Unfortunately the Thompson mags are not compatible. I usually will purchase my extra magazines from Pyramydair.com, Amazon or EBay. It all depends on who has the best price.
I can appreciate old technology because it got use to where we are today, but I have this tendency to want to make things better. It doesn't always work but sometimes I like the results.

You do realize these are supposed to replicate the originals in form and function ? So you'd dislike the same things about the originals.
