- PSP go is probably the best portable retro gaming device from reliable company: the small size, incredible display, best engineering, beautiful design. but it’s not good choice for long time play, because of poor battery capacity and the bottom part is too thin for steady grip. Sony has never release any solution for the 2 cons, sad but true.
I so much like the tiny monster, so I tried to enhance it by myself. and now you can see the PSP go Power Armour, which make PSP go to be an powerful monster!!

It took me a while to figure out that this was just a psvita battery. I didn't do the mod quite like this. I wasn't about to get the shell because 50 dollars is a lot for a shell so I got creative.... but regardless I am happy with the new battery life on my pspgo.
It is worth it since it looks very good, at least the one that's not 3D printed
What did you do for longer battery life?

intersting mod for PSP go!! it's a great portable game device but the battery is not enough
If you wonder if you can also use the "microsd card mod", yes it fit
I have the folded one, on the newer version there is a part to fix the battery, i placed it under there and hung it with heat resistant polyimide tape (directly on the psp, not the fixing part)
I think it would be more smart to use the unfolded "microsd card mod" since there is a huge area free where the old battery was before, but both work basically
Also concerning the battery you'll need a SP65M - PCH-1001, PCH-1006, PCH-1101(so any PS vita battery)

Did you change the cases? Mine came out different. It's a more matt feel to it. It also has a different logo on it but your name is there

@@ishoug4941 ah okay thank you for responding. I also wanted ask if you knew what size the screws were. One of the screws won't screw into the holes, everytime I try to screw it in it just falls out. It's very loose.
The only slight issue I see with this kit
is what about the antennas there's supposed to be connected to the motherboard through the Pogo pins I'm assuming the company of the designer this kit didn't think of that
high from my experence, there's no change. i believe it's for wifi or blue tooth.
Could you put a 4000 or 5000 mah battery?if so, it would be perfect for long trips!
yes you can do it yourself, but you need buy some OEM battery and make some mod. so I don't recommend. and my battery can last 6 H for god of war, it's nice enough
You forgot to use the double sided tape to fix battery and also top screws are not placed

the free room in the middle sucks kinda... isnt there away to combine something wich fits in with the bigger battery ?
yes although it's not visible from outside, but that's better has some place to hold the battery
@@doomnotron yes the room should be enough. i condisdered using some felxible PCB to easily upgrade storage with TF card without soldering. but it's too expensive, so have given up the mod project

if you can find proper battery, there is enough space for 4000mah, but you need mod on protection board of battery, it's not easy.

Yeah, i wouldnt do this, it can make the PSP run hotrer which can diminish battery health faster

Why not sell on AliExpress? It is easier for people outside China to buy there and I believe AliExpress help you out on shipping. I tried using an agent but they cancelled because "can't deliver to UK". I buy from AliExpress all the time and no problem.

Umm bro, the battery you include does not fit into the plug of the psp, im pushing down and it wont go in
the plug is the same as PSP go battery, and all the battery included have been tested before delivery by myself. just carefully plug in just like the video shows. when done, the red line shuold be on the right side. and remember to activate the battery with original AC adapter.

I bought the first batch where the back cover is slippery. I see you are selling a newer batch. Is there a way to sand down or make it less slippery the original first batch?
now I use nylon material for black type, it's more sustainable. but for white one, i haven't change because it's so easy to be dirty for the white nylon material.

After three months I finally got it but I’m assuming it was dead by the time the time it got to me, I assembled it all together but the orange light to verify it’s charging doesn’t come on does that orange light not come on anymore with this mod or did I do it wrong?
Edit: Actually it only turn on if I have it connected to a power cord.
normally it's because bad connection of battery socket. you may try to plugin again. and be care of the wires.
