- Opening Titles, Ad Caps & End Credits from The Bill used in Series 18, in 2002. The Opening Credits include the 'Previously' introduction, the end credits are blank, and they include the 'Next Time' section. This was re-constructed from many sources, however all content belongs to ITV, Talkback Thames & Freemantle Media (as far as I am aware.)

this must have taken a fair amount of effort to reconstruct, very impressive.
The theme that was the backdrop to the menacing and dark days of the bent Supt: Tom Chandler. This theme has mystery and intrigue that’s why I love it
it's the best modern version of the theme for sure
My favourite Bill theme tune!
It's on drama the now this tune best run aswell best cast
Omg noooooooooooo
a very dark theme almost makes sad as this is the theme we lost so many of the shows best characters
The best bill theme ever.
This show inspired me to want to have ambition to join the met police, ever since I was born in 1995👀
I joined the cadets in 2010, currently former so nearly close 👀 I wanna be a special 👀 or pc👀 special more, as it’s voluntary but it’s harder to join than the regulars apparently🤘🏼
Gina Gold cleaned the nick after Chandler :)
Bad ass bill tune!
The very reason why I got into creative writing was this show and Eastenders loved this 2001-2003 look
Clean end credits. Nice work!
An oldie but a goodie 👍
Love this one.
This is absolutely amazing I loved The Bill as I have always been interested in creative writing and my dream was to write for The Bill
Contact itv or the bbc, they might bring it back🤘🏼

Best theme 😍
Im miss this show so so much
The Bill was by far at its best in 2002, shame Chandler killed himself, I actually felt sorry for him towards the end.
I thought it was just me. Can't condone the man for his sins (all 80 episodes or whatever) but we still got some good team building out of Mickey and Meadows. Bottom line killing Kate Spears at the exact moment she'd decided to go public was the reason he became unbearable for me, its cliche especially with another 30 seedy episodes or so to go. Always liked the bit where Cullen stood up to him calling him a yes man before he left. Chandler could have been written better, shouldn't be able to feel any remorse for a nasty pasty like him! 😂
There was a fan website devoted to rehabilitation of Chandler in the old days, but I don't think it's around anymore. The long and short of their extensive case was that basically he underwent a character assassination, and that if you watch it you can see the character he's presented as in his earlier episodes -- the new broom, cleaning up Sun Hill's reputation after the Beech scandal, justifiably on Jack Meadows' back over his lack of supervision of CID, usually on the right side of things morally even if his actual methods do rub up old guard like Bob Cryer the wrong way -- is more or less washed over, mainly about the time his old Hendon classmate Des Taviner turns up and starts dropping hints about Chandler's shady past. Even then, its initially played more as Des just stirring the pot, but the "Dark Chandler" he's remembered as arguably doesn't really show up until nearly a year into his run, and the seeds of it are a scene where he sits Des down and warns him to "Forget Hendon, forget you ever knew me before you turned up here and found I was your Super". That's the first sign that Chandler is in any way actually a bad guy.
I find the earlier Chandler actually quite a nuanced character, someone who shakes up the status quo in a good way. He became quite a cartoon villain later after they changed his character, but the actor (Stephen Hartley) did a terrific job of playing both versions of Chandler. He reminds me of Chris Ellison as Frank Burnside, he's an actor who you can see the wheels turning inside his head constantly.
This is my favourite theme tune out of the bill
oh the memorys
Gina Gold. The best years!
Brilliant
i think these titles were from early 2001 but the theme is good.
