Man... this makes me feel bad because how I interpret this is probably completely different from what you actually went through but... this reminds me of the time I said I would wait to be friends with this younger kid who had a crush on me. Long story short- they came back to discord and they were well... not the same person. They would send nsfw to their friends publically and it made me uncomfortable so I left them despite promising we would still be friends. They lied to me about their age and shit so I dont typically feel that upset about it- that is until now. We're still apart and I dont plan on trying to find that kid again, but sometimes I feel guilty for leaving. I made a promise and I broke it- but what they were doing was severely wrong.
