I love that area, and my girlfriend and I, God rest her soul, really enjoyed our stay at the Thunderbird Resort back in 2015. A great stretch of beach and lots of classic Old Florida motels and restaurants to enjoy.
love your videos. I'm from Chicago. When I was 19 I lived in Largo FL for a year or so. i used to hang out on indian rocks beach all the time. great beach. Growing up I always dreamed of living in LA by the ocean. It wasnt until after I moved to LA and experienced it that I realized I really wanted to live in FL all along. 😂 Cheers. thanks for the entertainment
I remember it . I'm a Florida native a d grew up in Tampa. It was pure heaven when I was a child. Renting a frame house on the beach for a month every summer. Crab boils on the beach. Idyllic 🏖
I grew up there too! Also went to mad beach middle! We lived right across the street from the church by the sea. My parents owned the candy kitchen in the late 80's. I miss it every day...
Agreed! I flew to tampa, thought I would stay in Clearwater the entire time, but asked a local what some of his favorite spots were, and he mentioned Madeira beach, and johns pass, and I was very glad I listened to him, plan on making another trip down there in March.
Beautiful video I went on 2019 to st. Pete and Clearwater but I didn't go to Madeira beach but I'm moving next year from utah so excited thanks for you video
I live here and I'm telling you right now there's no place else I'd rather live. Tampa Bay area is a great place to be as well. I will tell you there is a huge real estate boom going on around here. It's growing so fast! If you need any help, eyes on the ground kind of thing, don't hesitate to reach out.
This brings back memories. My uncle had a condo in Madera and we used to spend a week there every summer. Even though I live in Tampa I haven't been back in 20 years and it's nice to see things look just like they used to. It was so quiet compared to Clearwater and that was part of its charm. Thanks for sharing 😊🍻
Great video. My parents moved down to Redington Shores in '97 and never looked back. Villa Gallace in Indian Rocks is not featured and is top shelf Italian food on the intracoastal waterway.
Thanks for the great video! My wife and I have a place in Indian Shores that we rent out when we're not in residence. This video gives the best overall footage of the best part of Sand Key.
Again a wonderful video of one of my favourite spots. I am also an avid dog lover so I love seeing clips of your pooch. 🐶. As a Canadian, we are looking forward to the day we can travel again and enjoy the many joys and wonder that is Florida
Thank you for the great video. I spent the month of February 2019 in Madeira beach. I enjoyed it so much that I’m returning the next February. I hate the bitter cold of winters in Michigan. I realized there is so much I didn’t see in neighboring cities like Treasure Island and Indian Rocks. I definitely will be touring them more next year.
One of my favorite areas of the United States - hope to retire here in about a decade - I'll get to watch those sunsets every night + dine at JDs more often! Thanks for the video!!
Love your informative, fun look along Gulf Blvd! We have a part time home in Madeira Beach and my Mother has had a home and rental property in St Pete Beach for almost 20 years;). If you ever going touring that route again-don’t miss The Frog Pond restaurants-Both located along Gulf. One in St Pete and the other in Remington Beach. Best breakfast and lunches around!!! Thanks again for an excellent video tour :-) yes, I can see our home along your route :-)
I use to be homeless in madeira beach, this dude named tony saw me and my gf sleeping on Archibald's beach and asked us if we wanted to stay on his sail boat that was anchored in the middle of the marina (hurricane irma had just hit and a bunch of boats where cast away into the cove at the marina, near the McDonald's and the publix with the docks... Such a strange yet fun time of my life. I miss the Kratom and Kava bar on the main strip!
I watch all of your videos. I never comment (because I watch from my tv) but I wanted to let you know that I love your videos. You do such a great job of really capturing the essence of the locations you feature. Thanks for letting us travel vicariously through your lens.
Great video as usual. Always love your videos. This one happens to be in my backyard. Thanks for taking the time to do this video. It reminds all of us Gulf Coast Floridians why we're here. Best regards, Gil, Largo, FL
Nice video. A good overview of the many places and things to do. Even us locals need to be reminded sometimes of all we have to enjoy here. Will be booking a few days at the beach this week.
Great video! that's my brother Gabe's restaurant, Slow Roasted! Yes, they are pup friendly, and man can he cook! Absolutely some of the best food ever (no bias here)! His sangria is pretty amazing too!
My wife and I love every upload on your channel. I live in Land O Lakes and you inspire us every week to go on an adventure in this area (and out of town, too).
