Online store -- or you can also find the link to these products through my Blog. The link to the store is also on top of my main UA-cam Channel page. Here you will also find the details for each product, plus the latest catalogs that you can view online -- or if you'd like to request a catalog (free of charge) please feel free to send me a message and I will get one delivered to you.
    Materials Used:
    Card Base -- Very Vanilla Card Stock -- cut at 8 ½ by 5 ½, then score at 2 1/8 and 6 3/8
Shutter -- Basic Black card stock (2 pieces) -- cut at 3 ½ by 4. On the 4 inch side, score both pieces at ½ inch. Then on 3 ½ side pencil mark at 1 ¾ then mark at 2 inches to find the center so you can cut the fish tail for the shutter.
Center Piece -- Basic Black card stock -- cut at 3 by 5 ½. DSP cut at 2 ¾ x 5 1/4 . Adhere together using your TG or tombow glue. Use your large circle punch or circle framelits to cut a hole on the middle piece. This will create the window to your shutter card.
    Shutter DSP -- DSP cut at 5 ¼ by 1 7/8.
Bellyband -- 1 by 11 inches. Fold on your card to create the bellyband. Don't make it too tight so it can still slide in and out. Decorate according to your style.
    TOOLS:
Score board and scoring tool or stylus
    Bone Folder
    Stampin Dimensionals or foam dots
    Mini Glue Dots
    Rhinestones
Adhesive (tape runner of Tombow glue)
    Ruler
    Pencil
    Scissors
Circle Framelits (about 1 ¾ inch. In diameter)

I have watched many videos on this kind of card and found them hard to make. Your tutorial is the very Best. You give all the instructions slowly, on paper & easy to follow.

The best instructional tutorial for the shutter card I’ve seen! I saw the original video which inspired this and agree, adding shutter piece first is brilliant! Thank you!

I checked out a couple of videos on this technique today. Yours was the best. I appreciate you putting the paper measurements on the sticky up to the camera - very easy to follow along and make the card at the same time - and I could write down the measurements quickly. Also good editing and correction of measurement mistake.
I look forward to more of your videos. Thanks for your time and effort on this one.

Thank you, I'm new to card making so found this very easy to follow because of your very clear and precise instructions. I made the card but I found the middle bit a bit difficult to do. My card looks good though and every one I've shown it to has complimented me on it. I'm really proud of it and didn't think I had it in me to make such a card. Once again thank you so much for your very easy to follow demonstration.

Thanks for this tutorial! You made it very easy to understand. I love this project, but I think I would stamp the sentiment before I added the center section (where the hole is cut out). It would be just my luck that I would stamp it crooked, or smudge the message!

Just where it needs to be precise, you go really fast. First you folded the crease lines over then under. Then you put glue where? How did you manage to glue the score line if they are now under? When you open it up again you don't really show us how it's supposed to look afterwards (if you did, I would have figured out the shutter score line problem). I liked the measurements on a piece of paper.

Your video is great but I'm having trouble with the shutter pieces. If I cut and attach them the way you show the card won't close - the points on the shutter pieces are too long.

Lovely card. However, please pin back your hair next time. Your hair blocks your hand as you are doing the critical fold placement of the pieces. Thank you.

The instructions are very unclear. For the love of God please focus your fucking camera I can't even see whether a Paper is folded or not half of the time.
