if you charge them often
Thank you! Just did mine. Super quick
Psp was so ahead of it’s time, another reason why it’s always playstation over Xbox 🤣🤣I got ps5 and wanna get a new battery for my psp go, psp goated
I’m going to put a 1800 mah ps3 battery in my psp go
Clickbateeeeee the video was 6:50 seconds
Was just about to comment this..lmao
Technically finished at 4:57 and gave a final note afterwards lol
This was helpful. Thank you.
How did you removed the PSP logo on the back?
venyc82 weird I never noticed it was gone till I compared it to my black one, I got the white one at a pawnshop sooo maybe it's a replacement back?
@@GreighThunda yeah they owner either cleaned it or replaced the original back

JTV if I get one broken, and cheap, I will attempt to fix it.
Thanks for your reply.
adam diaz I'm gonna do a teardown vid in a sec it's stupid easy man lol
JTV have you heard of dumping the umd, the game?
Thanks dude
We actually need to go to the shop to buy a new battery
nah got it at amazon
Love you
Who cares about the joystick! The only reason to have a PSP Go is to use a Dual Shock 3 controller with it.
