I made a video six months ago showing my entire minimalist wardrobe. Since some things changed I thought it might be the right time for an update video, I hope you enjoy.
Hey everyone. My name is Nick and here on my channel we talk about minimalism, and ways of living an intentional life. I try to make my videos as informative, and fun as possible. If you want to join this adventure, make sure to subscribe and we'll see where this journey takes us.
Many women complain about not being able to have such a minimalist closet, because society and blablabla. I am a woman and I use a style similar to yours. Jeans, t-shirts and sweaters, all in neutral colors. Over time you realize that nobody cares how you dress, or if you repeat an outfit. It's only in your head. Greetings from Chile.

She said no one noticed and I like that concept. Really minimalist.
Hey same here, I'm a housewife and a truck driver part time and I dress very similar to this video. Mostly comfort colors tshirts, yoga pants and jean's and hoodies. If I'm going anywhere nicer, I'll wear a nice blouse with my jeans and ballet flats. I have one dress for very special occasions.
Exactly. I constantly wear the same clothes and i don't care what anyone else thinks about it

From a male perspective - if we maintain a good physique throughout life we can get away with wearing very plain clothes every day.
I agree, as a middle aged woman, Ive recently noticed that I look more put together in minimalist/casual clothes since ive lost weight and got in better shape. If you keep your physique/figure up you dont have to try quite as hard not to look sloppy.
@@michelleheadrick951 that's really a good way to live regardless of gender. Once we realize we are a soul with a body and not a body with a soul we know we should keep our human machine in top condition. Looking great is a natural result of being in control of the body.
Plain clothes yeah, but wearing the same shorts everyday nah 🤣 I wear 6 different gym shorts
Well as a woman I have solved the problems of having to match upper clothes and trousers, by only wearing dresses. You put on 1piece of clothing and you are good to go! So I only have 7 1940s vintage dresses (all short-sleeved) and 3 cardigans (that I wear over the dresses for autumn and winter). I have no socks, as I only wear black tights. So I have 10 main clothing items. And I am so happy that I switched to dresses, as it makes my choices so much easier in the morning. 😉
Me too… I wear dresses on the weekends. T-shirt and jeans on the weekday.

Keep 2 tops and 1 pair jeans.2 tracks for Winter.

How does the dresses work out when you’re; cleaning, doing yard work, making repairs around the home, working out at the gym or at home?
I shall be heading to my wardrobe after watching this to whittle down the stacks of unused clothes I’m never going to wear again. Thank you for making it look so easy!

Ill suggest to you uniqlo ultra light pants. You only need two black. Its light, and dries easily.

As a women with a decent sized closet: I wish I could wear a uniform everyday but I hated it. Sometimes I dress up, dress down or whatever. I still declutter when it’s time.
I hate when people tell me I should wear a uniform. Or they tell me I have too much for a minimalist. I understand it’s not your type of minimalism but for me it’s perfect. I’ve decluttered at least 67 big trash bags since I started minimalist at 17. I’m 21 now and love how free I feel and how much room I have!! Xx
I love this! Everybody has a different version of minimalism so for someone to say you have too much is irrelevant

I have minimized my closet and i now only wear clothes i like wearing and clothes that are comfortable! And i have stopped pleasing others by not wearing things that have a designer labels and uncomfortable stuff. LoL i´ll switch with you we are having snow and rain now brrrrr i´ll take florida weather anytime!! haha .. Love the video😊

Love your videos and a new subscriber. I have 3 sons and I love watching your videos to get ideas for them for presents. Only I would swap out long pants for shorts, they all wear them all year long however they do their track suit pants.

You aren’t ugly since you shaved, just make sure to carry your id if you buy alcohol. It’s nice to see a minimalist not pushing Cuts clothing! I’m in FL & the only time I wear shorts is when I’m going to be outside the whole day b/c I’ll be too cold inside with the a/c☀️🌴

I have slightly more clothing but, I like implementing rules about what to keep/replace. I gravitate towards brighter colors, but I stay on the same color palette for example. Also, who cares about outfit repeats if they're clean?

I have got the opportnity to come over to America to see my family and i havn,t seen my sister for 30yrs, I was getting so upset because i have no really nice trendy amasing clothes, but they are clean and i have been trying to get things but nothing is working, any way i had to give myself a good talking too, How amasing that i am even able to make this trip and no one will remember my clothes, i have never been fashionable and why am i so bothered now, EGO i guess. Anyway i think i am ugly but i have a nice smile, and they say thats the best thing to wear on your face.

Lovely vid N. I am curious as to what kind of pants you have. You mentioned the brand, but I can’t find anything similar in the UK. Yours look as smart as jeans but as comfortable as sweatpants. Why can’t I find an equivalent.

Having that few underwear and socks is objectively dumb because they do not take much space to store and having more means washing less often, seriously, washers can handle lots of socks…🤨
