"Illinois trotted a guy out charged with rape.... Kansas kicked Arterio Morris off the team completely". Had the chance to apologize to TSJ, Underwood and Illinois but you danced around it.

What if Morris had nothing to do with it? He was off to a hot hot start, KU could have challenged for the number one spot

You said that Illinois shouldn't have played him, that fans should not have supported him, and yet you state that NBA front offices are going to now evaluate him based on his basketball ability. How would his basketball ability would have been impacted if they didn't play him (knowing that the investigation was a sham)? That is the objection Illinois fans have with your comments. TSJ was a victim in this story, and at no point did you speak with that lens on your POV.

Parrish is tying himself in knots to avoid saying he's wrong.
That initial athletic department policy is also not in place at Illinois anymore because the judge tore it to shreds! Your argument is that Illinois should have continued to try to appeal to keep the policy in place?

As an Illinois fan, I believed that GP was getting more hate than he deserved after the ‘not guilty’ verdict. After watching this though, I’m sincerely disappointed in GP’s complete lack of accountability.
Anyone saying GP called TSJ a rapist is wrong, but GP did insinuate that it was TSJ’s fault for getting charged in the first place. GP also claimed to have read everything there was on the case, and yet still claimed that anyone who thought he was clearly innocent was full of sh*t.
Fast forward to the trial, and it was clear that this had been a sham the whole time.
I don’t think Illinois fans, or anyone else should be coming for GP’s head for all of this. TSJ wouldn’t want this, and it’s not a good look for the fanbase.
I will say though that I’m disappointed in GP for taking the “I never did anything wrong, this is just another crazy fanbase in my twitter mentions” stance after everything

If you know those things to be true how can you possibly suggest that this POS doesn't deserve the flack he gets from the Illinois fanbase

Parrish fell far short in his "apology" and/or attempt to explain himself. Bottom line Parrish, you demonized and villified the Illinois program including the coach for playing a player who received a TRO from a federal judge to be reinstated back into the program. You originally stated that you disagreed with the ideas that had been trotted out(your words) regarding TSJ's livelihood is being harmed due to the suspension. You said the suspension was not doing irreparable harm to him but rather because he was accused and arrested for rape. You said that you disagreed with the premise that the suspension was doing the harm. So, you believe that if TSJ was forced to sit the rest of the reason, that it would have done no harm to him whatsoever? What about his NIL earnings that he signed for? What about his draft stock going down? What about the mental toughness that young man showed to the world including NBA draft scouts that he could still go out there and tune out all of the hecklers and tune out what he was staring at(possible jail time) to still play at the highest of levels. What about losing out on the rest of his senior season for a crime that it turns out that he didn't even commit? You don't think NBA scouts come away even more impressed now than they were before December? In addition, Underwood cannot run rough shot as you thought he should back in the winter. He cannot play around with the minutes of an All American candidate. He reports to a boss, his athletic director. If Underwood and AD Whitman chose to take matters into their own hands and go against the TRO court ruling, they would have subjected themselves to potential legal re-course from TSJ's attorney team. You cannot take matters into your own hands and illegally block someone from getting their earned playing time just because you don't "agree" with a federal judge's ruling. Mr. Parrish, you sir are an utter joke. You need to stay in your lane and not discuss matters that you know little to nothing about. Rather than apologizing and owning up to your demonizing the Illinois program, you choose to continue to double down on your stance. I'll give you some credit for not running away from it. But, otherwise, you fell flat yet again. You've lost a lot of listeners to your podcast b/c of your quick rush to judgement of a program when you yourself didn't have all of the facts as well as your pompous/egotistical attitude about being all knowing and judgemental about what a program should have done with its player. I suggest you become a judge or an athletic director if you feel like you would have handled things differently.

Why does this feel like a lot of deflection from GP? Illinois did everything as perfectly as they could being in the middle of this.

If you had it your way TSJ would’ve missed the rest of his final college season, not had one of the most impressive BTT/NCAA runs we’ve seen from a collegiate ball player, likely been bumped down to the late 2nd round, if drafted at all, and yet you said the suspension wasn’t causing “irreparable harm” to his career. I’m glad that you finally at least talked about it, but the words you are looking for are, “I was wrong.”

While I don't disagree that the policy is bad based off what happened to Terrence in this case, Parrish is dead wrong on so many levels. Definite lack of accountability on his part to not own up to what he said and admit he was incorrect. He did insinuate that Terrence was guilty and that Illinois was wrong for propping him up when they had the chance. You can't just not play him after the TRO without major ramifications. What a job of backpedaling the past few days.

GP is flat out lying about his initial stance on TSJ being allowed to play. I’m not surprised, but quite disappointed.

His take was very unfavorable towards TSJ and fanned the flames for people to pile on. Charges were always shaky, TSJ should never have been treated so bad without being proven guilty.

Parrish: I never offered a thought of guilt or innocence
Parrish in January: It's TSJ fault for getting charged and he should never see the court again at Illinois
This guy insinuated that TSJ was in fact guilty and didnt want him to be perceived as innocent until proven guilty, but hey he feels as though he shouldnt have to apologize. What a coʻward😅

Parrish should have apologized to both Illinois and Shannon. His take on this whole affair was dead wrong. I am not impressed by this show and hope CBS looks at these comments. In my opinion, that is just BAD journalism.

Illinois continuing to defy Garbage Parrish by announcing that they're putting Terrence's jersey in the rafters to commemorate the all time single season scoring record that he achieved at Illinois...and that was while being suspended for 6 games. Take that Parrish. I hope you take a long look in the mirror and read all of these comments and realize that sometimes you have to own up to your words that you said and learn from it rather than try to talk your way out of things. Own your words and own that 90% of people disagree with your hot take. Norlander, you may want to cut bait and find another co-host to work with. Parrish is a sinking ship