My husband and I have visited this area for the last four years staying specifically in Treasure Island at Sunset Vistas Resort. We absolutely love Johns Pass and many of the eateries and other entertainment mentioned in this video. If you are looking for some real R&R at the beach please visit this area. We are headed back this spring.
thank you for making us discover your beautiful country. In September, I was going to take a trip to california, arizona (grand canyon and lasvegas. Unfortunately I canceled at all because of the corona virus. thank you for your nice video. the USA is a very beautiful country and I love it.
Thankyou, well hopefully we can rid this virus soon. Traveling I think can be done very safely, and in ways is the best time to travel, but some states do have restrictions that is good to check before you go.
This video is great. It really helped show case the treasure island area really well. I've watched many of your videos. The drone footage and your narration are really done well.
Thankyou for the nice words. Yep, Trip Advisor must have seen the video because they rank Treasure Island & Madeira Beach in the top 20 in US this year.
I've been here in Treasure Island for a few days. Your video was a great tour guide for which beach to check out and good restaurants to eat at. It's really a must watch for people coming to treasure Island. Great job
You do really great work!! I have lived in this exact area for over a decade and look forward to sharing this video with friends and visitors to the Area.
Dude you are an absolute gangster at making these videos, keep doing it. Thank you for videos like these about this area of Florida. Planning on moving to Madeira beach area in February!
Thanks so much for your amazing videos! Makes me miss my home so much! It’s a great way to escape the northeast virtually. Please keep them coming! How about a video on new Smyrna/Daytona or Palm Coast? We love JB’s fish camp in new Smyrna. I’m sure you know about it already. 😀
Amazingly informative videos across all of the key areas of Florida. These are super helpful for planning our trips to Tampa and st pete. Brilliant !!!
I loved in st. Petersburg for 17 years. I loved every minute of it. When things got bad I'd go to the beach and sit and watch the horizon until I felt better. I also used to sit under the John's pass bridge. Nice to see the boats and catches people make. Although I've been back many times, I came back in 2016 to celebrate my finishing my cancer treatment. We stayed at the sand castle 1. There's 3 resorts and they are beautiful. Right on the beach. Lovely accommodations. Great place to stay to get away from it all. Cant wait to come back again.....next time I might not leave. Thanks for an awesome video. Brought back so many good memories. I also miss tiki gardens. That was one of the best places as a kid I remember besides of course Disney! Keep up the great work. I'm subscribed 😊
Thank you so much for showcasing my hometown of Madeira Beach! Also thanks for giving Gabe’s place on the John’s Pass Boardwalk a shout out! His specialty is a Florribean Seafood Gumbo! ❤️ all your travel videos as well!
Well done! (I have operated group tours over N. America - Central America to above the Arctic Circle for 40 years) Have vacationed all along Florida's West Coast thru those years. First time at Indian Rocks there were just two beach condo buildings. Each three stories. What a change. People. Still a nice coast to stay on.
So awesome places, beauty of America ❤❤❤🇺🇸 one day i will be there to enjoy that beautiful movement of life .& and thanks you brother for your lovely vlog keep it up bro ❤❤❤😘🇮🇳🇺🇸✌.
Once again an amazing informative video. Thank you. You have now shown me places I didn't think of visiting. I cannot wait to visit again. Thanks from Scotland 🏴 P.S we all love your dog

Very good video, super informative. Wife and I (with 4 grandkids) are flying in Friday, Tampa Zoo Saturday and then the beach. WAS going to Clearwater but want to avoid the huge spring break crowds. Needed a video just like this to plan an alternative. PS...up here we call it "year'oh" with a slight R roll, not "Gie-roh" 😄....if I were to ask you for your final recommendation for a group that included two 8 year Olds and two 6 year old, which would it be? I really wanted to hit Clearwater to check out the pier, buskers and of course the sunset and white sand but I JUST seen a news clip today that the spring breakers are coming in. 2nd question would be, am I better off coming over south of 60 from the zoo?
yep, we just filmed Grand Rapids, and Holland, Grand Haven, & South Haven last month. Love MI, wouldn't mind shooting more up there. Frankly in the summer I prefer the beaches of MI.
YOU DID NOT MENTION MUCH ABOUT THE CONCH REPUBLIC GRILL AT Redington BEACH . ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO GO, AND OPPOSITE THE DOUBLE TREE HILTON IS THE ISLAND HOUSE MOTEL NEWLY REFURBISHED A GREAT PLACE TO STAY
